Lovely pub. The courtyard dining area looked gorgeous but it was a bit nippy for sitting outside today. Inside was much cosier. The service was great - a table was quickly found for us - and food was even better. The vegan burger was superb. A fab spot for lunch.

Good friendly polite staff. Great choice on the menu. We had the deluxe Roast dinner being Sunday. A good choice. Make sure you are hungry as a belly filler.

Staff were very helpful and informative. The atmosphere was really nice, cosy and relaxed. I will definitely be coming here again. The food was of excellent standard. For starters, I had the soup which was really delicious and fresh. The bread was really fresh and crunchy. For my main, I ordered the The Cheshire pork leg with roast potatoes. This was really delicious and filling. A great experience and I strongly recommend to come here again. The children ordered chips and the cheeseburger. The burgers were really fresh, juicy and big too!

Recommend the sharing mix platter as starter and mocktail drinks… other dishes in the menu lacked flavor, or were overcooked.

Great Robinson's pub, had a lovely lunch here. Very dog friendly.

Enjoyed a really lovely meal last Saturday evening with friends. The only criticism I would make is about the table and chairs. We were seated in the bar area, and the table was too small for 4 people, considering the size of the plates . The chairs were also very uncomfortable. Food great but you need to be comfortable to enjoy it.

I've been going to the Church for years and I'm so happy to say that it's new look really works for me, and the new menu too! I've previously really struggled to get good vegetarian food here, but it looks like it's improved. I went for food and drinks with friends and had a feta salad, which was very tasty. There was another veggie option on the menu but I wanted something cold. Friends all had good looking meals. The new decor outside is fab and we were out under the canopy all night. We had booked so got a table easily, suggest people book on warm days. Inside the old restaurant room looks more cozy, and the main bar not too different. They've redone the loos and they are swish. Had a good time, recommend.

Really tasty food, generous portions, we ate outside and whilst it was a little chilly the heaters kept us warm. The chilli chips meant we had no space for dessert!

Cosy pub with a roaring fire, which was lovely. Nice attentive staff, had the cheeseburger which was lovely but just a bit much for lunch, would have preferred if there was more choice on the sandwich menu for lunchtime, but obviously that's a personal preference.

Amazing food and extremely friendly staff, they were able to accommodate 6 of us and a dog at short notice and made sure we were looked after!

Me and my partner went here for our anniversary meal and it was lovely. Staff are very friendly and efficient. The food was lovely, especially the duck breast that I had. Highly recommend! We came here again (21/04/23) and the food was brilliant. I had the Hake Supreme and my partner had the chicken burger, both presented well and tasted great. Staff were friendly, considerate and assertive.

It's a real gem of a pub. They've really diversified during the pandemic and it's great to see that they are doing well. The food is great and the courtyard dining experience with all weather protection is very welcome. Even in the pouring rain and cold the covered areas at the back are warm and cosy. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

My wife and I went for a roast dinner with my wife's father on new year's day. The atmosphere was really good, the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. The vegetables were marinated in some lovely flavours and the beef just melted in the mouth. What a fantastic place to go for something to eat. We will definitely be going back to try some of the other dishes that we saw being taken to other table's. Well done to all of the staff working that day. Happy New year to you all👍👍

Absolutely fantastic food. Came on a recommendation for an impromptu birthday lunch on a random Friday. The place was heaving, we got one of the last tables. Seriously impressed with the food, veggie options were filling and varied with a lovely combination of flavours and textures. Not what you'd expect from a small Robinson's pub. My only gripe was that it took an awful long time to even have our order taken and then for food to arrive. We were in no hurry so it was OK but it would help a lot if they were just up front about the expected wait and then we could have relaxed and enjoyed it more. If we had been on a work lunch break or similar we would have had to leave. Honesty is the best policy. Still would absolutely recommend this place and planning to come back to try the Sunday lunch.

