Great location, close to everything - super friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. Rooms basic but comfortable. Hairdryer available at reception. Only issue was cleanliness. There were smudges and gunk on the walls and blinds. Patches of what seemed to be gravel collapsed from ceiling leaving dust on our stuff. See pictures. No toilet brush in bathroom. Not ideal when using a European style toilet. A bathmat would also have been appreciated, it gets soaked in there. Overall, good value, excellent service and what cleanliness issues aside, more or less what you'd expect for the price.

Had a great stay at the easyHotel Manchester City Centre. It’s at a very central location within walking distance of everything that’s downtown. A lot of nice cafes and restaurants are just around the corner. The hotel is very modern, with brick walls and huge windows. The cute reception area and very friendly and helpful staff just give it a warm and welcoming charm. The rooms are small, but very thoughtfully designed and everything was spotlessly clean.

The double bedroom I stayed in was basic, too basic. There wasn't even a handle or a little shelf for the towel and I believe they could have built some roof storage given how high the roof is. You would easily listen to other people in the rooms and anything from outside. The bathroom had some dirty spots and a leak, so all and all it doesn't justify the ÂŁ60 for one night. Friendly receptionists

Giving 2 stars as the staff were very helpful but the noise from the street and corridors was unbearable and meant that I didn’t sleep hardly for the two nights. Whilst it is cheap I think for my next stay I will pay a little extra and get a premier inn, Travelodge or other well known brand. Room was tiny and hardly any space at the end of beds. The bed wasn’t all that comfy either. Would I stay here again? In all honesty, no. Like I say I can’t fault the staff particularly the Man United supporting receptionist who gave us tips and hints for a good night out in Manchester.

Good location and nice staff. However, regarding my experience, there was a lot of trouble in regards to the room key not working due to someone else who had been allowed in our room. This wouldn’t of come to my knowledge if we didn’t go back to the hotel before heading to the football that evening, the door was locked from the inside and a bloke unlocked it and told us he had been allowed in our room until 9pm when he had to leave; our belongings had been left in this room and if it wasn’t a decent bloke who knows what could’ve happened. If the hotel was to contact me in regards to if someone could be placed in our room to rest it would’ve been a different story. Nice enough rooms and excellent location however this was poor from easy hotel.

Good location to centre. Rooms are tiny but have everything you need. The downside is the rooms are not soundproofed so you can hear everything in the corridor, room next to you and above. Even them flushing the toliet. Ground floor rooms lack privacy from street as your bed is next to a massive window which eye height to everyone on the street. However if you are looking to stay somewhere cheap this place is good.

This place takes the idea of a budget hotel to the next level. The rooms are so tiny it doesn't make sense for two people to share one. The bathroom is basically on top of the bed and offers no privacy. The rooms are noisy and you can hear everything people in the next room are doing. The location is good and the service was fine.

If you’re coming to Manchester for a one night stay these are fine if the price is right but I wouldn’t want to stay here for much longer than that. Rooms are absolutely tiny. Very few amenities within them. Check wasn’t great waited about 5 minutes before a member of staff was even present on reception. There’s plenty of hotels in this area I’d stay at before here. Also make sure you have photo Id with you when you check in!

Lovely little hotel. Budget friendly. If you want something fancy then it might not be for you but if you want budget friendly, good location and clean rooms then it's perfect for you. The rooms are super clean but very compact. Facilities are lacking, a hair dryer would have been a perfect addition and I wasn't overly impressed having to pay 20p for hot water to make a tea but it's not the end of the world.

Chose this hotel primarily on price and location. I have stayed in another easyHotel location where I had a poor experience so my expectations were quite low for this stay however I was pleasantly surprised. The room was mostly clean, check-in was efficient and bed was comfortable however the main drawback is the soundproofing. Anything in the corridor or neighbouring rooms can easily be heard so if you are a light/anxious sleeper then you should be aware this. Overall, this was extremely good value considering the small price I paid however don't expect premier inn quality here and this hotel is best for somewhere just for sleeping only.

