What an amazing hotel Location is breathtaking and in the middle of plenty restaurants and bars. Walking into this hotel you can feel the luxury- Dark interior. We booked a king suite absolutely beautiful and clean! Staff are welcoming. This has been added on places to revisit. It is a bit pricey but considering the rating of the hotel it is expected and you will not be disappointed. We stayed for one night - but the feel made us rebook another night.

Attended The Lowry for a function. The staff at reception were attentive and helped with luggage which is always appreciated. Rooms were gorgeous, well cleaned and left me feeling sad about the other 'nice' hotels I'd stayed in before. The staff during the function were very good at keeping us topped up on our drinks and the food served was of a good quality. The bed was comfy, I'd have preferred former pillows but that's just a personal preference and had I been inclined to ask I have no doubt they would have been available. Toiletries you've forgotten are available on request from reception but the products provided in the room were of a high quality. I felt my shower was great but my colleague didn't appreciate the water pressure provided by the very large waterfall head. A nice touch was some Easter Eggs in the room for our stay over the Easter weekend. Breakfast was buffet style with some other special items made to order, I'd suggest checking this menu out but the basics I had for breakfast were very tasty and of high quality. Every member of staff I dealt with over the duration of the stay were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. As this was a work related trip the room wasn't paid for by me, but the prices are high and maybe wouldn't be my first choice due to budget for a weekend away, but for special occasions or a good mid week deal I would look here before other high end city locations.

Now this is what you call a 5 star hotel that lives up to its expectations. Stunning hotel and very clean. Their beds are huge and very comfy. Nice location of the hotel. I will definitely come back here when I visit Manchester again.

Have stayed in this hotel a few times but our recent visit was my favourite! The hotel is clean, modern and stylish, the staff is fantastic, very friendly and genuine, from Reception to those in the bar and Restaurant. Our suite (412) overlooked the river and was large, beautifully decorated, the bed was large and comfortable and amenities were great. It’s nice to see they now put tea/coffee facilities in the rooms as this wasn’t the case some years back (you’d have to call guest services to request this). Car parking is just outside the hotel front entrance and costs £24 overnight. Will definitely be back soon!

Hotel is beautiful! Front of house staff were brilliant, but will never stay again!!!! Asked for a late checkout and was quoted £80 but was charged £100!! The breakfast was dire! Cold an the person working couldn't be bothered to get some more plates?? So had to eat off side plates, when I spoke to the the restaurant manager I was told it would be removed from the bill. It wasn't! I've had to ring to try and get a refund! Not the what you would expect from a high end hotel!!!!

Beautiful hotel, immaculately clean room, convenient parking garage with competitive pricing (if it wasn't included in your package, which ours was). Service from all staff was second to none, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Convenient location for restaurants and bars a short walk over the footbridge. My only criticism was that the quality of the breakfast, which was rather average, was not a reflection on the high standards of the wider hotel. Full english ingredients were not very nice or well cooked, and the continental buffet was not being replenished very quickly, some items like cheese had dried out and no one had replaced. The plated items which you could order off the menu looked really lovely though and the staff were all attentive and approachable.

Spoiler alert, there's not a Lowry painting anywhere. There's some good art though. Staff are incredible. Attended a conference and was impressed overall. Bit weird the bin in the bathroom has a handle on it though.

Nice room but very bad service! We stayed here after going to a concert at Manchester arena. The hotel just can not cope with a volume of people, we came back from the concert and went to the bar to be ignored by staff until finally managed to ask for a seat/service. We were then told they are too busy (it was 10.30) and we could only get a drink at the bar and take it to our room. We were then told unless we order a pint or glass of wine the wait was 15/20 minutes. I made reception aware of the poor service, only to be told that the person I was speaking to had worked there for 20 years and it’s not happened before. Well, I’ve stayed here only once and it happen and I won’t be back, certainly not after that comment!!! I only stay in 5* hotels and I have never had that kind of service from any staff, this hotel needs to get a grip. Avoid, save your money and stay somewhere else for better service 😬

Stayed here recently to go to a concert nearby. That was cancelled but we had a wonderful stay at The Lowry! The room was clean and comfortable - bed was huge, comfortable and the bedding luxurious! Room service was timely, well presented, delicious and delivered with a smile by an extremely pleasant gentleman. We had great views from the floor to ceiling windows. All the staff we met were polite, friendly, courteous and helpful. Thank you so much.

I’d stay here again. The reception staff were lovely and amazing. 4 stars for the slightly surly restaurant staff on duty this morning. Room is great. Bed is ace and the sheets are soooo nice. Slightly surprised only instant coffee!