Absolutely amazing service received today. I was amazed at the amount of food and the food its self was fabulous. We all left full and wanting to return again soon. There was four of us in our party , booked in yesterday and each and everyone of us had amazing meals. So reasonable and they even finished off surprising me with a special birthday dessert. Thank you so much , what a great team, lovely atmosphere. I will be recommending highly and of course visit g again. Keep doing what you’re doing.

Have eaten here so many times and keep returning due to the lovely staff, relaxed atmosphere and of course the amazing food. The frequently changing menu never fails to impress, excellent quality and good portion sizes. The current Mediterranean sharing platter is delicious and I'd love for that to be a permanent choice on the menu! 😋

I went there for something to eat 3 courses for around 20pounds per person, 2 courses for less of course. Parking no problems for all people. Entrances OK for all people. Shown to a table provided with 2 menus. Service was fast and friendly. Food provided was very good. I had the biggest slice of cheesecake I have ever had. Prices competitive.

Ate outside under canvass and in a heated area. Great service from excellent staff. We only had the soup but will definitely return to eat inside.

Good food and excellent service. The waitresses were extremely helpful with food intolerances and went out of their way to help the chef find an appropriate combo. Small hiccup on the price, where we were given menu prices for something off the books which was clearly overpriced.

Food was delicious, as always. The problem was we went for Mother's Day, and it took an hour and a half for our main courses to get to us. A long wait for those of us who didn't have starters! Feels as though they should have either had more staff in the kitchen, or fewer guests booked in.

A very busy traditional style pub with a nice menu good food and great staff but a little chaotic and overpriced

Popped in for a quick pint. Sat in the coffee/beer garden on a very quiet Monday afternoon. A very traditional Robinson's pub with an extensive beer garden serving meals included breakfast from 8, the car park is on the opposite side of the road off the roundabout.

A great pub, always a good atmosphere. The staff are very attentive and friendly, they make the effort to get to know the regulars. The food is delicious and worth the price. The inside is cosy and the outdoor seating area is gorgeous!

We were looking for a cosy pub to wait out the worst of a rainstorm and Church Inn was absolutely perfect! We were lucky enough to be in on the last day of their festive menu, which was both extremely tasty and great bang for buck. The staff were so polite and attentive despite clearly being very busy, and the decor is was beautiful. Dog friendly too!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good choice of drinks and ample food menu. The only negative is the prices, £6.25 for a pint of Moretti is very steep compared to other Cheadle Hulme establishments, therefore I do not visit as often as other places.

I've copied this from my trip advisor review but it's 100% true! Absolutely great place, we come in once a week for breakfast and it's always a lovely atmosphere the staff are always dead friendly, I'd like to mention Hannah and Izzie in particular deserve a pay rise as they always remember us and never get anything wrong and always sit us in our favourite spot. The team of chefs are phenomenal they change the menu up on a regular basis and it's always great you get to taste the world but they always keep their classic chuffin as well as a full English so you can always have a solid breakfast if you don't feel adventurous. I simply don't understand how they're not in the Michelin guide as it's one of those places, I don't know if they deserve a star but it wouldn't be a shock if they got one as it's consistently amazing, look at how few bad reviews they get and how old they are, it is out of this world absolutely go here.

We do like it in here but on today’s visit they put a herbal tea bag in the English Breakfast pot, then refused to take it off the bill. Did have to pour a couple of cups to work out why it was tasting so bad with milk, which they used to justify refusing the refund. This despite also buying lunch, and several coffees at £3.95 each.

Wonderful food and service the last time that I dined there on a thursday evening. Reservation essential. For those who like Robbies beer then there lies the bonus!

Lovely outdoor decor with hanging flowers and plants, while also housing a cozy indoor setup. We had an early breakfast here: the menu was short, simple and crisp. French toast was made to perfection with just the right amount of chocolate and caramel.

We had a lovely time today. Everything was lovely from start to end. We were met by a lovely friendly lady who was very nice. We were early so had a drink before our meal. I had the Sunday roast and my husband had fish and chips. All was amazing. There was a nice warm atmosphere in the pub. Very friendly staff and attentive. ⭐️