We booked this hotel as somewhere just to get a good nights sleep: objective achieved. Great location, straight into the northern quarter and surrounded by great bars and brunch venues. Room we had was exactly like in the photo. Cool designs throughout and used lots of original cues from the original buildings architecture. Bed was comfy, shower was very good and the AC was a nice bonus. It is basic but for the price you will struggle to beat it. Clean throughout and everything easy to navigate, even at 2am 😉 super friendly staff, Claudia checked us in and was very welcoming even with our early arrival and bag drop off. They guy we met on desk later in the night was a right laugh and only added to the experience. Coming from 2 guys who have a l lot of customer service experience, the team did a fantastic job.

Great little budget hotel. Recommend for solo female travellers. Bed are quite firm but aside from that the location is great and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. I was checked in by Asif and he also assisted me throughout my stay. He was nicer and more helpful than staff at 4+ star places I’ve stayed.

Get exactly what you pay for from these EasyHotels. We paid ÂŁ40 for one night. Simple hotel, no bells and whistles but that's exactly what you need. Would use again 100% Only negative is that the rooms are on the small side, and you cannot open the windows for fresh air

  • 5/5 Brook R. 8 months ago on Google
Rooms are very nice for the price point, they are on the smaller side, but very well kept and modern. Staff are very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and offer any support with the local area. We would happily stay again

Very central, staff are very helpful. Easy to find and walking distance from everything. Rooms slightly small but nothing I wouldn’t expect for the price. Great value for money.

This is the perfect hotel to stay for short term, quick and easy process to check in. Very simple rooms in a perfect location. The staff are very polite and helpful, especially Claudia on the front desk, was happy to help when I was deciding to extend!

We spent four nights in this hotel and we do not regret! The room was very suitable for two people. the hotel is very well located, we find nearby. The staff is nice, special mention to Asif who makes sure everything is going well and who is listening. I recommend!

  • 4/5 Illustrator With I. 8 months ago on Google
The beds were quite small and a bit uncomfortable, great location but what would call for me to return was the staff’s outstanding service. Asif in particular was incredibly helpful, everything we asked for was given in an incredibly timely manner and with an outstanding amount of patience. I would definitely return to this hotel as the staffs first priority is the customers comfort above all.

Great location right in the middle of manchester, so easy to find. The rooms were clean with enough towels for two, clean sheets, comfy beds. Rooms felt secure Staff were wonderful, Claudia and Glinn were quick to check us out and store our bags. Would stay again

Super easy to book and check-in. Very friendly staff. We stayed overnight straight from the airport. Very easy to locate and central. I left a charger in my room and they were really helpful when I went back to get it :)

This is located in the heart of the city, and being the second cheapest hotel in the city, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, the tall ceiling, and cleanliness. Granted it wasn't the mariott, but it was very comfortable for whst I had paid. There's no kettle or hairdryer in the rooms, just FYI. Water pressure was good and temperature was hot. The heating and air conditioning was excellent as well. Would recommend for a short stay!

The hotel was everything you need for a night in Manchester. The rooms were clean, small but really useful. The bathroom really clean and the shower perfect. Although being in the city, it was bit noisy and really close to everywhere. Thanks for it!

  • 4/5 Luisina C. 9 months ago on Google
It was a great experience for one night. The shower was amazing after a few days of hostel and shared bedrooms. We were two and maybe things got a little too cosy, but in general was a good night :)

Super quick and friendly check in experience from Heather, excellent room that was immaculate and really comfortable with an AC which was perfect for this summer heat! Perfect location right in the Northern Quarter so you're in walking distance to everything you need (definitely nip over the road for coffee at Ezra and Gill!). Thanks again to Heather for the great experience, loved our time away!

Great hotel if you are on a budget. Location is great, not far from Piccadilly and close to the Northern Quarter with all its attractions! The rooms are *very* small though, so keep that in mind, especially if you have accessibility issues but don't require an accessible room. Rooms were clean and service very friendly!

  • 4/5 Lauren C. 5 months ago on Google
Stayed here for 3 nights for my boyfriend’s birthday and really enjoyed our stay. Staff at reception are very friendly and helpful, rooms are basic but have everything you need for a short stay! It is so central, you’re so close to everything and if I was coming to Manchester again I’d definitely stay here! Only downside was on the last night the noise of guests down the hallway all night long kept us up for hours but that’s no fault of the hotel.

