Myself and my partner had a lovely stay and while we were there we couldn’t criticize it at all. The rooms were spacious, clean, food delicious and pool to die for. The only problem was unfortunately I left my lamb teddy bear under the duvet when we left and only realized on the train home. I knew she was 100% under the duvet in the room so decided it was best to contact the hotel and arrange to either pick it up or pay whatever shipping fees were required to get her back. Unfortunately after contacting the hotel it hasn’t been found. I may have possibly contacted too soon and she was still in the washing machine but I haven’t been contacted since so maybe I’m wishfully thinking. I felt very invaluable as a customer and upset as it was given to me as a gift. I’d be delighted if she has since been found if I could be contacted so it can be retrieved. So to whom this may concern if you do find it I’d be very grateful and will rectify my review to five stars.

Beautiful hotel located in a great location in Manchester. The decor is stunning and the staff were helpful, friendly and smiley. The bar had a wonderful range of cocktails of which some can be made vegan 🙌🏻 Highly recommend a stay or visit here. We also did the hidden cinema that they have and it was fantastic.

This is advertised as a 4 star Hotel. Its not! The Lift is small, and doubles as a service lift. So long waits. The quality of the food for room service is terrible. Using poor quality ingredients, we got a cut price loaf, for a sandwich no presentation with it, was vastly overpriced, it took 45 minutes to get there. The room was tiny, but was very clean. No full length dress mirror, just one half way up the wall, not good for lady who likes to sot down to get ready. But TV needed constantly resetting after use. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work. And cigarette smoke wafts through the ventilation ducts. Breakfast was worse, as part of a wedding party we had a separate dining room. But they refused to serve us till the other guests were finished. Took over an hour for food to come. Didn't get to choose what to eat either, you were getting a cooked breakfast whether you liked it or not. No toast though. Had to ask for that. And then ask for the butter. Cause it didn't come at the same time. Oh and the butter was frozen. This left us with 15 minutes to check our after breakfast was up. When we complained they were rather polite. Stated they would knock that drink we had out of the mini bar off the bill as compensation.....they didn't do that though. They took it anyway. All in all you'd be better in a Premier Inn. Or even a tent. Place had a lot of style over substance. All skin deep.

We booked the mezzanine room for a family meal and it was fabulous. Really great, private space with plenty of room for ten of us. Food and drink service was excellent too, the dry aged rib-eye steak was good.

We had a wonderful stay here. The room we had was absolutely brilliant, a very good size, with lovely furnishings /tv/coffee machine / minibar, an amazing bathroom with seperate bath and rainfall shower. The staff were very professional but also relaxed and friendly. The infinity pool is also brilliant, and although it is only small in size and holds about 8 people at a time and can get busy, it was well worth visiting, and best going first thing of a morning or earlier in the day, with great views from the pool. The Location is also brilliant with the hotel being nearby to the town hall. I would definitely recommend staying here.

I was blown away by the service in the hotel and spa, all the people we interacted with treated us with great kindness and were so helpful with any request we had. All the details of the hotel and spa were really luxurious, they really have thought of everything! The food was delicious, we had room service for dinner and breakfast, both were really high quality and generous portions. I’ve given 4 stars because I did feel after my treatment in the spa I was given a bit of a sales pitch of espa products, I explained that I was flying and couldn’t take liquids and it was fine but I didn’t like someone trying to sell me something immediately after my relaxing massage. I understand that this was not the choice of staff (who were all lovely) and is probably a management decision.

We only came for use of the meeting rooms. These were good. The food, coffee, service etc was all good also. The only issue we had was a period where the WiFi was unavailable which affected our work. The building is charming and well maintained historic location The staff were charming and helpful

Amazing, clean hotel. The room was huge, such a comfy bed also, the bathroom was outstanding with a free standing bath. Then the bonus was the little spa on the 7th floor, I was lucky enough to go when I was the only one in there at 7 when it opened as at 7:30 it was full and wasn’t relaxing at all so I do advise to go early. Breakfast was only £18 pound added to room and it is A must..

