We recently moved into the area. The food was excellent. My wife asked for rare kabob and I a gyro. Both were excellent in flavor and as requested. We brought home the remainder of our meals, which were good the next evening. The service was excellent. He checked on us but did not "hover." We will be returning again restaurant hygiene and clean. Friendly service, family business. This is now our favorite restaurant.

Drove 30+ mile to taste their food, I ordered chicken gyro sandwich for first time and everything was pretty good. wish they had bread options too choose 🙂 next time i will try lamb sandwich and baklava.

We loved the Falafel 🥙 platter here and chicken Gyro was good. The owner is really nice, I accidentally ordered Lamb and she changed it.

Food is always excellent. The two ladies that work there are always fast and efficient. I love the fact they have Turkish coffee there. Makes me feel like I am at home.

Alaturco means 'classic Turkish. I met the owner (kind husband and wife) and her cousin). So tasty and savory and clearly authentic! If you want kind and friendly check 'em out! This place is a must see! I willbe back.

Loved it! Got the falafel platter - So tasty! The baclava was delicious. The portions are generous and the prices are very affordable. It seems like more of a takeout place but there are some tables outside and barstool seating inside. They have a parking lot, too. Service was great! We will definitely be back!

We're so fortunate to have this restaurant in our area! The food is delicious and nutritious, and always served freshly made. Whether you stop by for takeout or dine in for lunch or dinner, the service is gracious. For vegetarians and for those not eating red meat there are good choices on the varied menu. Their falafel sandwich is a standout and the baklava is exquisite.

Placed an order for pick up, food was hot and ready in 15-20mins. I was in and out with delicious food! This food is definitely different and the meats are on the dryer spectrum but everything is so flavorful and tasty. Very generous portions. I’m happy with my experience will order again soon.

We saw them at the Troy Farmer's Market next to a taco stand. I had already ordered a taco at that point so I knew I wanted to try a gyro next time. I noticed their new location in Ballston Spa so we stopped in for gyros to bring back home after visiting my mother in law a few days after. The chicken gyro was delicious as well as the baklava. Definitely recommend coming here for lunch!

Cute place, friendly staff, and authentic delicious food. Their chicken and lamb döner remind me of Germany, where I first had this Turkish cuisine. 10/10 will be back!

Amazing food! Amazing service! Plate licking good! An absolute must visit 10 out of 10! We happened by chance while driving through town and look forward to traveling the same route the next trip we take just for the food!

Everything was fresh and cooked to order. Both the lamb and chicken gyros were top notch. If i had to pick I'd say I would pick the lamb as best. The grape leaves were fantastic as well. The service was super friendly as well. Will be back very soon.

We drove 40 min to try their food and I am glad we did. Me and my husband ordered gyro platter. Portion was very generous, everything was fresh. Baklava was also very fresh and delicious. I wish we live nearby. Definitely will visit again.

Everything was great with our gyros- the lamb, the pita, the veggies - so flavorful, and the prices are so reasonable. Seems like you can’t get a simple sandwich in Saratoga/Ballston Spa for less than $15 these days. Altacuro includes fries with their gyros for $9.99! We sat at a table out front. Great service and friendly people.
