Stayed here during a visit for a Manchester United match. This is an ideal place for budget accommodation for a few days. Pros: - Price - Close to Old Trafford (although there is another Premier Inn which is closer) - Shops and restaurants close by at Mediacity. - Safe area. Can walk around. Cons: - A bit dated look. - Bathroom improvements needed as some fittings are rusting. - Thin floors and walls. You can always hear people moving around or talking. - I requested room cleaning for 2 days of my stay, but they only cleaned on 1 day.

Nice location that is a lot better then Manchester City Centre! Room is based on the old Premier Inn room design and was a bit dirty when I first arrived. Once the room was cleaned it was ok. Restaurant and corridors need refurbishment.

The bath was slippery, I suffered a nasty fall and managed to break the shower curtain. The reception staff did attend to it quickly, but it was a nasty fall. The breakfast was absolutely foul, under-cooked sausages & bacon. All pastries were out of a packet. The toilets in the restaurant had discarded sanitary towels on the floor, we had to complain. Room was not cleaned. No fresh towels. However, the evening meal was presented well, and was reasonable in price. The Air Conditioning in the room was not sufficient. It may aswell have been non-existant during a heatwave. I would never return to this Premier Inn. Standards have slipped, and they seemed to be under-staffed.

Unfortunately I woke up to my car having had its window smashed in an attempted theft. Glass everywhere and no CCTV in the car park. I was subsequently told its happened a lot at this hotel, if I had known this it would've been cancelled. Won't be staying ever again

Reception staff are pleasant and good location with nice views and reasonably priced. Rooms could do with more thorough cleaning though.

Stayed in a "Premier" room on the third floor. Good views over the Quey from my room. Parking situation isn't great, cost £6 for overnight parking. I think this should be included with the hotel stay even if it is baked in the cost of the hotel. Staff were very polite and welcoming. Hotel room was clean and tidy, fancy lighting for a premier Inn. A nice touch! As I expect from a Premier Inn bed and pillow very comfortable and the shower was great! 2 key components of a good overnight stay. Shower more than suitable for me being 6 foot 2, good water pressure and shampoo and shower gel is there if you need it. Will use this hotel when I stay over again for work.

Good location,we stayed in the Premier Suites. The most stupidly small shower I've ever been in( and that's talking as a professional designer). 645 wide,or 26" +/- ..if you're other than child size, you won't be able to move in it..Totally ridiculous. Breakfast next door was okay ,but the evening food service ,food just about edible, waiting service was slow and lazy!

Lovely room very clean. Hangers, tea coffee sugar, hairdryer, handwash, body & hair wash. Plenty of towels. Booked meal deal 2 x evening meal and 2 x breakfast in Beefeater next door. Good food value for money. Staff were very helpful. Would stay here again 10/10. Parking £6 for 24 hours, right outside hotel

We checked in very efficiently and quickly got to the room dropped the bags and went for a quick bite next door, returned to the room with a strong smell of snoop dog favourite, the staff couldn’t be more helpful they moved us immediately and went to find the source. Jarrod and Lauren were true professionals and the customer service was exemplary the company should reward these people fantastic service. Thank you

Great location, but as a rule, Premier Inn are sliding downhill. Heating in the room didn't work. Extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work. Only two sachets of coffee and milk in twin room. Only one towel left out. Brilliant views and friendly staff. Will go again , but hope for a better prepared room !

Great hotel. Lovely staff, very helpful. A great location for our stay to see a show at The Lowry. Only a five minute walk. Little shoos and bars in the vercinity. We ate at the hotel for convenience. Nice, comfortable rooms. Very clean.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming upon arrival. The room was clean and tidy. Close to the theatre or Old Trafford. I'd give 5 stars, but you could literally here everything as soon as someone walked in the room above and you also have to pay for parking (£6 overnight)

Ideal for visit to the Lowry Theatre. Had a few drinks sat outside the attached Beefeater on the river bank which was lovely. Lovely staff at the Premier Inn, clean room. Quite a lot of noise from the car park during the early hours but the Premier Inn can't be blamed for that!

Our third visit to this hotel but the first post-Covid. From being a hotel I would (and did) come back to this is now somewhere I would never visit again. The staff are lovely; they are friendly and efficient but there are not enough of them. First, the hotel. Our room was fine but it was on the third floor and the lift was not working. Wi-Fi was poor or nonexistent. The restaurant was terrible. The wait for food was endless: more than 30 minutes for starters to arrive and then the same again for mains. Food sat on the pass for 10-15 minutes before it was delivered to customers. There were no jacket potatoes and no mustard (in a steak restaurant). There was no gin in the bar. The whole thing was a shambles.

Great location. Another Premier inn with a “broken coffee machine” in 2023. Instant coffee only and no discounts. Will avoid.

In the rooms overlooking the basin, very quiet. You can open the window and switch off the air con. Breakfast cooked to order. Better bring a bit of time. Otherwise stay away from the restaurant, if you can.

Good hotel but very disappointed when the bar closed at 10pm. It is a hotel after all! No draught bitter. No longer on the menu I was told. Big mistake. Outside area very scruffy. Not cleaned up after match day on Sunday. Rubbish everywhere. Downright poor management. Doesn't create a good impression.

