Great staff and handy for the metro link into the city centre. Room was clean but very warm as the window doesn't open very much and there's no air conditioning. Would be spot on if they had an EV charger in the car park, seems like a missed opportunity. Other than that, really nice.

It's currently 2:15am and not a chance of sleeping with all the noise from movement on floor above. Perhaps the floorboards could be fixed so they don't creak. I have already decided to cancel the next stay and go somewhere else and I will be using the good night's sleep guarantee for a full refund.

Brilliant location and you can get the 59 bus into Manchester for Β£2 per person and is only around 20 mins ride. Highly recommended. ** The bus stop is just down the road from the hotel on the same side**

The stay was OK nothing special, breakfast was A Shambles. Spoke to reception who said would get me refunded, however no refund has appeared and I think I will have better chance getting hold of the dead than I do getting hold of Premier Inn guest relations. Customer service is one of the poorest I have seen.

Having used a different hotel chain on a regular basis the staff at the hotel have totally blown me away with the way they looked after me. One member in particular, the receptionist Kate went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and I was very well looked after by her. I hope I can come back to that hotel so I can thank her for everything she did for me, I will recommend the hotel to anyone needing a stay in the area.

Good location and free parking is a bonus. Rooms are not like the modern premier inns though. No purple lights or comfortable feeling. Very basic with no air conditioning. Not one I think I’ll return to as it’s in need of a facelift.

A decent hotel, and cool, the room floor was a little dirty, and there was no refrigerator in the rooms. The receptionist said we had to bring our perishable to them to help refrigerate as per policy??? There were also cobwebs at the entrance, told the lady, went out, came back and the cobwebs were still there, she said she forgot or something to clean it. TV was showing very old movies. Anyway, above all, cool. Thanks.

Highly recommended. A good place to lodge. The space comes with clean rooms and quiet surroundings. I will recommend that you choose their Β£9.99 unlimited breakfast offer when booking.

Very clean and warm. Lovely staff. Comfortable bed, great shower. Very quiet. Great access to the motorway. A bonus is the Beefeater next door. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here to attend a concert in Manchester. There is a really big, free car park, which was the first thing that attracted me to choose this over other hotels closer to the venue. Check-in was smooth and fast, and after a quick freshen up , a taxi was booked by a wonderfully friendly lady on reception (Mary) . The room is the same as every other Premier Inn, there is some noise from other people coming and going but the beds are amazing. I feel as though I have slept on a cloud.

Good place to stay if you're visiting Manchester. Clean and tidy rooms with friendly staff. Slept really well - had a room at the back away from the road. You can just pop nextdoor to eat or have breakfast in the Beefeater.

We stayed at Premier Inn Heaton park on the 25th and 26th of March. All I can say is WOW we had a lovely stay, the room was so clean and the staff especially Marry was on a different level she was the nicest lady ever! A credit to Premier inn she treated our children so special, So thank you Marry for making our stay so special.

Stayed here solo while on a two-day break, was fairly priced and also easy to get to and from the city centre on the tram. Also love the location right next to Heaton Park, started off one of my mornings with a walk around it. The room itself, like the hotel, wasn't exactly modern but it was still very comfortable and spacious so can't ask for much more! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Booked myself in for breakfast on my last morning, which was tasty. Really enjoyed my stay here, look forward to the next one!

Lovely receptionist, very friendly and helpful. Rooms were lovely. Especially the bathroom with a walkin shower. Just a short walk to the tram stop, then about 10 minute journey into Manchester City centre. One of the nicest premier inns we've stayed in and free parking. Would return here if we visit Manchester again.

Rooms were clean and well prepaired, shower was poor with next to no flow or pressure, we were on ground floor and 1st floor occupants footsteps were incredibly noisy(creaking) also on the road side in an inner city location with the associated road noise Parking was poor with tight spaces. We had issue with noisy guest, staff were amazing and dealt with it well

Brilliant location, across the road to Heaton park. Beautiful park. The receptionist, who's name I have forgotten, was brilliant. Went over and beyond everything we needed. All I can say is she was Irish. Lovely lovely lady.

Great location for Tough Mudder, a 5 minute walk from Heaton Park. Β£125 for the night which was expensive, check in was at 3, although when we got there at 1, the room was ready but they wanted an extra Β£10 to check in early. We went for a pint next door and came back at 3

Arriving from M62/M60 the hotel was very easy to find and park at. Checked in by friendly staff and found room very clean and well appointed. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel was quiet and blackout curtains very effective so had a good night's sleep. Breakfast in the neighbouring Beefeater - full - English - was cooked perfectly and included black pudding.

