A great hotel in the perfect location for the centre and a short home after drinking! Front desk and the rooms were great. The breakfast quality was the weakest link. A little more selection and a higher quality would match the rest of the hotel.

Perfect for a short business trip. Central location , clean and nice rooms with all the needed amenities. There is no view for the room because of a nearby construction site. breakfast was good, but i guess with the same price you can get a better breakfast in one of the nearby cafes . Would definitely go back in future trips to Manchester.

A very comfortable room, with a double bed and a single, plenty of pillows, a good selection of tea/coffee, air conditioning which worked nicely. Shampoo, shower gel and hand soap were provided in the bathroom. The room was quiet and I was not disturbed. Breakfast was outstanding - buffet style with plenty of choice and some of the best tasting food I have had in a hotel recently. All the staff were polite and efficient. Very easy to get to this hotel from Oxford Road station, it's about a 5 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a user-hostile hotel that welcomes you with a McDonald - style screen for checkin, but worse - it asks for lots of irrelevant detail such as your address (which you already supplied when booking) to be typed in. And then it promises to send you your room number by sms to your phone, but makes you wait for a few minutes for it, as it is “processing”. All this time, there is a human on the other side of the counter, who does not want to talk to you and insists that you struggle with the display screen. The rooms are OK but uninspiring, and there was black mold around our bathtub, in places that were not super-easy to reach. And when you check out, don’t expect a receipt - the humanoid at the reception desk who directed you to the computer will refuse to give you one.

    1. It takes forever for the reception to pick up the phone. 2. It takes 3 hours, 3 calls and still counting to get a tissue box to the room (as the original one was already empty when I first entered the room) 3. they wrap all the rubbish bins in the room in a funny way that it’s impossible to place any rubbish in them. 4. the lamp on the desk is not working but i’m tired of calling them to fix anything already. 5. I wish I could told the hotel all the above unpleasant experience directly but there’s no contact information or so in their official website therefore I had to place my comment here while still waiting for my tissue box. Good luck for those who picked this hotel for your stay

A warm friendly welcome on arrival which was lovely. I requested a high floor and although I understand this can't be guaranteed, the lady on reception had sorted this. Everything explained clearly before going upto our room. The room was very clean and comfy and quiet and a decent size. Breakfast was really good. A great choice and something unique to buffet breakfast, cooked well, and served hot. The restaurant is spacious and relaxing. Excellent location for that side of town for bars, cinema, restaurants etc. Will stay again.

To be honest the property itself deserves about 4 star rating. Most of the staff was amazing and very helpful very kind. The room service was good as well despite the holidays. Our experience in all was lovely. During our stay we interacted with about 4 receptionists. 3 of them were entirely lovely and delightful. However our interaction with Sharon was not so lovely. We felt a hint of racism towards us when asking her for simplest of requests.. she was blunt in her replies towards us while being perfectly lovely to guests before and after us.

Perfect service in a great hotel! We stayed here last minute due to our original hotel being filthy and having to leave. Both Laura the manager and Ian front of house were so lovely ensuring we had a great end to a horrible weekend by both being lovely, welcoming and even upgrading us. The room was spotless, great size and a comfy bed. The only downfall was that room service didn't answer our call and we had to swap the TV remote as it didn't work but everything else was great!

It was the best hotel I have stayed in Manchester. The room was great the staff was really nice and helpful plus happy to. The girl T. Was good with me and family. But the other girls are helpful to. I also had good chats with the night manager Ben. I am from Belfast and would definitely stay there anytime I'm in Manchester. Love you all Spencer3 . God bless 🙏

Convenient Location and Seamless Check-in and Out The hotel’s location is ideal, making it easy to access nearby attractions and transportation hubs. The check-in and check-out process was smooth. Room was well cleaned and also maintained excellent hygiene standards. However, I would recommend the hotel to provide a dental kit for added convenience. Additionally, while the shower gel and shampoo were readily available, placing them at a certain height with a locking mechanism proved to be inconvenient as it required extra effort to access them.

Great location near the old Hacienda. Room was well appointed and the hotel seemed to have everything you'd need - even a small shop for everyday essentials you may have forgotten. A special mention to Ian on the front desk who really provided a warm welcome and made a note of mentioning well thought through details such as checking we hadn't left any essentials such as phones or wallets in our luggage when we left it behind after check out. The man really was the most professional who could find anywhere

My stay in Manchester was made very comfortable by the staff here who made me feel very welcome as soon as I walked in! I think it was J & T who were on front desk, they had very bubbly personalities and had me sorted straight away. Room was super clean too and you can open the window! Thank you :)

Make sure to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. They compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the best in the area. I've been coming here for years. If you stay for a few days you won't be disappointed. This hotel was perfect for a weekend break in Manchester. It was the perfect location to get straight into town, there is secure parking opposite and its right next to the Met stop. The rooms were a good size and recently refurbished. All the staff were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere to the hotel.