Went for a package at the spa and had a lovely time, there was a mix up with our booking but the staff were very quick to fix the error. My massage was done by Zara and it was amazing, she is a credit to the company! The salmon dish was lovely but there was only one vegetarian option which was a dissapointing few beets with cream cheese. it was delicious but not a main course, I would class it as a starter. The deserts were also very nice. Hot rooms and thermal spa was lovely and cozy, perfect for reading a book.

Stayed here with my girlfriend and we had an incredible time. Leah was phenomenal in arranging the birthday decorations and providing suitable advice on what to do. My girlfriend was very impressed when she opened the door and was welcomed with balloons, a little brownie with a happy birthday message on the plate and the radio playing! The room was beautiful and clean, and so was the rest of the hotel. We didn’t get chance to use the bar or restaurant so can’t comment on the food & drinks, however the heated infinity pool is an incredible touch and the location of the hotel is perfect. We stayed on a Wednesday night so thankfully got to experience the hotel during its quieter periods. Amazing as we were the only 2 people in the infinity pool area so had it all to ourselves. I imagine weekends are very busy here. The only downside is the parking, which I appreciate is out of the hands of the hotel. We parked in the nearest off street parking which is Q-Park Piazza which is roughly a 6-10 minute walk, which is fine when the weathers nice but I imagine when you’ve got luggage and it’s -5° pouring with rain, it would be slightly unpleasant so be prepared. Also we paid £32 for roughly 24 hours of parking for anyone wanting to know. Overall we had a phenomenal time and will definitely be staying again. We’ve also told family and friends who will be looking to stay in future. Many thanks again to Leah and the team for providing a great experience.

WOW! what an amazing hotel. My boyfriend and I had an unforgettable experience. I want to give a special shout-out to all the staff especially Leah. She worked with my boyfriend on a surprise proposal and it was so perfect and beautifully set up. The food was amazing, drinks , ambiance etc. They made my birthday and proposal so special. I can’t wait to go back. Thank you!!!

THE UNEXPECTED 10% TIP THAT WAS ADDED TO THE CARD AFTER THE FACT WAS MORE THAN A BIT SNEAKY!! I didn't know it would be added, we left a tip anyway, always do for table service. Came for afternoon tea earlier today (Dec 2023). Doormen were great, service down hill from there. Nobody to greet or sit us for nearly 5 minutes, were told would be a further 20 for the food (surely it shouldn't take that long as we were booked in and it's basically finger food), the waitress was lovely but English wasn't her first language so we were confused as what and when was coming? Definitely could have done without the gent that was sat staring at us for a good 20 minutes while, as it turned out he was waiting for staff to come interview him for a job and rather loudly at that. We would have stayed for another cocktail, as they were lovely, but the interview spoilt the mood somewhat! ALSO yeah, the unexpected £8.50 TIP added to the card after the fact was really sneaky and bad customer service. I've checked the website and T&Cs etc. And can't see that anywhere. We left a tip anyway. Sneaky, not at all impressed!

Incredible. Excellent rooms/service for what you pay. They should probably be charging more to stay here! Almost felt out-my-depth. 10/10. Infinity pool + spa are a must. Soooo relaxing. So many little "extra mile" things too. Amazing AC. Comfiest beds ever. Staff are so so so good. List goes on. Defo recommending to everyone I know.

Just an amazing hotel 💕. Visited for a girls trip and already booked my next visit. Great view of the Manchester rooftops from the spa. Lovely bar and restaurant area. Thankyou to all.

Very nice hotel with a small infinity pool on the top floor. Nice rooms with mini bar, sky TV, comfy bed. Only use the spa for the thermals very relaxing. Breakfast had a nice menue and tasted good. These is only one lift so expect a small wait to use it. Definitely will use again.

This spa is excellent, I highly recommend coming. The facilities are perfect, in a small intimate size. The staff were lovely too. I had 2 treatments and they were the best I have ever had. I left feeling completely relaxed, de-stressed and rejuvenated. I will be returning.

