👍👍 Nice little walk just outside Northwich town centre, that makes you forget that your anywhere near a town Center. You can take the path all the way to Winsford or back into Northwich town Center. All in a beautiful surround of woodland walk ways or the river Weaver toe paths. People often mention walk,

This area on the banks of the Weaver Navigation is an excellent paths network. However, if you pursue further up and beyond the Blue Bridge the path becomes overgrown. Luckily I carry a secuters with me when I'm walking and they were certainly used during my walk as there are brambles everywhere. The battle was worth it as I was able to see a pair of kingfisher standing together on a branch. Lucky to see one never mind two.

Lovely place with a variety of enviorments wetland woods reedbeds and rare on nature sites lots of sign posts and details of were you are. It can be part of a round walk down one side of the river weaver then cross at the lock and walk back on the other side. Will be back in the summer to see the wildlife

Marshall Arms is a lovely place to walk. From Stones Manor Lane to the River Weaver Navigation. Very pleasant walk though if you walk down from Stones Manor Lane you have to walk back up again!!

This is my favourite place to visit in the area, at all times of year. It's such a little beautiful haven in rain or shine, with a variety of flora and fauna. Hartford is lucky to have it.

This is a wonderful piece of ancient woodland, with a great history. In spring you have bluebells and ransoms in abundance. It is used by the local community, children, schools and dog walkers among others. A really pleasant place to walk.

Good walk. Lots of wild life. Good for letting dogs off lead.