Nice, modern, clean hotel with friendly staff. The bar restaurant was under staffed which meant there were no clean tables to sit at and people were waiting a long time to order drinks and revieved cutlery and food etc. Other than this, no problems. The room was comfortable, as was the bed. I would stay again but would eat elsewhere.

I stayed in the hotel for one night. The location is great, staff is very friendly. I was lucky to have an early check in. You can find everything you need in the room. The only thing there is construction nearby (it was quite noisy in the morning). Thank you!

Nice hotel. Rooms had everything you need / expect that all worked as it should. Communal spaces were nice and the breakfast was plentiful and tasty. So yeah I'd stay again!

Bed was comfortable. Good temp control. Absolutely no sound proofing between rooms. Could hear the person in the room next door having a wee, running the tap, using the hairdryer etc.

Central reservations made huge mistake and booked us in to the wrong Leonardo and then failed to acknowledge/rectify their mistake. Still waiting now for a call back to sort it out!!! Check in took over 45 minutes!! Literally stood in a queue for 45 mins to check in! Room service is not 24 hour! It is 12pm-9pm Rooms are clean, that’s the least you can expect though!

Good value hotel although slightly off the beaten track, a good 10-15 minute walk from main activities and shopping. But, rooms are a decent size, very clean and excellent service at the reception desk

The first night I stayed in first floor rooms(11x room nu.) and it was very cold. Even I told the reception they said the room will get hot soon but it was windy cause of cracks in window. I get cold. The second room at 5th floor and the toilet water was never stops. It's impossible to sleep with heavy water noise. I told reception to solve the problem two times but no-one helped. The hotel has lots of circulation so I guess staff number not enough for operation.

Pretty basic but that’s what you pay for. Staff were amazingly helpful. Rooms were clean and fine for the night, not a lot of soundproofing so wasn’t the best nights sleep but for a night it did the job.

I've stayed a few times here in the past and each time has been excellent. The room was spacious and very well cooled by the air conditioning due to it being a heatwave at the time. Breakfast was wonderful and had many options covering lots of dietary requirements. Well located next to the the Central Convention Complex and near to food and groceries of you need them. All in all a lovely place to stay.

For a reasonably budget hotel, it was good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast ok. Room was very good. I would stay there again if I was in Manchester.

The rooms are well equipped and the breakfast was good. The staff in the bar didn't look happy to be there, and the morning staff made no attempt to greet the staff but were more interested in their phones

Pleasantly surprised hotel and an enjoyable one night stay. The room was clean and tastefully decorated. The staff were very attentive and the breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay again.

I used this hotel to stay after my graduation for a bit of relaxation. It was honestly one of the comfiest beds I had ever slept in. The room was spacious, light and had lovely decoration. Checking in and out was easy, my bag was able to be left their while I had my ceremony. Within walking distance to everything I needed, train station, pubs, coffee and food. The canal is along the back too if you fancy a walk. Probably up there as one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in.

Nice clean and quiet. Very helpful friendly staff who deliver a professional service with the warmest of smiles. Breakfast is tasty and there is a large selection of food to choose from. Never got to use the restaurant or bar as closed due to covid but this did not spoil our stay. Rooms are just right and it is great to have an iron and ironing board in each room. Bed very comfortable and slept like a baby. Thank you for a great stay.

Great location. Easy check-in and check-out. Decent sized room. Clean. Good shower pressure. USB socket in the room. Nice comfy areas to hang out. Good breakfast. Chilled, modern vibe overall. Great value for money. Didn't get a chance to try the restaurant or 24hr room service, but looked interesting.

I’ve stayed here a few times now and it’s always a welcoming arrival in the open plan lobby area. The check in process is always completed quickly and the fast lifts never need waiting for. There’s lots of seating within the lobby area and always has a buzz about it. All the communal areas are modern and clean and the rooms continue that experience. There’s certainly a range of sizes to the rooms, some being rather cramped and others much more spacious, but each has the good same facilities including electric sockets next to the bed and efficient air conditioning. For a short stay there has always been a good number of hangers in the wardrobes and adequate storage space with the sleep quality great - no noise from outside or adjacent rooms. The main hotel bar is in the basement so suffers with the lack of any natural light and felt somewhat claustrophobic. The staff are nice enough, but combined with regular stock shortages its certainly no ‘destination’ with the alternative nearby options. Depending on what you class as central for the city, or where you need to be, means the location might not be ideal, but even taking a fifteen minute walk to central areas hasn’t been a problem for me knowing that it’ll be a comfortable and pleasant stay every time - if the price is right it’s always a consideration for me.