  • 3/5 Anna T. 4 months ago on Google
Came here for a reasonably priced disabled access hotel room. While the location and service were great, the room was oddly laid out as half of it could not be accessed with a wheelchair. The biggest accessibility concerns, however, were the cobblestones out front which definitely led to some pain for the wheelchair user, and a very tight elevator that could not easily fit a wheelchair plus a carer.

  • 5/5 Charlie F. 4 months ago on Google
Everything about the hotel is, muah, French kiss! The TV in our room didn’t work but we weren’t that fussed about it. The rest of the room was good good good!! Service was great and helpful, when told about the TV they came up instantly to try and get it fixed. Finally the location, just perfect!! Right next to Piccadilly and has a good few little spots around the hotel. 10/10, very cheap, would recommend, would come again :)

Super easy (it’s in the name!). Really nice and helpful staff: helped us hire a taxi, gave us good recommendations around town, super polite as well â˜ș Rooms are simple but clean and practical. Great location too, steps away from Piccadilly station, gardens and pubs.

The lady that checked me out was lovely and talkative! The room was clean and decently sized, the only weird thing was how the bathroom was designed but that’s not to the fault of the hotel. It’s in a great location, very close to the city centre and has many shops near that don’t close till late. Overall, i had a very pleasant experience and would definitely use this hotel again when i come back to Manchester!

  • 5/5 Renato M. 4 months ago on Google
This is a great little hotel. Rooms are small but that’s all you need when you are trying to spend as much time visiting this wonderful city. Staff is super friendly and always willing to help. The location is fantastic! City center, a block away from everything you would like to see.

  • 5/5 Hanka B. 4 months ago on Google
Great hotel in a great location right in the city center. The hotel is clean, the staff is very nice, the rooms are a bit small but cozy. For this price, for a few-day trip - a revelation! We will definitely come back here! :)

The decor and the rooms were clean and pleasant. We had a twin room and it was tiny, I am so glad we had a window otherwise it would have felt worse. You struggled to get around the beds and there was no space to put things. However for one night it was fine. The decor and the exposed brick were lovely and the room exceptionally clean. We had a couple of issues which is why I have scored it lower. The TV remote was not connecting to the TV apparently a lot of TVs in the rooms had been having the same problem the previous day. Tried new batteries with no luck however the following morning it was working ! Second issue was the room temp, it was far too hot and the aircon unit was not reducing the temp, it was a unit I am familiar with so that wasn't the issue. The following morning I was told they could have reduced the temp at the main unit I should have just phoned them. It was in the middle of the night when we had the problem and didn't expect there was going to be a solution. Overall for the money I paid for the room I didn't feel it was great value for money (ÂŁ138) however I would stay there again however it wouldn't be my first choice, it was convenient to the city centre and the problems I had were temporary issues.

The location is honestly perfect, everything is walking distance. The room was very clean and Asif at the front desk was incredibly helpful. It checked all the boxes required- good price, good location, and very clean.

Very good hotel for the money. The beds are comfortable and the hotel is well located, close to the center and Northern Quarter. If you can book early, rooms are extremely affordable. The room has everything you need and was very clean and tidy. The only negative for me is the bathroom — the door doesn’t close all the way, is only partially frosted, and has a large hole in it, making it a little awkward if you’re sharing a room with someone and not comfortable sharing everything!

It was a great place to stay for a couple of nights. Very comfortable and clean. The staff looked after you well and thank you Arif who particularly looked after me during my stay. Such a great location, with many excellent cafes and bars nearby. I'd highly recommend this hotel. Thank you easyHotel staff

My first visit, other guests were loud in the hallways through the night like it was a dorm, but I paid roughly ÂŁ35 per night so, given the location, still a bargain. HOWEVER, I went back a few weeks later on a Bank Holiday weekend - they charged me ÂŁ235 for one night and the sink was clogged, and there was a leak in the bathroom. I had to wear shoes to go to the toilet and could not wash my hands or face. I informed the front desk of the issues and they wrote it down on a post-it. I contacted customer service to request a partial refund and after about a month still haven't gotten any response. TLDR - Good location, rooms sometimes ok & sometimes gross, terrible customer service.

Everything about this hotel is amazing. But the most wonderful thing about this hotel is their staff. Every one of their staff members are helpful, kind and friendly, going out of their way to help everyone find their way in this beautiful city. Asif helped us with many things related and non-related to the hotel. We appreciate everything this hotel has done for us and would recommend this to anyone. Thank you!