Rooms were okay, asked for one facing the Lowry and they upgraded for an extra fee, but the whole glass pane on that side was cloudy with dirt, so it was a bit of a let down.. Couldn't even enjoy the view properly. Apart from that, everything seemed clean and orderly. Dinner and their house wine were lovely. Staff were nice and polite throughout.

We recently stayed at The Lowry Hotel for the second time, and once again, we had an exceptional experience. The staff, including Pradeesh Kumar, the Front Office Manager, provided excellent hospitality, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel offers luxurious rooms with modern amenities, and the attention to detail is remarkable. The service was impeccable, and the staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. Its central location allowed us to easily explore Manchester's attractions. We highly recommend The Lowry Hotel for an unforgettable stay.

This is the best hotel ever. The rooms are great and so clean but best of all you can sleep without disturbance as the whole room seems to be soundproofed. The beds are luxurious and massive and the room facilities are second to none. I stay at the hotel regularly and have never had a bad experience. The staff are very attentive and make you feel relaxed and at ease which is especially what I like when I stay here. The restaurant and lounge is a great place to meet and socialise and breakfast is delivered in a welcoming environment and tastes great too. Parking is very secure and very straight forward after a long journey. All in all, taking all elements of the hotel into account, I would say it is a great place to stay, whatever the occasion. A big well done to everyone involved in making the hotel an exceptional place to stay.

Really enjoy my stay at The Lowry! The Superior river view room was superb. The room with large window glasses although spectacular, had lots of water stains which took away from the view slightly. Service although satisfactory, could be better. Providing guests with an checking option prior to the visit and allowing for individual requests I would’ve though my is necessary for a 5 star hotel. All in all, it was a really pleasant stay. The breakfast service was amazing and the waitresses were very attentive!

Our room was upgraded, which was a nice bonus, however it was nothing that special (623). The carpet just outside our door was dirty, the TV was very dark with no option to change the brightness or contrast and the drain in the shower was blocked. The overall quality of the food was very good in the hotel but wasn't impressed that we had to have our evening meal in the bar area or that there was no salmon available at breakfast. On the plus side, every single member of staff was lovely, helpful and friendly. I think we were just expecting a higher standard of accommodation in a 5-star hotel

Stayed at the hotel for the first time recently, whilst attending a sporting fixture. Great location to city centre, shops, and restaurants etc (5 minute walk) . Room excellent, spacious, comfy bed and quiet. The food at the bar was extremely good and the waiters/ waitresses were outstanding. Reception staff very warm and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel. Great value for money.

Fabulous stay celebrating our wedding anniversary. Our large superior room over looked the river and was spotlessly clean. All the members of staff we came across were extremely welcoming especially the staff at breakfast this morning. 5☆ for breakfast. Can t wait to stay here again.

Would not recommend. Very loud music playing which you can hear from your room. Reception staff state nothing they can do and that the music will go on until 1am. If looking for a good night sleep in Manchester please avoid.

Attended an event. Exceptionally for this type of event, the food was rather tasty! Service was good. On the whole, it was a good experience. Although it’s pretty central, it’s a bit off the main drag and there’s no local parking, so best to book ahead and get a good price, instead of pay and go at a local rip off car park. Alternatively, get a cab. Victoria is nearby. I’m not sure if you’d ever get a cab at Salford Central station

Great hotel and room, staff lovely and friendly but stretched, (poor guy in the bar was so busy and we had wait about 20 minutes to be served) Went for our anniversary but were let down by not receiving our champagne, chocolates and strawberries, despite being told twice it would be sorted… main let down was what happened after when we made management aware we didn’t get what we’d paid for, it took the experience manager (Hayley) a week to come back to us (without resolution) and still waiting for a response from the GM, (Adrian)3 days later… overall, if everything goes well it’s great, if something goes wrong… good luck getting it out right!

Went for a company meal on the 03rd November and was welcomed. Also, being disabled the concierge at the door that met us was so very helpful and moved some cones so I could park near the doors, inside we were welcomed and directed to the floor where the meal was being held, also the the staff was so help full before during and after our meal, a credit to the hotel

My husband and I have spent a very pleasant and comfortable time in this very accessible hotel. Our waiter Charles deserves a recommendation for his knowledge of the menu and his ability to listen and respond to our requests. He even organised a plate with chocolates to celebrate my husbands birthday. He was friendly but not intrusive. All the staff were very helpful during our stay

Sunday lunch was really good and the staff were great. Nice setting and easy to get to from centre of Manchester. We didn't stay over so was a surprise you could just eat or drink there.

