Very dirty๏ผWhen I opened the bath towel, it was very dirty and wet. I don't want to take a shower when I see the bathtub. The toilet paper has been used up and has not been replaced. There is no body soap, shampoo and hand sanitiser in the bathroom.

We travelled here from Birmingham as my partner had a family funeral close by so we booked this place to stay for a few nights.. Glad we chose Luther King House. The family and I had a pleasant stay and would definitely recommend.. The staff were lovely and welcoming.. Easy to check in. Rooms were lovely and clean.. Just abit hot as no air con.. However they supply electric fans to use free of charge.. What a nice touch.. And also supply irons/ironing boards so no need to bulk your case with yours from home.. There's a huge library on site and the grounds are kept lovely too. There is plenty of parking space around the front and back of hotel which is also free.. Bonus. Continental breakfast was included in room price.. Very good value for money. Thank you we had a lovely stay

This was our second time staying at Martin Luther House, and like last time, it was great value for money and we felt very safe and comfortable there. Rooms are quiet, and most of them look out over a nice courtyard with a small fountain and lots of greenery. In room facilities include a kettle and free coffee, tea, milk and biscuits. Breakfast is amazing, with the most delicious chocolate muffins, croissants, ham, cheese, toast, fruit, yogurt, cereals and coffee and tea. We loved talking to Martin, who serves breakfast, all about the local history of Burnage and Rusholme. He is such an asset to the hotel and always makes you feel looked after and happy! Almost everything about our stay was perfect, with the only minor faults being that our room wasn't supplied with fresh towels or toilet rolls on a couple of occasions. Overall, highly recommended!

Quiet friendly hotel with rooms at very reasonable prices. The rooms are comfortable with wifi shower telephone and tv. Breakfast was varied and how much you eat and drink very much leftcto you. Plenty of parking and access to the nearby Platt Fields park. There!is!a bar and a quad almost a cloister, a library and other facilities about which I have no details.

Staff very polite and lovely . Bed comfy and clean . Bfast very tasty . Was a sleepless night unfortunately for us with all noises coming from other rooms and people closing the door. It's very dated place would be stunning when refurbished. Loved court yard.

Free breakfast served which is fantastic as well, plenty of variety with tea and coffee. Rooms could have been a bit better, there's sometimes mold inside the bathrooms, otherwise clean and tidy. Staff is courteous and polite. Parking and reading room/Libra available

Nestled in tree strewn gardens and an old Theological College, we found our place to stay. Initially I must say I was unsure, even though reviews are very strong, I was holding back reservations, to which in hindsight now I should have never done. Exceptionally good value for money, the staff were so helpful, engaging, friendly and happy to oblige. The en-suite twin, turned out to be a double and a single, perfect. Cleanliness is at the forefront of their agenda as the room was spotless, roomy bathroom with an excellent shower which is key for me. Breakfast was advertised as continental, however it was that and much more. In essence it is in the low-budget arena but far exceeded my expectations. Small bar to boot where prices are very reasonable. Keep up the great work and thanks everyone for a great 6 days, plus itโ€™s just around the corner from the Curry Mile. X ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š

Very basic but clean. Take your own towels as these are not provided. Short walk to town or there's a bus. Breakfast had a good range and the muffins were delicious.

I can't say why I decided to choose this place, rather than city centre. And it's not even cheaper that cc. So it's not money. Yes rooms are basic. Double bed that's rather short. I'm 6'1 and I had my legs sticking out. Telly was but it ain't smart telly. But then you going to hotel to sleep not to watch telly. Shower and toilet where clean and that's that. They did what they where design to do. And did that well. Breakfast? Never had continental breakfast before and this one is good. What I'm saying? Amazing! You have basic breakfast you can imagine. Porridge, you can have toast (two types of bread) and jam and butter and croissant and jogurt and berry fruits. And peach and pear. Oh and hard boiled egs. Take as much as you want. You can not get it more simple. And then it's coffee. Where its good it's served in jugs that came probably from Life on Mars TV series. From the 70s. And I love it! It serves the purpose. Why make it more complicated?! Oh and two lovely fellas serving in kitchen. Ask any of them for a map of local attractions. And what to do? Enjoy in lounge after breakfast. Sofa (few sofas really) are comfortable and good to sit. Or go to the garden. Sit there, watch squirrels or if you got some nust share with them. And a small fountain in the middle that was my soundtrack to fall asleep. And library. Or to be precise Christian library. With books about bible, apostols, teaching of bible, how to read bible and what meanings are. Great place to lost yourself there, discovering new and unknown. And then you can go for a walk. As this hotel is not far from asian / Muslim street where there are many many places to eat. To buy new food. To discover something you haven't seen. And if you get bored, buses are every few minutes with less than 5 minutes walk from hotel to bus stop. Yes, bed was squicky. So when / if you are feeling romantic at night... Neighbours will hear you for sure. Yes lift could be useful for some. And carpets could be replaced. But you know what? I felt sorry I have to go. I felt like I'm loosing my good mate. This place was more then hotel. It was my safe heaven from which I went out to discover something new every day. And then I get back, to nice and clean place. Place I will choose again knowing I could get cheaper hotels closer to city centre. But those places didn't have that spiritual feeling.