We were visiting a sister at North Manchester General Hospital. The Premier Inn is very close to it. Very clean rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Beefeater next door serves great food. The staff there are very friendly and clearly hardworking. I look forward to my next stay.

To be honest not a great experience. We booked in late in the day. To be meet at reception by a rude lady who was more concerned that we intureppted her tea than booking us in properly. We was rather rudly handed the swipe cards for the room with no information on room location or the breakfast setup. And to be honest after a busy day setting up our daughter at uni we didn't question these details The following morning we was informed the cooked breakfast we had paid for in advance had to be pre booked at the restaurant next door. We had no details from the reception upon arrival or provided any details of this arrangement. When booking online The team on reception that morning where apologetic of the situation but offered no solution apart from a refund.... not great service tbh. Also the heating in the roomwas stuck at 25 degrees.... no adjusting could be done.. even after downloading the manual for the aircon heating system.

Have used many Premier Inns over the years for work. This was the usual fayre, pub next door and good location. Not given 5 stars as TV in room pretty useless (digital signal kept breaking up)

Didn't know what to think as little bit out of the centre . but a lovely hotel and it has the beefeater connected with it.. The tram will take you out to Heaton park but we found it was better to get off at Bocker vale which is the stop before and it's a short walk from the station down to this hotel...Very smart clean .nice breakfast dining area and great service from the staff ...We told them we'd be back & recommend this Premier Inn & Beefeater...

Fantastic nights sleep and the reception girls were lovely. One particularly lovely lady who kindly gave us some biscuits after our chocolate got stuck in the vending machine! Room was lovely and clean. Thanks for a great stay

Lovely clean rooms and wonderful bathroom and shower! The staff were so helpful especially the receptionist Kate, she was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were nice and cosy and wonderful hotel if you need a place to stay, I highly recommend this hotel!

Friendly staff, clean rooms and comfortable bed, rooms extremely warm no air con but there is a fan. Staff were very warm, friendly and welcoming. Beefeater next door where you can have a meal and can book breakfast though the hotel. Lovely breakfast if I wanted to be picky could do with proper butter and not the vegetable spread, spolit my toast!

  • 4/5 Nicola G. 2 years ago on Google
Lovely staff, so friendly. Rooms as expected, quite bright street lights and noisy taffic if you have a room on facing the road, and the curtains don't really block it. But ideal if you are attending an event at Heaton Park and the all you can eat breakfast Beefeater next door is delicious.

Awful hotel with inadequate ventilation that makes it unbearably hot in the room. We were aware before arriving that the hotel did not have air conditioning, but we didn't expect it to be 26 degrees in the room when it was only 15 degrees outside! We'd booked a two night stay but after getting no sleep due to the heat on the first night we had to check out early as we couldn't face a second night. Tried to raise the issue with the hotel staff before we left, but the reception was empty and there was no-one to be seen. Raised the issue with their central customer service when we got home, but they refused to refund anything under their supposed Good Night Sleep Guarantee as we were aware the hotel didn't have air conditioning. They simply wouldn't accept that guests still expect a basic degree of ventilation, and the room shouldn't be 11 degrees hotter than the outside temperature! I certainly won't be staying here again, and it has made me very wary of staying with Premier Inn again at all. I definitely recommend that people avoid this hotel!

Stayed here for just one night with my family. The room was uncomfortably hot. It was about 19⁰ outside, but was 26.5⁰ all night in the room. A fan was provided but it didn't help. Didn't sleep at all well due to heat and the very noisy road (which was louder as I needed to keep the window open). The staff were really lovely, and the breakfast was great value, especially as kids eat free with a full paying adult. The room itself was ok. Bit of a musty smell and odd yellow stains on the bathroom floor, but I wasn't too bothered about that - it had obviously been cleaned. I still like premier inn, but will always check for rooms with air conditioning for future bookings.

Good hotel not too far from Bowker Vale Metro stop. Easy links to the city centre centre further afield. Friendly helpful staff, very clean.

Stayed here for one night, rooms were lovely and clean, everything was fresh, and the lady named Mary on the front desk was so nice, only thing that let the place down was my room which was really warm was on the front of the hotel which is on a main road at a set of traffic lights so when i had the window open it was really noisy from the traffic outside and this was really early in the morning as well as most of the night. I would stay here again but ask for a room at the back of the hotel where its much more quiet.

Staff ..very friendly and helpful. Room ..recently updated, very clean, comfortable and very quiet (couldn't hear any noise from other rooms, double glazing keeps traffic noise out too). Short walk to metro to get into Manchester. Would return, a very pleasant overnight stay. Thank you.