I stayed here for a week, and my first thought was that the room was tiny and there was no kettle. I mostly drink hot water, so I was quite disappointed about that, but despite these things, I had an enjoyable stay. The staff were super helpful, especially Asif. He's a sound guy who’s always willing to help and up for a chat after a long day. I really appreciated that as I was travelling alone, so it was nice to talk to someone at the end of my day - I gave 5* for his service because, honestly, there are no faults with the service he provided! The rooms are clean and the location was perfect for me, short walk to the Arndale and nice independent cafes around. So, despite the small rooms and no kettle, I felt comfortable and safe. I’ll recommend it to friends and family who want a cheap, clean and safe stay in the city

Located in the heart of Manchester, within walking distance to Piccadilly station. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Stayed in a Lower ground floor room and if the window blinds are not drawn down, pedestrians can see into the rooms. The room is clean but really small, and the double bed takes up the whole area. No space even to keep a trolley bag. Only towels were provided, no toiletries. Charges ÂŁ5 to keep luggage after check-out time.

  • 5/5 Kev M. 7 months ago on Google
I paid ÂŁ42 for my room for one night and it was perfect. Surprisingly quiet corridors at night. The room was clean and as described, I was next to the road which could be noisy every so often but ear plugs are provided so it isn't really an issue. Probably a bit of a squeeze for 2 people for any more than a night but at that price point you cannot complain at all. Great location also.

  • 1/5 Martin H. 7 months ago on Google
Terrible Hotel. Avoid at all costs. Rooms are tiny (literally couldn't get down either side of the bed!) Zero Service. Poor shower and what is the whole "Glass" Toilet/Shower Pod all about?? Who's idea was that?? No opening widows and AC that turned itself off after an hour?? 100% Horrible place....and not even that cheap! Advice.... Pay the extra ÂŁ10-20 and go somewhere with a decent rep (DoubleTree or somewhere else) you'll be thankful.... Trust me!

Very clean rooms and great value for money given the perfect location in the heart of the city centre. The staff are also very nice but I reduced my rating to 3 stars due to the last day of our stay the behavior of the receptionist working morning of 19th November was quite aggressive and rude opening our hotel room shouting “you have 10mins to leave” because it was 10.40am we had no idea check out was at 10am it’s usually 11am in any hotel and we were not notified of this on check in. Even if we were this is not a way to speak to guests barging in the room shouting like a prison warden after staying with you 2 nights!

  • 4/5 Matt S. 2 years ago on Google
It's really good value, the rooms are snug, but I was out except for sleep and a shower. Lots of amazing food places to east -Quarter House BBQ highly recommend. Lots of pubs and bars too. The rooms are not soundproof. I could hear the room neighbors watching TV and running the shower.

  • 4/5 Richard L. 1 year ago on Google
The room was very small, which is to be expected at this price point, but it was clean and had it's own bathroom. The bare red bricks on one wall gave it a nice Manchester vibe. Unfortunately the shower pressure was very poor, but that's where the negatives end for me. Like (i would guess) most people booking here, i didn't pick it for the room size, i picked it for the location which is absolutely perfect for a city break in Manchester. The staff were fantastic too, i was really impressed with how helpful they were and how warmly they treated us during our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

  • 5/5 Sandra O. 2 years ago on Google
The twin room was small but modern, clean and tidy. The bed linen was crisp and clean. The bathroom was spotless and the water was nice and hot in the shower. The staff were friendly and efficient. All in all it was perfect for our short stop over in the city centre. We'll be using it again and have no hesitation in recommending it.

  • 5/5 Trevor B. 2 years ago on Google
I was pleasantly surprised! This was a very cheap hotel, but perfect for an overnight bed en route to Manchester airport. The room was small but clean & comfortable with en-suite bathroom (shower, basin, toilet). Shampoo/soap & towels provided. Welcoming reception staff. Reception is staffed 24/7. While there is no tea/coffee facilities in the room, there were vending facilities and bars/cafes all around. Outside streets a bit noisy, but that's not the hotel's fault. Will happily use again.

Cheap and cheerful. Staff were great and you can't beat the location. If you want five star you have to pay for it. This was great value for money.