09/08/2023 name of booking J Gallagher We stayed for my fiancé's birthday the room was stunning I would of liked to of given it a 5 star but unfortunately I will only be giving it 2 due to the cleaner taking a bran new top (birthday gift) from the wardrobe we checked out just before 11am and not long after that returned to the hotel realising we had left the birthday gift. A lady on reception and went up to look but the cleaners were in there cleaning and said nothing had been left it was 100% in the wardrobe this is the last thing you expect to happen in such a nice hotel and by reading a couple of the reviews this doesn't look like this is the first time this has happened! it really ruined the stay here unfortunately

3/5. I had a mixed stay here. The suite (number 57) was absolutely brilliant, a very good size, with lovely furnishings; two TV's (with Sky), a coffee machine, stocked minibar, an amasing bathroom with a rainfall shower. There was a bath in the bedroom. The only disapointing part was the noise from the wedding disco. Due to not having any other suites available, I was unable to move. Members of staff were very professional but also relaxed and friendly. The infinity pool is also brilliant, and although it is only small in size and holds about 8 people at a time and can get busy, it was well worth visiting, and best going first thing of a morning or earlier in the day, with great views from the pool. Having a suite (only four suites) entitles access late at night (you can arrange this with reception. I received welcome treats consisting of four large macaroons, fresh Strawberries and Blueberries and some chocolates. A welcome drink was offered which I had by the pool. Room service can be ordered by scanning a QR code. I had breakfast in my suite. I expected more based on the price and hotel. I have had better at the Clocktower or Midland. No diary free or gluten free alternatives with the exception of the milk (Soya was available). No weetabix or granola. The vegetarian breakfast was nice. Probably not worth the £18 price tag compared to other hotels. The Location is also brilliant with the hotel being nearby to the town hall. I would definitely recommend staying here. I live in Greater Manchester and would stay here again. It was perfect and special. The spa (next door) was wonderful. It was great to use the facalities for a few hours prior to departure. Would I return? Yes but the disappointing breakfast may deter me. If the hotel management reads this, please PLEASE please review your breakfast offering. It was perfectly executed but lacked variety.

Viki made our stay extremely pleasant and went above and beyond what we had asked for. I had asked for a cake to be made for my partner's birthday and the result was outstanding. This was one of the best hotel's we've visited and the attention to detail was sublime. The roof top pool was amazing!

Went with my girlfriend for a afternoon tea and cinema experience. The service was absolutely amazing! I'm not really a big fan of afternoon tea but really enjoyed it. During the film people pop in and you can order a drink. The seats are really comfy. Was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend it.

Not all hyped up as it’s made out to be unfortunately. I stayed in a junior suite for my anniversary. For the price I was disappointed in the size of the room and lack of space in hotel overall. Feel like they’ve done everything on the cheap. Hotel did make a slight effort to cater to the occasion by leaving out a bit of cake and rose petals but at a cost. I booked an overnight spa stay and I wasn’t impressed to be honest. The masseuse girl was 18 years old and had told me she was currently studying her level 3 in massage therapy. Not something you wanna hear after spending over £500 on a one night spa stay. The massage was disappointing also to say the least. Need to hire more experienced workers. Use of spa facilities was decent as it was quiet. Onto the breakfast in the morning and again, lacked any real flavour or anything to it really. Also, I felt slight hostility within the staff towards the guests. Overall, a standard stay just not worth the price whatsoever. Expected a lot more for the price.

I went with my daughter and granddaughter for afternoon tea. It was lovely. The amount and variety of sandwiches and cakes was perfect and the service exceptional without being overbearing. It is a big building on 6 floors with accommodation rooms, a function room, spa etc. Also there are a few small, more intimate rooms and areas which makes the atmosphere cosy and comfortable and a top floor outside area where you can sit and have a drink after your meal or at night and look over the city. I would definitely recommend for afternoon tea.

Had a fantastic spa day and afternoon tea. Staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities were second to none. Food and service was great. Highlight of the trip was the treatment from my masseuse,Mia. Had a back and shoulder massage and an express facial. Heaven, thank you.

Stayed in a snug room ahead of an earlyish flight. The hotel was lovely and the room was very comfortable. The roof top pool was great and I’m sure it’ll be even better once the town hall is out of scaffolding! The steam room next to the pool was out of order when we visited but you can pay extra to use the new spa next door Check in was a little on the slow side as was the one lift.