This place is pretty nice and convenient. The hotel has worship service facility and library. So if you want to take part in worship service and want to read books or study, you can use. It is quite easily accessible from Manchester city centre on the bus. There is also a tiny and greener garden so you can brace and take a break. TV, desk, bed and chair in a single room was cozy and appropriately big for me. The power of water in bathroom and toilet were enough to use. Towels are offered, hair-dryer is what you can ask on the front desk. Toiletries are what you need to bring. If you want to leave hotel ealier for your travelling or check out, 1 day ago, you can ask to pack free breakfast then they will prepare for you. Breakfast buffet was nice. Porridge, muffins, breads, ham, cheese, tea, black coffee and yogurts and so on are there. A male chef was very accommodating and other staff members are friendly.

The room was clean and well equipped with kettle, TV towels and toiletries. The buffet breakfast was tasty and welcome. The staff friendly and helpful. The building was in its own grounds which were secluded and peaceful.

Grounds are kept to a very high standard and are a pleasure to enjoy. Staff are friendly and helpful, and seem reasonably relaxed. The rooms are clean and reasonably kept with a TV, kettle and the usual amenities but they are rather basic and show signs for wear and age, could do with a repaint in areas and in suits are in need of a fix up to cover rust and wear. All in all. A very reasonable price for what you get and a nice place to bed, clean standard rooms just a little dated.

Can't fault this place. They allowed us to park the car in the morning of our check in so we could jump on a bus into town. So much better than parking in the City centre. We had a family room which was more than adequate for our needs. The only downsize was the TV wasn't the biggest and couldn't be seen from the main bed. However our little one had a great view from her bed. Located in a quiet street it's only a short walk to bus routes and shops and restaurants. The grounds are well maintained and the courtyard garden a peaceful haven. Breakfast is simple. Pastries, cereals, toast and yoghurt with a few extras. Yes OK everything is quite basic but it's not pretending to be any different. If I were to visit Manchester again I would be more than happy to stay here again.

Rooms in desperate need of refurbishment and looking tired. Really friendly staff who were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is continental and is well served and prepared. This is a budget hotel and should be viewed as such.

Friendly, and affordable. There's a receptionist on, overnight, which helped me; as I arrived at 4:20 am, after an overnight coach from Glasgow. Chef was great to chat to. Plus, it's close to the bus service from Fallowfield.

Cheap and cheerful BnB. Definitely dated in places and needs the rooms need some modernising but does the job for a weekend away close to fallowfield, platt fields park, the curry mile and an short bus ride or Uber into the city centre. Staff were all friendly and polite and the immediate area is actually really quiet considering the location.

It was a lovely stay on Thursday the 21st. When we entered the hotel a kind welcoming gentleman greeted us in n was so professional doing his job. Lately we don't find people who are passionate but this person was. Later that day a lovely lady at reception was helpful. Recommend this hotel stay. Pink garden at the back was the highlight.

This is a Theological College, first and foremost and as such the rooms are small with extremely basic facilities. Continental is included breakfast offered. The staff are very welcoming.

The room was ok but clean. I will say the walls need some paint. The good thing was that was very silent and I Could sleep great. It is in a very calm road and very close to a beautiful park. Also it has good connection with the city centre and airport. Buses are close by. The staff was very kind and help me to find the place were I have my conference printing me a map. She also gave me indications to.find a supermarket or to find restaurants nearby. The breakfast was very nice with plenty of choices and quantity. Overall, the experience was pleasant.

I believe this place is still a up and running Theology school which rents out some of their rooms on Booking.Com Place is in a quiet location, nicely set out, nice grounds, nice place to chill out, itโ€™s a peaceful place to stay at. Cost of my room was ยฃ45 for one night which included continental breakfast, amazing price and worth every penny. Secure free car park, room had basic amenities, good hot shower, free tea and coffee and a comfy bed to sleep in. Room was a bit tired but that didnโ€™t bother me. Would recommend a stay here.

I spent two nights there on a solo trip. The hotel is located in a well connected area, close to city centre( 15-18 mins by bus), and there's also a direct bus from and to the airport, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room had a kettle, coffee and tea, a soap and a shower gel/ shampoo. The only drawback was the room. The room was quite old and not well maintained. It could be a good option if you are looking for a cheaper option for a weekend or so. The rate included breakfast, but I didn't have the chance to try it.

The location of this hotel is perfect. It is very close to the famous Wilmslow road, which is famous for the Asian food options. It has a library on site, which was a new thing for me. The room space was enough with all the facilities but it wasn't what I was expecting. The garden in the middle is beautiful.

Absolutely not the best. The room we were given had many issues. Floor cleaned in the middle only. Window had a do not open sign on it. We wonder how long that had been there? Very strange ceiling in the room, would not like to say what material it was clad with? Absolutely No sound proofing. Breakfast Chefs were very chatty and seemed very friendly as did most of the reception staff. Although reasonably priced the rooms need updating urgently.

Stayed here several times while in Manchester. Rooms are always clean and staff helpful. Great breakfast and easy bus route to town. It's a budget place I suppose but I've paid a lot more to stay in worse places. They have a lovely garden too .

Good value for money. Definitely the best hotel I've stayed in in Manchester for that amount of money. My room was quite big, the staff was super nice and friendly. I also loved having breakfast there, you can choose between so many different things, sweet and savoury. I'll definitely come back if I ever end up in Manchester again!

A perfect place for a budget stay close to the city center. Cozy rooms with everything that you need. A filling breakfast included in the cost paid and a half an hour of a walk away from the city center. There are plenty of restaurants and stores close by and a beautiful garden across the road. I had booked this place as a contingency placeholder for a short stay, but ended up extending the stay for 8 nights. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is on a fixed budget and wants to stay close to the city.
