I've based my rating is on the entire place. I stayed in room 122 recently, I recommend avoiding it! With the window open or closed, all you can hear is a very annoying fan/generator type noise. When this stops late at night, if the window is still open, you can hear traffic from this room. With the window closed, the room was very warm (I turned the heater off at the wall too). If I showered in this room, the whole place was soaked with condensation. Unable to use mirrors for getting ready - not ideal if you're in a rush in the morning. My hair dryer was a travel dryer - also not ideal! I've stayed here several times before and this was by far my worse stay. The food in the restaurant wasn't anything special either. It was like eating at a "Spoons". If you do need to dine here, one of the better things I ate was one of the burgers. Good location for Oldham Broadway business park but it's a very busy area!

We booked a family room and it was tiny and uncomfortable. I know this is a budget hotel but we were not given a family room, we were given a standard twin room that was not nearly big or comfortable enough for us. I would rather have paid extra for a bit of comfort. Will never go down this road again

Nice clean hotel and staff were lovely. A lovely lady on reception (who also works in the brewers fayre next door) kindly helped us to book tables for breakfast as the online link wasn't working for us. The room was very warm even with the heating off so we requested a fan which was brought to our room for us. Staff couldn't have been more helpful which is always nice when staying away from home. The only downside was the additional bed (not the sofa bed but the put me up) was so uncomfortable we had to put an air bed on it for my son to be able to sleep (luckily we still had the air bed in the car from our camping trip the week before). I believe they are now the same additional beds in all premier inns which is really disappointing so we have chosen another hotel chain for our next visit. I hope this is something premier inn could consider as they pride themselves on all of their guests getting a great night sleep.

Stayed for a couple of nights for work. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the metro stop and situated on the main road. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and spacious, bath with shower over rather than separate shower. Decor was a bit tired, but no real complaints about that. Bar and restaurant staff were friendly, breakfast was plentiful and pretty good.

Had a great stay here. The staff were brilliant and even helped me with my case as it's gad to wheel a case when you have crutches. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only downside is that they only have lowered baths rather than walk-in showers for differently abled people. Maybe this is something Premier Inn need to address.

Was going to leave this review in a couple of days time but I don't think it would be the same once I have calmed down Been here today for our dinner and what should of taken around 1hour maybe 1.5hour actually took 3hours from walking in to walking out the poor women taking orders was on her own was really nice but unfortunately we won't be coming back here anytime soon. The food was average not amazing but the service was absolutely shocking. I can't believe that what should of been a quick dinner turned out to waste the full afternoon.

Awful. Staff at night are absolutely disgusting. Was rascially abused so much to the point by the man to the point I could not stay any longer and to top it off was given the middle finger. I don’t suggest as you aren’t given the same respect at night from when you check in with the female staff. I will be taking this further

Despite a lengthy delay to check in with no staff around on a Sunday afternoon and no real apology when someone turned up the stay was Ok. As seems to be the case these days at most premier inns there was only one towel in the room despite booking for two guests and here only one tea bag as well! An extra trip to reception and another wait and that was sorted. The room was cleaner than many we have stayed in. No air con did mean it was hot but at least the awful noisy fan system common in premier inns was not in place so I slept much better than usual. Free parking and free WiFi were both fine.

Tha Hotel itself was very good. Went for a meal in the beefeater, the food was good but the whole place needs a makeover. The seating was dirty, tatty and uncomfortable and the toilets needed a good clean, won't go there again if we use this Hotel again.

Mostly good, but a small problem with the room that was not fixed in the two days we were there.

2nd time I've been at this hotel for work. 1st stay, room 30 I think, no phone signal. Apart from that nice enough room. Staff very helpful. 2nd stay I mentioned the lack of signal on my first say and I got a room upstairs, seems better.

Does the job. Isn't very pretty but isn't designed to be. Clean. Tidy. Parking can be a bit tight in the later hours of the day.

Chaotic, disfunctional and short staffed. We stayed at this holiday inn with two kids and everything was well below what I expected, premier inn has always been basic but fine… this place had broken check in kiosks, and reception staff dealing with check ins manually due to the computer system also being down. We queue for 20mins with two small kids in the tiny reception to be checked in, room they gave us was tiny… zero floor space left when they added two beds for the kids. This is not a family room, but it’s advertised as one. On our first morning we came down with the kids for breakfast to be told there would not be any breakfast as they had no staff to open so we were sent out in the pairing rain to a local pub for breakfast (completely unsuitable for two young kids). That evening we went to the bar for a drink after dinner I stood for 15mins waiting to be served by the barman who was busy serving drinks to a party in the restaurant. When I asked him is the bar open - and was he serving he told me “I’m too busy if you want a drink go talk to that guy - I’ve done enough” pointing to the manager. Manager eventually came and poured one of the three drinks I ordered then disappeared to serve other customers. 10mins later he completed my drinks order without apology even though I’d complained about being left standing at the bar without being told the barman would not serve me a drink.