The staff have been INCREDIBLE! Thanks to Mary for going out of her way to get me a honey and lemon drink for my very sore throat! The hotel room was spotless and comfortable! Thank you so much!

Boiling hot stay. Mary on reception was awesome. Breakfast disappointing ..no veggie options despite the server letting us order them, they then messed up orders. So busy in the restaurant (British Gas training day I think) Not enough competent staff to serve the volume of guests.

There was some confusion at the reception regarding our booking but in the end I worked it out okay and had to explain to the girl there of what happened/why in the system is this and this etc. Really hard to order form the restaurant ended up ordering from Just Eat. Overall it was a nice stay. Next time will definitely request to be far from the stairs as we had a lot of noise disturbances.

Beds reall nice and everything worked as it should. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Till next time thanks

Yet again we had an excellent time at this hotel. Only wish they would install air conditioning πŸ™„ as rooms were 29.5 degrees in our room and the fan πŸ™„ was doing nothing but blowing hot air about lol. With Heaton Park just across the road what a park for families fantastic. Our grand kids absolutely loved it again. It's also in a great location for accessing the city. Food was great as usual πŸ˜‹ as are prices. They do dinner and breakfast deals which is great value for families

Stayed here several times as its a good spot for Prestwich when I'm visiting family. Got everything we need for a busy visit, no frills required and if you book well ahead youncan bag a room for under 50 quid. Pub next door does the breakfast, self serve, with outside seating. Large free car park, or 10 mins walk from the Metrolink station which will have you in Manchester City centre in under 10 mins.

The lady on reception who booked us in was fantastic, told us how to get to the AO arena on the tram, a very warm welcome. Free parking for the duration of our stay. Only issue was that the wifi did not work in our room (no big deal as the 5G signal was excellent), our room showed signs of water damage to the floor, as there was quite a depression just outside the toilet. All in all, I would stay here again if we are ever in Manchester.

Our stay was lovely, great location as it's close to tram station and bus stops to take you into the city. Opposite a beautiful park and surrounded by lovely pubs and food places. The room was great, it was tidy and the beds were heaven!! The shower was the best bit, I didn't want to leave! Staff are friendly at all hours and we had no disturbances :) will stay again!

Hotel wasn't too bad especially for the price, it was pretty loud and hard to get to sleep. The room was clean and suitable for a couple of nights. The breakfast was good but shame they didn't have chopped tomatoes. The general area is a little run down however there was no problems and on a good bus route into town, Day pass for the bus is Β£5 pp

  • 4/5 Jon P. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms were basic but standard for a premier Inn. The room was really hot, the windows open a tiny bit to cool you down but the heating then kicks in to compensate and cannot be turned down. The fan in our room was also faulty so that didn't help. The TV was also acting up by not showing the guide, freezing up and sometimes turning off by itself. The signal on the TV also wasn't great. You kind-of get 5g but it's not that strong. Premier Inn WiFi is generally not amazing unless you upgrade. The floorboards above our room were thin and creaky so you could really hear people walking around upstairs. You're a short bus ride from Manchester City Centre and you're close to a few useful things like a superstore and a petrol station. The restaurant is right next door. It's good prices, especially if you go for the meal deal (a 3 course meal was Β£18.50 pp). The restaurant staff were friendly and the food was fairly prompt but when attending breakfast at 9 we had to wait about 10 mins for the hot food to be ready. Overall, despite the above issues, it was nice and I'd stay here again.

Amazing hotel. We had a 1 night stay to attend a concert at the AO arena (m.e.n) and it was fabulous the room was super comfy and loved the large fan in the room which was a nice touch. The bathroom was clean and tidy and had all the accessories we needed like soap shampoos etc. Also was awesome that there was a thermostat in the room to turn the temperature down at night as me and my wife love a cool room when sleeping. The staff was super helpful and even managed to check in 1 hour early as we needed to get ready to head to the arena for the concert. I honestly can't find a single fault with this hotel and I'm super picky. Cant wait for our next visit in January 2023πŸ™‚

Staff were amazing, very kind and friendly. My room was very clean and comfortable. I stayed 2 nights and it was the most comfortable stay I’ve ever had in a hotel. Would highly recommend this place to everyone looking for accommodation. 5 stars for stay, cleanliness, customer service, overall rating.

The hotel itself was clean and tidy and all staff were friendly. I would not have the breakfast again. Nothing was hot it was either cold or just warm, even a latte from the machine was just warm. The continental side of the breakfast had little choice. The two staff in the bar seemed to be rushing around just to keep it clean.