  • 2/5 tigger l. 2 years ago on Google
Nice and central, friendly and inexpensive. On the downside my shower leaked back into the room (don't tell me that hadn't been noticed - there was a couple of pints of water on the floor after my shower), the sink was pretty blocked (regular cleaning fluid would solve) and at 4am I woke convinced some bloke had broken into the toilet to have a wee. A water flow noise that randomly arrived, went on for 10 minutes and nicely disconcerted me. Oh yes, the TV randomly turned on at 8am I hadn't used it so not sure what that was about. I was at the time sharing water across the universe. Yes inexpensive but travelodge do it better.

After booking the room for the wrong day by accident, the staff were so helpful with fixing it. I went through a third party site and the hotel only had limited rooms left, but rushing for a concert, the staff were so nice to let us sort it out properly the next morning. The rooms were clean and what we expected with the price and destination, i would say the only down side was the partly frosted glass bathroom walls.. but i would definitely come again!

I've stayed here once before, great central location and the hotel itself is modern and clean. The room I stayed in was very small, but you get what you pay for. I liked the exposed brick walls, not trying to hide Manchester's industrial heritage. Fuss-free hotel stay

From the reviews I was very sceptical however, I left very impressed. The staff were very friendly, the rooms are perfect for the price, fresh towels, body, hair and hand wash in the bathroom. They have a coffee/hot chocolate machine in the hall along with a vending machine with a variety of snacks. The staff member who checked us in went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Great find in the heart of Manchester not far from Piccadilly train station or bars and restaurants. Check in was really easy and the room, whilst very small, was sufficient for somewhere to get my head down overnight. Best of all was the price, ÂŁ35 for a double room on the 4th floor. Surprisingly, there was very little noise from outside and a great night sleep all round. Check out is 10am and there is on street parking or car parks nearby which are chargeable. Overall really good experience at this no frills hotel

The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The room was clean which was great. The room is quite small but you get what you paid for. Only issue is bathroom which offers little privacy if you’re sharing with someone you’re not as close with. Otherwise, good value for money and the location is fantastic!

Only took 4 weeks to receive a refund & I don't think I would of got it back if it wasn't for a lovely guy called David on reception. After calling and calling and being promised 'wait another 5 days' a manager will email you blah blah blah I was getting nowhere until I called one evening and David was so friendly and helpful! What a legend I finally received my refund as he worked his magic for me and got it sorted.

Spotless room in the centre of the city. Reception team (Claudia) were extremely helpful when checking in. Showed an interest in the reason for my visit and welcomed me to the city. Offered advice regarding local cafes/coffee shops and said to contact reception should I need any further information. Room was clean and ready when I arrived. Efficient use of space with large window by the bed. Exactly what I required for a one night stay in the city. Overall nice experience, I will likely book again due to the professional and friendly staff.

great place for a one or two night stay. No kettle or wardrobe - very basic room but this place was just what we needed this weekend. The room was spotlessly clean, was given towels and had AC. The staff were so friendly, especially Asif who made sure our stay was as enjoyable and comfy as possible.

Great customer service from Asif, who helped us with anything we needed during our stay. Great room for wheelchair accessibility- spacious enough for our 3 night stay. Came down from Scotland for my birthday and this is the second time I have stayed here. Would return again. They even have coffee and snacks available 24/7 perfect for late night snack and caffeine fix first thing in the morning

This is a cheap hotel, but is clean, secure and quiet. The staff are pleasant and efficient. The rooms are tiny, so if you want to hang out in your room, go somewhere else. We were in Manchester for a match and this hotel was fine.

  • 4/5 Suthida C. 10 months ago on Google
5 stars rating for their very helpful and kind staff but 4 stars for the overall experience here. The location is perfect, 8 minutes by foot from Manchester Piccadilly station, and with in foot steps from highly rated coffee shops, brunch spots and pubs - effortless! The downside is the NOISE, unfortunately we were given a room on the first floor where we can hear people from the next door, in the hall way and even outside building on the street. It is a bargain because I am unsure if I would stay here again.

I really enjoyed this hotel. It is in a great location and very clean! It is pretty small, there’s not much room to walk or store bags, but great for the price! Our AC unit did start to leak but when we told the front desk they didn’t look very surprised so I think it happens often. They told us we couldn’t switch rooms because it was fully booked so they gave us a couple extra towels to clean it up and help pad the sound. Overall a great experience and I would book again!