Staff were really nice and friendly also the room was spotless very nice and clean the only thing I didn't like was the Internet connection was very poor unfortunately other than that The Premier Inn Oldham would be a prefect hotel for anyone to stay in if like myself are looking for somewhere to stay.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay in one of the family rooms. The room's large and warm, beds are very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Would visit again 🙂

Bed was 2 singles joined together which left an uncomfortable ridge in the middle. Bed was also too short, and the duvet was far too hot.

Clean and OK but you can hear people walking or doing stuff so not so good. Price good. It's what you pay I think.

Lovely clean room. Big bed and bathroom. Racheael on reception is brilliant and works hard to give customers satisfaction. Pub adjoining is decent but never any real ale so sadly I am now looking for an alternative. That's the only downside

The room was spotlessly clean, tue staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is on site car parking right outside the entrance, and with a Beefeater pub restaurant where we ate an evening meal and breakfast. Both meals were very good. The premier inn is two storey and there is no lift. However, we did see wherlchair users there. We were visiting church members who are close by. If you want a curry, traditional fish and chips, kebab, pizza etc, then there are several restaurants andvtake aways further down the same street, a five minute walk away. I am looking forward to using this Premier Inn again.

Nice and clean staff nice, bed comfortable but your need to bring your own tea and coffee if you won't more than two cups. You can hear people moving about upstairs and the floor sweaked but staff very happy to move you to a different room. Lots of people think it's OK to shout their heads off outside your room early in the morning. Even with a big sign saying please respect other and be quite. Would say again

The hotel is very quite considering where its situated. Hairs found in the bathroom behind the toilet set on the bath and next to the hand wash basin. The most disturbing thing is I personally would have given a better rating had housekeeping not woken me up twice using the tatic of opening the door then apologising it was the wrong room. This is used to make sure your awake so they can get the room back to clean. My company unfortunately pay for me to stay in Premier Inns across the UK and this is the last straw I will book other hotels now. Stay away if your a night worker.

Only complaint, WiFi hopeless. The staff are lovely and made my business trip so much more enjoyable. I'd like to give a special mention to Victoria and Rebecca in the Beefeater for making us so welcome, I wouldn't expect better treatment in my own home !

A great place to stay and the young lady Sarah in reception was amazing putting an extra bed for an unexpected guest in the grandson and she even left him a bar of chocolate on the pillow. Thank you very much for going the extra mile.

Premier inn hotels are nearly always good value but the two women on reception (last night dark hair) and the red head from today literally can’t do enough for you Clean rooms exceptional service from the staff and that’s what made it for me.

We always stay in a Premier Inn because of their high standards of cleaning of the rooms and all public areas. Staff are always welcoming and and very professional. Evening meals & breakfast are 1st class. We highly recommend the Premier Inns

Just as you would expect a Premier Inn to be, the staff were very friendly. We needed to cancel our pre-booked breakfast as our plans had changed and they sorted it out instantly with no issues. Not too noisy , clean tidy room with a comfortable bed. Tv/Kettle and cups as usual. It was exactly as expected. The only downside was the shower had not a lot of pressure and this is the only reason for 4 stars and not 5

Always stay here when I'm in Manchester. Its clean, staff are very helpful and friendly. Could not fault this place

Normal Premier Inn quality good room, and food in the Beefeater was also good. Air-con in room was switched off so unable to cool the room, minor points. But something more important 😀 My phone network is EE and coverage here is very bad so needed to reply on in house wi-if. Premier Inn wi-fi weak and Beefeater signal even weaker, when in the restaurant at a table phone asked me to move close… not a wi-fi hot spot 😀.

Understaffed but they were all really friendly. The guy on reception was welcoming and helpful. Big issue for me is I can’t have breakfast there as they think the whole world takes semi skimmed milk with cereal. Nope! This is an easy fix guys and shouldn’t be an issue

I have stayed here a few times while visiting my sister . The rooms are always clean and the breakfast in the restaurant is good value for money as its unlimited.

Me and my wife visited last Tuesday, and from the time we arrived it was such a pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was spotlessly clean and fresh smelling. It was such a credit to your staff. The beds and room was so comfortable. We had breakfast in the restaurant which was spot on and set us up for the day, and we will definitely use Premier Inns again