Fabulous hotel! Fantastic staff, great room, wonderful food. Couldn’t have asked for better prior my next day meeting. Although very good, the only thing I recommend change, would be slightly softer linens. In general, love the style and deco. Very old school/vintage modern choices.

Great location in city centre but not on main street. Slightly difficult to find. Very good night sleep. Room OK with very comfy bed and great bathroom. Infinity pool was nice buy very small. We were lucky enough no-one else was using it at the same time as that would be already overcrowded. Unfortunately building work on the other side covered all the lovely views as seen on the website. Bubbles are off every 2 min and you need to switch them back on each time. Overall nice hotel in the heart of Manchester.

The room was lovely and amenities in the room great! I lived the little touch if thr dab radio being put on before you get into your room. Also they took my case up to my room as well before we officially checked in. Bed was so so comfy and loved the coffee machine. Room is well maintained as was the bathroom. Bathroom was great, lovely toiletries and the shower was huge and amazing. The spa/roof top we really enjoyed, infinity pool amazing and would visit again just for this ha.... unfortunately steam room out of order as was the roof top lounger area. The lounger area being locked was our only negative to our stay really as it was actually nice weather and would have been lovely to see the views and make use of this! Only other negative was the 12% charged on any drinks ordered to the spa while you where there! We also had dinner in the hotel and even though there were only 2 tables in eating the atmosphere was still good. The food was gorgeous and I highly recommend eating there whether staying or not! We have the sticky toffee pudding for dessert and it was to die for, the best we have had! All in all a fantastic stay woth fantastic service and really relaxing. I have a great birthday there

What an awesome hotel, quality rooms, lovely bar, food at breakfast was banging too. Great Espa products in the spacious bedrooms. Comfy bed, well controlled air con and Sky TV in the room. Will definitely be going back, I've now been 3 times. Location ideal for city centre. Now has a spa but didn't get chance to use.

My mum booked an afternoon tea at King street town house for my birthday. We are very lucky to have experienced many afternoon teas but King street town house is one of our favourites. My mum, my 18 month old son and myself had the pleasure on this occasion. My mum and I had the gentleman’s afternoon tea and my son had a childrens afternoon tea, which was just adorable. The staff were absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble. A waiter, I think named Billy, started by being very informative and helpful to my Mum over the telephone helping her to book it. We were then greeted by a lovely waitress named Kelly who really looked after us. The manager, Stephen, also went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and really looked after us. The food absolutely amazing, it made my birthday very special. Thank you

Really nice, clean classy rooms. Lots of attention to detail. Comfy beds and pillows, right in the city centre. Breakfast was very nice with fresh ingredients. I literally have nothing bad to say about the hotel.

We provided the Sax & DJ package for the wedding of Matthias & Joanna. An incredible venue that worked really well in accommodating for live music and an excellent party atmosphere! The staff were extremely professional and welcoming, the food was fantastic and the venue was beautiful. If you're looking for a great venue for your event, look no further.

This was our second stay at the King Street Townhouse and once again it was absolutely brilliant. This time our stay was a special occasion as I was planning to propose to my girlfriend. I contacted the hotel about this and the events manager Leah couldn't of done anymore to help me. She advised how to do it, when to do it and reassured me she would do everything to make sure it all went to plan perfectly. Which it did. We checked in as normal, before leaving the hotel for a meal, to then come back to the hotel were Leah and her staff had decorated the room perfectly. It was everything I asked for and more. It was a special weekend and the King Street Townhouse was a huge part of that. We will be back soon.

I had lunch with friends here, followed by a film in their private screening room. The food was delicious, the decor is warm and comfortable and the screening room was beautiful. The service was friendly, but a quite slow, especially in the bar when we went for a post-film cocktail. Booking the private cinema comes with drinks and snacks and then a buffet - this food was also nice, but a bit light on vegetarian options. I couldn't comment on the price of everything as this was a gift from colleagues but it was a very special day - as a film lover it was a unique experience

Excellent hotel! Can recommend the cocktails. The 7th floor infinity pool is an absolute game changer, and lovely to watch the sun come up in a morning. Rooms were kitted out with everything you could require for a stay. Beautiful decor, would definitely stay here again.

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
