I
was
unable
to
get
anywhere
else
to
stay
that
was
cheaper
and
I
began
to
have
my
reservations
after
stupidly
only
reading
the
reviews
after
I'd
paid.
I
paid
around
£600
for
a
20
night
stay
if
I
recall
correctly.
Overall,
I
had
a
good
stay
and
if
it
hadn't
been
for
the
comparatively
low
price,
I'd
have
had
nowhere
else
to
go.
The
guy
and
his
wife
who
own
and
run
the
place
were
friendly,
very
helpful
and
I
was
changed
to
a
larger
room
upon
arrival
for
no
extra
cost
which
was
a
lovely
surprise.
This
will
be
quite
long
if
I
don't
put
it
in
list
format:
GOOD
-
-Comparatively
low
price,
-Large
shared
CLEAN
shower/bathroom
area,
-Shared
microwave
and
fridge,
-Community
feel,
-Decent
TV
in
the
room,
-Sink
and
mirror
in
the
room,
-Free
towel
and
bedding
change
whenever
requested,
-Free
bin
emptying
and
room
cleaning
service
whenever
requested,
-Free
tea
and
coffee
service
provided,
-Mosquito
nets
over
the
windows
and
little
light
entering
through
from
streetlamps
which
meant
sleep
was
good.
-Noise-free
policy
which
meant
guests
can
get
sleep.
BAD-
-A
fridge
and
microwave
were
provided,
but
no
cooker?
This
means
guests
have
to
spend
a
fortune
eating
out
every
day
or
are
reduced
to
microwave
meals.
Surely
a
working
shared
cooker
wouldn't
be
too
hard
to
provide?
-The
ground
floor
stank
of
smoke
despite
the
multiple
no
smoking
signs.
Hypocrites!
-NO
STORAGE
in
the
bedrooms
which
is
completely
unacceptable.
Where
the
hell
are
guests
meant
to
put
their
clothes
for
longer
stays??
-The
heating
was
CONSTANTLY
on
full
EVEN
DURING
A
HEATWAVE
which
is
ridiculous
-Tumble
drier
and
washing
machine
were
provided
but
the
water
piping
was
just
lying
disconnected
on
the
floor
and
there
was
no
power
outlet
to
plug
them
into.
Why
provide
them
if
they
can't
actually
be
used?
-Bed
sheets
were
too
large
for
the
bed
so
they
kept
coming
off
as
they
weren't
taught.
-No
parking,
but
that
can't
be
helped
given
the
city
location.
-Desk
wobbled
and
was
badly
stained
and
torn
which
rendered
it
almost
useless.
-Bedroom
doors
didn't
feel
at
all
secure
and
were
accessible
via
a
KEY
as
opposed
to
a
much
safer
KEYCARD.
-Lift
is
permanently
out
of
order.
-Mouse
in
Room
204
which
eats
your
food
and
there's
nowhere
else
to
put
non-perishables.
Could
also
expose
you
to
dangerous
diseases
such
as
leptospirosis
-When
leaving,
nobody
takes
the
key
from
you;
you
just
deposit
it
in
a
box.
In
terms
of
the
legal
implications,
this
is
very
risky.
*Overall*
-
If
you're
just
looking
for
somewhere
safe
to
sleep
at
night
because
there's
nowhere
else,
then
this
place
is
a
great
option
and
I'd
use
it
again
under
those
circumstances.
But
if
you're
looking
for
decent
accommodation
to
stay
in,
say
for
a
holiday,
and
especially
if
you
are
travelling
as
a
family
-
go
elsewhere
if
you
have
the
money.
