Unfortunately we did not have a great experience at this hotel. We started in a room at the top floor which, due to very poor AC, gradually got uncomfortably warm. The room itself was decent and the bathroom clean and pretty big. We moved to another room which smelled very strongly of sweat and spicy food. While the room itself looked clean, the smell was very unpleasant. The AC did not work well in this room either and not being able to open the window (I guess for understandable safety reasons) made for a very uncomfortable, sticky night. The fact that the AC did not work in either room must mean that it doesn’t function well anywhere in the hotel and this needs investment. Despite that, the reception were very friendly and helpful and the customer service when we raised issues was very good. Pros: location is unbeatable, the breakfast was decent, the shampoo and shower gel are good quality, the kitchenette in the bedroom is well equipped Cons: the AC did not work well in either room, it did not feel clean, the bathroom in the second room was no better than a basic hotel and the decor of the common areas and bedroom is a bit tacky (uncomfortable leather white sofas in the bedroom)

Serviced apartments in city-centre location: very effective sound insulation so little external noise despite being on a bus road and surrounded by pubs and restaurants. Comfortably furnished, very clean & everything works, but I think the format could be improved: better quality crockery and kitchen equipment; a few cushions on the settee etc. But a good place to stay and value for money compared with what you get in a hotel for the same price. Roomzz provide a free breakfast downstairs: cereals; porridge; fruit; pastries; fruit juice.

Stayed here for a hen do as part of a package. We were a group of ten with six visually impaired people the staff were amazing from helping us to our room when we first arrived to delivering breakfast to our rooms. The rooms were a fantastic size and the facilities were brilliant. the coffee and tea facilities in reception were also a hit.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we loved it! Room was superior with bath & tv! Very modern! Was incredibly big, bigger than looks on the photos! Check- In 3pm early check-In available from 1pm for extra £10. Very helpful and understanding 24hour staff! Lovely and tasty breakfast! Worth the price! Got off booking.com.

Great option in Manchester. Located within walking distance of Chinatown, restaurants, & pubs. Very close to the Piccadilly train station too. Room was spacious and well appointed. Great value.

Such a beautiful, historic (and modern) hotel! The hotel is Located within the Corn Exchange, giving immediate access to so many cool restaurants. I was upgraded to the incredible Guinea Suite! My suite was sooo quiet, no sound intrusion from other guests or street noise. I was only there for one night but I would definitely stay here again. When in Manchester, book here!!!

Great place to stay in Central Manchester. Clean rooms, good service and comes with a well equipped kitchenette. Will put this on my go to list from now on. Only one downside was that if you want the discounted parking from Q park you have to book ahead, but a minor quirk.

As a woman travelling on her own, loved this place, the receptionists Dania & Ali made me feel so at ease, check in was super smooth and when I spoke to them about being in the safest room they put me right near reception and security. Super coool staff. Room was lush, super clean and HUGE , pics don’t do it justice. White company toiletries also! Bed was super comfy , very happy! Thankyou!

Nice big rooms. Be careful of the LG rooms as they have no window. Location is across from Chinatown and close to the gay village but general city centre spot.

This aparthotel located near the city center with easy access of transportation and restaurant. The service is nice. My room was cleaned every day. The receptionist Rajaa was really helpful and information to help me during my stay here. I would be back here for my next stay if possible.

Lovely aparthotel situated near the Gay Village. I stayed in a spacious superior room, which looked out over the road. There is a q Park car park right next door. The only downside is the traffic noise 24 hours a day as it's on a busy junction, not Good if you're a light sleeper. They tell me that they do have quieter rooms and to just mention it when booking.

I was only here for one night but it was really nice and I would have happily stayed longer. I was in the room at ground level with a bed right behind the obsolete "Bank" doors on the street. It was far quieter than I was expecting - There were a few items deposited on the outside window ledge in the morning but I had slept peacefully through whatever shenanigans had taken place out there. In the morning before I left, I opened the shutters while I packed up and had a lovely view of Manchester waking up along Portland Street which suited me. The breakfast was underwhelming but with the well-equipped kitchenette in the room, if I'd been staying a bit longer I would have easily solved that problem. A vegan colleague stayed in the same hotel and was grateful that they had control over their ability to eat something if the options on our business trip were underwhelming.

Great hotel, clean and tidy! The lady on reception upgraded my room and it was so lovely. I will definitely be staying here again for when I’m working Manchester!