Great location which is walking distance to both Oxford Road and Deansgate train station. The tram stop is equally near. Rooms are modern with all the amenities we required. The lighting was a bit underwhelming and didn't really illuminate the room. There was also some noise from the corridors. Good value considering the dates we stayed

Couldn't fault the hotel except when having breakfast and still eating a waitress comes up and put a clean set of cutlery and napkin in front of me for when i vacate the table. Thought it was quite rude and trying to get me to hurry up. There was only 4 other tables in use with loads empty so it's not as if they were busy at the time! Needless to say I took my time! Jack on reception when arriving the evening before was very friendly, helpful and attentive. An excellent representative to the company.

This review is for Bradley at the reception. It was my husband’s birthday and I booked last minute with no certain expectations. Bradley was efficient, helpful and pleasant and even let us check in early which made our day. Apart from that, the Check in and check out was smooth. Can’t fault the room or the location. Will definitely stay again our next Manchester weekender.

Nice and clean, modern and decent price. Excellent location - 10 minute walk from Canal Street. Didn't dine here but was tempted by the menu and 24h room service (only serving pizza apparently). Free fast WiFi, plug sockets by the beds and good AC. Shower head was leaking on the floor. Checkout system was broken. But no real complaints, a very pleasant stay and would stay again.

  • 4/5 James N. 11 months ago on Google
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the management clearly failed to anticipate how busy this weekend was as, in my opinion, there was not adequate staffing levels and to be told there was a two hour wait for food in the restaurant at 8pm is, I think, a little on the unacceptable side. Also, they were completely inflexible on their booking policy despite the changes I wanted to make being entirely beyond my control. All in all, a nice stay but, not sure I'd stay there again.

Lovely hotel. Checking in was a pleasure with a really nice, friendly and talkative chap at the desk. We have a basic room but it's lovely. Spotlessly clean, 2nd floor, very modern great and green decor. Excellent location, just a brief walk away from Piccadilly and the city centre, and excellent value. Highly recommended!

Very good location....handy for town. Tram stop short walk away. Self service check in which was very good. Nice bar downstairs. Service was friendly although we had to ask 3 times for a remote control for our room....but that was no biggie. Overall a very good experience. Would highly recommend it for a stay in Manchester.

As an asthmatic and someone who suffers from mild claustrophobia, it’s really important to be able to open the window of hotel rooms that I stay in. This is proving more and more difficult these days as so many hotels have no regard for guests basic need for fresh air. I was delighted that you can open the window in my room at this hotel. In Manchester for a conference, it is even more important to have fresh air when you’ve been inside all day. The rooms were bright, clean and spacious and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for a long time - high, supportive and the right balance of firm and soft. 24 hour room service and a good choice of items at breakfast. I’ll definitely be staying again.,

Lovely hotel. Have all the basic amenities that you need in a hotel. The rooms are cozy with a modern touch to the decor and it's quite spacious. The breakfast is standard continental and English breakfast. It's located close (10-15 walk) to Piccadilly gardens and Oxford road. Busses are efficient in and around.

Great hotel in the city centre where everything is within walking distance or accessible using the tram. The rooms were clean and it was great being able to use the thermostat to control the heating! I would recommend as an option for a couple of nights within the city centre.

Room was clean, good facilities. Great powerful shower. Staff were friendly and helpful. Quick delivery of a heater for the room too. This hotel is perfectly located for concerts at The Bridgewater Hall. Which is why we stayed. Only issue was building work on site next to us. But a mere temporary noise during our stay.

Comfortable stay at this hotel, perfectly placed for attending the Manchester Central Conference Centre. Bed was comfortable, with good selection of pillows. Standard TV option & plenty of sockets for appliances as needed. Room not very light, but loads of mirrors with lights round them. Only two hangers in the wardrobe but I'm sure they would have provided more if I'd asked. The room staff were kind enough to spot that I was using decaf coffee & restocked me mid stay. Two bottles of fizzy water provided in the room. One side of room overlooked the canal, otherside a scaffolded building next door. Some technical difficulties whilst staying, every night I had to get my door card re validated as I couldn't get in my room, but there was no fuss about it. Breakfast was a buffet style selection with a good selection, although no obvious listings for allergen contents for those who needed it. Nice bar/coffee shop downstairs who were friendly & helpful when choosing drinks in an evening. Comfortable chairs with reading materials for those travelling alone. Provided luggage store at the end of stay for final day of conference. Vending machine in the foyer for snacks etc

Was really disappointed with our stay here. The rooms are very tired, the air con didn't work so it was hot as hell, the prosecco was missing from the room, it was noisy as people walked past the room due to the floor boards. It's in a great location, but the standard is poor and we'll definitely pick somewhere else on the next visit.

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