We're rating this on the few hours we was there, we was asked to decorate a customer's room to suprise his girlfriend for valentine's Day and we was very impressed. The rooms are spacious and really clean, the staff were really helpful and I'd love to come and actually stay with you. Thank you for being so accommodating to us here at Bolton Balloon Fairies 🧚‍♀️

Stayed with my (autistic) kid for 1 x night to watch football. Service was very poor; verging on appalling. Restaurants not really possible for us because of kid's condition. Ordering room service was challenging. The person that delivered food seemingly wanted to hang out in room, watching football with us. Didn't take the rather unsubtle behavioural cue to leave. Heart in the right place, but delivery of service akin to a (local) 3 star hotel on a remote Greek Island. Not (international) 5-star standard. Front reception staff inefficient, almost unpleasant, with self-entitled attitude. The hotel's recruitment strategy in my (humble) opinion is clearly not working. I suspect Brexit has not helped. But (thankfully) there are plenty of other hotels out there offering efficient, friendly and professional service. I would recommend staying at The Edwardian instead, for a true 5-star experience.

Take care with the location as it is not in Media City alongside the Lowry Gallery and Theatres. Actually a benefit as only a stroll across the River Irwell into central Manchester. Room spacious and comfortable. Food good with extensive breakfast choice. Staff uniformly friendly, helpful, approachable and efficient. An excellent stay.

We visited the Lowry Hotel for afternoon tea through a Virgin Experience voucher and we were not disappointed. The food, especially the cakes, were excellent. The staff were friendly and provided great service. We will definitely be returning 👌

Had a lovely time at the Lowry Hotel, secured parking and so convenient, friendly staff, great deco, the room we stayed was very clean and a good size with a good view looking out onto the river, a sizeable both/shower room again very clean, the super sized bed was very comfortable no complaints there! The restaurant had a comfortable atmosphere combine with friendly stuff and some great food!

I bought my friend a Red Letter Day voucher for Sunday Lunch for a 50th birthday. The voucher cost £60. A lovely 3 course meal in a 5* hotel. The booking was messed up so they had to change times and eat earlier. On arrival breakfast was still being cleared so they were asked to sit and wait, no complimentary tea/coffee offered. 1st course arrived which was nice. They ordered beef for main course which looked lovely on arrival. It was cold. They asked for gravy as none offered.....it was cold. No one came to their table to ask if everything was OK. As they had plans to meet family after the meal and had been kept waiting for so long they left without ordering dessert. Overall a very disappointing visit. An overall view of the restaurant was that it could do with a clean. The grooves in the table held salt and other food stuffs left over from previous visitors. As the purchaser of the meal I am very unhappy as it was supposed to be a special meal for a special friend. I have spoken to the hotel who say they were busier than usual and can't get the staff. Stop booking people in then if you can't cope......better to have 30 highly satisfied customers who can't wait to come back than 100 people that will never return.

First stay here recently and very impressed by the location and our actual room. Great for a night out in Manchester . Only difficulty was getting the reception desk to send us some extra tea bags, which shouldn't really have been an issue...oh, and some biscuits in the room would have been nice.

Booked hotel through Secret Escapes for 2 nights.... more than exceeded our expectations. Friendly reception staff member on arrival together with concierge who took our luggage to our room . Lovely Riverside superior room spacious with all usual amenities. A very nice breakfast widechoice generous portions of food....again friendly service from restaurant staff. Great location short walk into centre of Manchester.. Well recommended.

The hotel staff were friendly and efficient, offered a birthday cocktail which was a nice touch. Breakfast was actually quite good when ordered from the menu, the buffet selection was a limited selection. We had a meal package included on our stay, the food was tasty although not a large portion. The room was spacious, large bed which was a bonus. Didn't give it 5 star since the water pressure showering was non existent, the room got very hot during night as heated towel rail couldn't turn off or have the ability to open any windows. The AC was very loud so if your a light sleeper goodluck! Choice between being too hot or having a loud fan. Location was decent, short walk to city centre which was a plus.

Lovely hotel with great views over the canal. Well located and easy to walk to. Room was awesome but I don’t know why the cleaners came round at 7.30 am! Some staff a bit sassy too.

I attended a 3 day conference hosted in the hotel. The hotel is well versed in hosting from what I experienced. Service from the staff was excellent and all the little features, like notepads for note taking, helped make the experience. AV worked in all the function rooms, and the comms team enabled virtual call-ins to the conference sessions. Food served throughout was of a very good standard. I couldn't comment on the rooms as I was staying elsewhere, but those conference attendees who did seemed impressed.

Booked a discounted room via an offer. Good hotel. Nice big room. The area around the hotel needs some TLC. Traffic can be busy on the approach. If you have a large modern car or SUV the car park is quite tight, lots of concrete columns. Would book again if offers are on.

Lovely room, great view, comfy bed, really restful. Very impressive looking bedroom lamp didn’t work! Diner lovely, service great. Breakfast good as usual. Little unsure if my “healthy” breakfast was just that as cooked in quite a lot of oil. Had a very relaxing, peaceful stay , just what we wanted. Thank you.

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