Stayed here for two nights. Initial impressions were great, staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room was stunning - a large living space with a spiral staircase up to the bedroom. However, this was one of the most uncomfortable hotels stays I've had. The first thing we noticed was how warm the room was, with no openable windows and no obvious way to cool it. There was a fan provided which we hoped might disperse the heat, however it seemed to have been taken from a Boeing 737 engine and was so unpleasantly loud, even on the lowest setting. Sleeping was made even more difficult by the small crevasse that had formed in the middle of the mattress. I've slept on week-old air mattresses that didn't sag as much. Another sore point was that while we were delighted by having three TVs in the apartment, why each remote was covered in a disposable plastic cover is beyond our comprehension. Surely in this day and age you can promote high levels of hygiene without killing the planet in the process. This was further emphasised when we came back from a day out to find the dishwasher had been put on with a single glass inside. A whole dishwasher cycle for one glass. In what world does that seem like a logical thing to do? Despite the great location, I will not be staying in a Roomzzz hotel again anytime soon, and would wish for the management to have a think about the environmental impact of excessive heating, single-use plastic and ridiculous dishwashing.

An absolute gem of a hotel tucked right in the center of Manchester. The staff were absolutely brilliant, attentive and helpful for all sorts of enquiries. The room was clean, tidy, full of features you wouldnt expect from such a room and the bed comfortable as can be. I would love to come back here again.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel, having never stayed in a studio style room I was impressed with the kitchenette. Having a fridge and dishwasher, along with proper cups, pans and glasses is a welcome treat. The room was spacious, bed was comfy and shower powerful and warm. I was on the lower ground in January so didn't feel like I was missing out on daylight but in a warmer month I might feel a little deprived of vitamin D. Staff were all super friendly and the room was clean. I didn't realise breakfast was included, so I cancelled my breakfast reservation at a nearby cafe when I arrived. Unfortunately I found it was a sad 'buffet' of pastries and fruit. I I had to wait for hot items as they weren't cooked yet, which is inconvenient when you're traveling for business. There were no savoury options and the coffee machine was mediocre. I loved the room and would stay again, but would definitely skip the breakfast.

I couldnt believe how spacious our room was.....living space, bathroom and small kitchen. We had a corner room. The location was perfect and even with street views, it was very quiet. Would definitely recommend.

Overall a great room with good amenities especially for a long stay. Only issue is there are rooms on the LG floor which means the rooms do not have access to natural light which is a shame as you can't really stay in the room for too long.

Extremely impressed with our room. Quiet, super comfortable and tons of space. The location was great for us as we had a bus ride the next day and the station is only a 5 minute walk away. Just wish the beds were a bit more comfortable.

I was amazed at the room size and standard of this aparthotel! It was brilliant and I didn't even stay in one of the larger corner suites! The room was spotless and the staff were great. I was only there for one night so made use of the toaster and tea facilities. I've booked for 5 nights next time and I'm looking forward to making food rather than relying on take aways etc. Highly recommend. Edit: June 2022. Stayed for a longer stay and think this is a great place to have as a base for exploring the city. Although there are so many amazing places to eat and grab coffee I've hardly used the kitchen.

Nice room but asked for high room and a quiet room. Got a ground level room on junction of Portland street, really noisy and found the shower in middle of the room a little odd

Spent a night there....right on the street but quite enough. Free breakfast. Loved the ambience and the idea of a kitchen. Will definitely go back again.

Had a one night stay at Roomzzz Manchester after a concert recently. I had a mixed review about this branch of Roomzzz as I've visited a few before as generally they're impressive for the price you pay. The staff and service at this particular one is good, they're friendly and they'll help keep your bags at any time, happy to recommend places on the area and just overall pleasant to deal with. I booked the loft room which is one of the more expensive rooms. I now wish I hadn't.. The room has it's air con unit near the door downstairs so the downstairs stays nice and cool, but upstairs where you sleep is ridiculously warm, they provide a fan as they know this but it's simply not a pleasant place to sleep. I couldn't physically spend more nights in a room such as this. No windows open so it's pure air con to cool the downstairs area. One main issue I had was the lack of cleanliness, and I've seen this at a couple of Roomzzz branches now. The glass surfaces are always full of fingermarks, easily fixed with glass cleaner so why not have that as part of the cleaning process? Theres dust on every surface higher than eye level so for anyone taller than the cleaner you end up seeing it everywhere. The bathroom was a type of wet room but so poorly designed it nearly flooded the bathroom and didn't drain properly and couldn't dry efficiently so you end up with water all over. No towel rails so your towels were always wet through. No smoke detector in my room, surely a safety hazard? Dishwasher tablet holder was broken so none of the crockery or cutlery can be getting cleaned properly.. There is chips and scrapes on everything resulting in the room looking so tired out, it's just not a nice place to spend your time, there's so many chipped surfaces and cracks it just looks battered. Overall I enjoyed the concept of the room but it was so badly executed and the cleaning situation needs sorting out. This is disappointing as the service from the reception staff is the opposite of negative. I wouldn't be returning back here based on my visit.

Such a pleasure to stay here. The rooms are amazing, have a beautiful modern design and are very functional. I have stayed at Roomzzzz Aparthotel in several cities and wherever I go, their team is super helpful and extremely nice. I would highly recommend!
