Stayed
here
for
one
night
(UNFORTUNATELY)
and
stupidly
misplaced
my
hair
straighteners,
however
as
we
were
leaving
the
room,
I
remember
the
house
keeper
was
entering
so
I
thought
there
would
be
a
strong
possibility
of
recovering
them.
I
called
the
hotel
the
same
day
a
few
hours
after
realising,
and
the
gentleman
who
was
on
reception
said
he
would
call
back
after
checking
with
house
keeping.
Granted,
he
called
and
left
a
message
saying
there
was
no
sign
of
the
straighteners,
but
offered
no
explanation
or
findings
from
his
āinvestigation,ā
so
I
tried
calling
the
hotel
back.
I
called
from
6:50pm-8:20pm
leaving
5
calls
and
not
one
was
answered!
Hard
to
believe
that
on
a
Saturday
evening
not
one
member
of
staff
is
available
to
answer
the
reception
telephone.
Anyway,
I
then
had
the
inconvenience
of
calling
back
AGAIN
the
following
morning
and
was
answered
by
Sandra.
I
explained
my
situation,
she
then
got
the
complete
WRONG
room
number
and
WRONG
client
name!
Very,
very
unprofessional!
I
then
corrected
her
with
the
room
number
and
name,
and
explained
the
situation
AGAIN!
She
then
went
on
to
say
āit
was
my
word
against
the
house
keepers
wordā-
VERY
UNPROFESSIONAL!
Who
blames
their
own
client
and
questions
their
credibility?
Why
would
I
be
wasting
my
time
repeatedly
calling
if
I
was
not
missing
something?
After
much
frustration,
I
asked
to
speak
to
the
duty
manager,
to
which
I
was
told
there
was
not
one
manager
on
all
weekend,
and
that
I
should
ring
back
tomorrow
in
the
afternoon.
AVOID
THIS
HOTEL
AT
ALL
COSTS!
Doesnāt
it
say
something
when
youāve
called
numerous
times
to
be
ignored,
for
front
of
house
staff
to
get
the
complete
WRONG
client
name
and
room
number
and
then
accuse
you
of
being
a
liar?
Disgusting,
unprofessional
service
all
round!
Not
only
this,
but
the
hostel,
sorry
*hotel,*
itself
was
terrible!
The
furnishings
are
tatty
and
dirty-
as
soon
as
you
walk
in
reception
you
will
be
greeted
by
worn
and
torn
chairs.
The
hotel
rooms
themselves
are
small
and
pokey,
very
basic
and
do
not
even
offer
milk
sachets
to
accompany
tea-
never
mind
a
fridge
or
a
place
to
store
clothing!
To
put
it
into
content,
the
hair
straighteners,
which
in
my
opinion
were
stolen,
are
valued
more
than
the
hotelās
nightly
rate,
take
that
as
you
wish!
How
frustrating
that
a
stay
cost
double
the
price,
due
to
the
minimum
wage
cleaners
(in
my
opinion)
stealing
belongingsā¦.
DISGUSTING-
AVOID!
If
you
are
after
a
classy,
wholesome
hotel
stay,
where
your
belongings
will
not
be
subject
to
,in
my
opinion,
theft,
visit
the
gotham.