There was no bottled water, kettle or small tooth paste that you would expect from a hotel. Apart from that it was good, bedsheet and bathroom were clean had a good night sleep. Although there were noise in the middle of the night the place is built like one of those container storage places high ceiling but the wall does not extend to ceiling possibly that was the reason of noise? But for the price I paid I am totally happy with the service. There is a paid parking nearby on 75 dale street if anyone is coming with a car charge is 17 pound for 24 hours.

  • 2/5 Yasmin L. 1 year ago on Google
Even though the staff are lovely and it is in a very good location, right near the centre (and a 2 min walk from the Christmas markets at the moment) the rooms are extremely small. I am pretty small myself so I was able to squeeze round the bed but someone bigger than me would struggle. The bed wasn’t comfy at all, it was like sleeping on a rock.

i stayed here for one night, and for that it was good for the price. location is great, there's wifi. the beds are quite hard, but again, okay for one night. rooms are indeed not very well noise-insulated, but i slept fine with earplugs on the second floor. staff was kind and helpful. did the job for me.

  • 5/5 Michael S. 9 months ago on Google
Friendly helpful staff, clean room, room is basic but that’s what you pay for at the low price. Central location. Beds are comfy and air con keeps the room cool. Would stay again due to low price

  • 3/5 Elnara K. 1 year ago on Google
Comfortable bed and nice temperature in the room. However, double room was very tiny, bathroom does not provide privacy, lack of facilities such as a kettle, cups, hairdryer, even hand towels. Isolation is not ideal as I could hear other people staying next door and upstairs. Cleanliness of the bathroom was not up to standards. It was bearable but I wouldn’t choose easyHotel for the future. Sorry

Once I stepped down Newton Street I almost forgot how busy the city was. The hotel is right in the middle of the city but its quite nice to not have to deal with a crowded pavements as soon as I step outside. The receptionist, named Louis, who greeted me was immediately friendly and very clearly answered all of the questions I had for him which is something not all hotels have unfortunately. Friendly and helpful staff definitely make the stay more feel more relaxing. The room I booked felt very spacious and modern considering the size of it. Everything looked and was clean. The convenient plugs, switches and shelf next to the bed were very useful. The temperature of the room was incredibly comfortable, as was the mattress and bedding. I would definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit the city considering the biggest "problem" I encountered was figuring out how the shower worked.

Staff were very friendly and helpful! We were allowed to check in very early free of charge which was very kind! It was very clean and well maintained. Our room had a lovely industrial feel with the wooden ceiling and brick wall. Only down side was the room was smaller than expected. We knew it was gonna be small from other easy hotel experiences. Although the bed was quite firm it was still very comfortable. I would recommend asking for another pillow but it isn't a huge issue! I would 100% stay again. Might be my new home when I come to visit

A great budget option for near Manchester center. Rooms are quite snug but perfectly functional and staff were helpful when needed. I did note a bit of dust and dirt down one side of the bed but nothing major. The bed was also a little bit hard for us and we woke up a few times in the night. Overall though for the price we found it to be perfectly functional in a great location.

    * The staff always seemed jovial. :) * The room was clean and at the end of the hallway, which made it fine in terms of people's noise (the other rooms seemingly had rather brittle, newly constructed walls in this older building). Still: the street traffic outside was loud, but the windows couldn't be opened anyway :/ I liked the beds + bathroom, but the room itself had NO closet besides a larger coat-hanger-like hook. Be aware if you need storage space. * The location is good for walk/train travel. ED: I'd totally recommend it!

The rooms are a little small and basic, you don't have a kettle for example. They are however flawlessly clean, reception is run by a team of the most cheerful and helpful people you could ever hope to meet. The facilities may be basic as they say on their website, but the team running the keep it spotless and are a joy to interact with.

Stayed with my daughter when we came to Manchester for a Queen & AL concert. The room was perfect for our needs. Only in the room to sleep as left for our train early the next morning. Very cheap, clean and comfortable and convenient for Piccadilly station. The receptionist was a fellow Queen fan and he was a scream!! Would definitely stay again.