Clean warm and friendly staff. Breakfast was nice but all you can eat is blocked by the fact you have to order it rather than a buffet and serving food was very very slow and there were only 8-10 people in at the time we arrived.

Not the best Premier Inn I've stayed in. It feels like it hasn't been renovated since the 90s and badly needs it. My room adjoined with someone else's and while the door was closed and locked, I could hear everything he was doing (including horrible coughs and blowing his nose). Fine for a one night stay, but overpriced for the quality.

We stayed here as we were going to Comic Relief at dock10. The location was perfect. The car park was safe and secure. The rooms were clean and comfortable, as were the beds. The staff were all really friendly too. The car park cost £6 for 24 hours. The pub next door is where you have your breakfast.

Fantastic location very close to media City and with parking, £6 for 24 hours. If you want to eat before going out, the Beefeater next door offers 2 or 3 courses for less than £20, absolute bargain, would highly recommend 👌

Excellent location for all activities on Salford Quays. Clean and welcoming and the staff were really polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel was very quiet at night which was brilliant. Very good car parking right next to the hotel, easy to access and reasonably priced. My one complaint would be that the car park has no EV charging points which is unbelievable in the current climate. Needs resolving. Other than that an excellent stay.

Friendly check in, super clean room, close to the sports stadium. Couldn't fault the place. Lovely, cheerful ladies attending to the rooms when we were leaving - good job on the well presented rooms ladies! Recommended.

Great value for the money. On the keys near Old Trafford. Clean tidy rooms and friendly staff. Lovely Beefeater restaurant attached. £6 car parking. Pay at machine.

Very nice "Plus" rooms. Only let down by car park. Hotel guests should not have to pay to park in this type of location. In addition, parking terms and conditions in very small print on a sign about 3m above the ground, in the dark (evening arrival). It's almost as though they're deliberately trying to get you to park illegally so you get a fine!!!

Friendly and helpful staff on reception. Clean room...we had a great view across Salford Quays. Location perfect with only a few minutes scenic walk to the Lowery Theatre, restaurants etc.

Perfect for our overnight stay. Very clean and warm, lovely friendly staff and the usual fabulous breakfast. Ideally located, 12 min walk to media city and 5 min stroll to the tram stop for regular trams into the city centre.

Standard premier inn. Stayed one night with my teenage daughter while visiting Manchester Uni. The car park is a decent size and I paid £6 for 17 hours parking. You can either pay for this at the machine just by the main entrance or by downloading an app. I've stayed in a few Premier Inn hotels recently as we've been visiting universities and this is very nice and the location is fab! It's right in the centre of the Quays and within easy, flat walking distance from restaurants and media city. We didn't eat at the adjoining Beefeater restaurant that evening. We instead walked to Nandos, which took around 10 minutes. The walk back was nice over bridges and canals. The view of the Media City was awesome at night. There is also a small Sainsburys and Tesco within walking distance too. Our room was clean but quite warm overnight, even with the aircon on and the window open. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We booked for breakfast and this is on the upper floor of the Beefeater restaurant. Nice large room, overlooking the quays. Great breakfast and plentiful supplies of continental. Hot food is cooked to order and this was very tasty and well cooked. All in all it was a great stay. The only tiny things that let it down for me was lack of plug sockets/USB chargers by the bed and the hot bedroom.

We had a Premier Plus room which had upgraded decor and equipment like a fridge but unfortunately the mattress was just a standard one which isn't the most suited for a good nights sleep. Great location though

Dirty room, air conditioning kept turning itself off and banging from room next door marked "private". Floor was full of bits which obviously hadn't been hoovered, one pillow had make up stains all over it. The toilet in the bathroom had poo on one side which hadn't been cleaned properly there were hairs in the shower. We like a cool room for sleeping and set the air conditioning yet it kept turning itself off throughout the night where we had to then get up and keep turning it back on. Our night was also very noisy with banging coming from next door which was marked private. We stay in premier inns everywhere we go however this has to be the worst we have ever encountered.

I have stayed at this hotel around 30 times this time they decided to charge for car parking I have never in all those years paid for parking so understandably frustrated to get a parking ticket through the door. When I challenged this the receptionist told me the policy has changed and rather sarcastically said well there are signs up and yes there have always been signs up but they normally take your reg when checking in. Yes, it is on the website but given my history staying in this hotel would not have looked for this they should remind people of this change when checking in. Great location absolute rubbish customer service. Oh, and by the way, the free wifi on offer does not work on any other floor of the hotel apart from the ground floor.

Great location, great view, a very smart room, I would happily stay here again. The only downside was the relaying of the car park at the front, but this was only a minor inconvenience, and did not disrupt my sleep. And it will only make it a better experience for our future stays here.

Great location. Ideal for city centre visits. Would prefer it if I didn't have to add parking to my cost. But that's sometimes the reality. Room was nice. Like most Premier Inns. But I prefer consistency. Air con was great. kept the room cool. Free wifi did its job. Staff were incredibly friendly. Sadly the vending machine was not working, so I had to grab snacks from elsewhere. Food next door was really nice. I would recommend booking breakfast. Well worth the money. If i needed, i would visit again
