Fantastic location right in the centre of the city. Quirky hotel full of unique details. Large comfy beds clean bedding spotless room. (Bathroom could do with updating a little but really nothing to moan about). Plenty of fluffy towels - hot water - tea/coffee making facilities. Large tv in room - iron/ironing board - hair dryer. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived and offered directions etc to various attractions. Even though the hotel is central we slept really well with no outside noise being heard. Perfect location would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Stayed a few times and always very helpful and polite staff. They were able to reacommodateme into another room when the one I was originally assigned to did not fit my needs. The staff at breakfast were very attentive. Spacious rooms with all the standard things you would expect. The bedding was great quality which helped ensure a good night sleep

My five stars is given for the all amazing customer service I received. From front desk, concierge service, restaurant " Ollie" incredible! Just like in the old days. Youth today leave lots to be desired with customer service. Not this young man, Ollie! Even the room service lady who was so caring and thoughtful. Sorry I forgot her name😓 Now the hotel is completely dated! I would have stayed longer but honestly, that decoration is disturbing. Location is also good.

Having booked a number of times I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Well situated in the centre with parking underneath. It's great for any shopping trip to the centre or a night out. This time we had a family room. Great comfy beds plenty of space. The breakfast is amazing.

Excellent hotel, staff and service. We have stayed here many times before and the hotel gets better each time. The staff are friendly and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure your stay is a happy one. Our room was spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. Facilities in the room are as expected for this standard of hotel, with good quality tea, coffee and biscuits. We had a drink in the bar which we found relaxing and stylish, and ate a great breakfast in the morning which was served until 11am on a Saturday. Checkout was a very convenient 12pm. Car Parking is located right under the hotel so no need to even go outside. Although the cost of the car park feels high at £18 for 24 hours, this is average for a city centre hotel and at least the car is safe and secure. Top marks once again, Thanks Renaissance we will be back.

A great location close to Victoria station, the main shopping areas. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Despite being in the centre the rooms were quiet bar some lift noise (and the hen night returning at 2 am). Rooms do need some attention with the bathrooms in particular being very tired.

Looks old on the outside but inside definitely makes up for it! Friendly staff! Great size rooms with really comfy beds! Plenty of water pressure in the shower and the water is red hot!!! Very clean throughout the whole room! Air con works well with a heating and cool setting too! Sadly I didn't sample the breakfast but it looked good!!

Great hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Upgraded to a club room which was very spacious, great for 3 ladies trying to get ready for a night out. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom clean. Tea and coffee etc with nespresso machine. Robes and slippers. Breakfast in the morning was lovely. Great choice of cereals, pastries breads, cold meat, fresh fruit, bacon cooked well done and lots of choice for cooked breakfast. Location is perfect with the Arena , Victoria Station and print works etc all within 5 - 10 minute stroll..

When we arrived, there was only a little poster indicating where the car park was. There is no information about this on the booking information. The car park is very small and is a struggle for larger cars. The hotel itself was very nice. The corridors to the rooms look very prison style but the room itself was lovely. The bed was very comfy and it was very clean. The only thing i would say was that there was an unpleasant smell from the bathroom and the bed sheets did not cover the bed properly. We had breakfast in the morning which was lovely. A large selection of bakery, cooked breakfast and cereals. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

A really lovely hotel. The room was huge, beautifully set out and immaculate. Just when I thought it couldn’t get better my girlfriend added to the ambiance by vomiting in the sink. The bar area was lovely, spacious and well staffed. The staff throughout our stay were excellent.

Great hotel. The outside is deceiving. It's beautifully decorated inside. The bed was very comfortable. The decor in the rooms was very aesthetically pleasing, although in the case of the seats and sofas I think it was style over comfort. They weren't very comfortable, more suited to a lobby instead of the hotel room where I intend to relax. Staff were friendly

Great hotel! The staff was very welcoming & extremely helpful. Always willing to answer any questions and give suggestions on places to visit in the area. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were a nice size. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because the bed wasn't the most comfortable. Other than that I would highly recommend staying here.

Very good hotel in general, the rooms come clean and stocked with basic amenities. The view could have been better but that's what I paid for. The food served was delicious, a standard buffet style dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overall a very good hotel to stay in and well worth the money.

We were attending the Renaissance for a training conference - the facilities were lovely, very clean, spacious, and the staff were excellent. The catering wasn't to my taste, but well presented and plentiful. Despite so many being cooped up there for nine hours, it was comfortable!

Had a great stay here, very central to everything. Staff very helpful and friendly. Very comfortable and clean. Left new hair straighteners in room and the hotel forwarded them on to me in Ireland free of charge. We will definitely stay there again.
