Nice big bar in a great location on the Riverside. It was quiet when we were there. The staff seemed busy and kept the bar clean and tidy. The Millennium bridge is fascinating and right outside. It's bright due to all the glass and a nice atmosphere. Thanks.

Food was tasty with reasonable prices. Starter prawns tacos was good. However services needed improvements, a group of us, 10 people visited in a weekday for dinner, the waitress keeps sending wrong orders to our table. Ordered a medium beef, first got a medium-well, then a well-done overcooked beef was delivered, we sent it back to the kitchen again, then after 30minutes a so called medium beef has been delivered, as I was so hungry so just take whatever I've got this time, and the beef was not even cooked, it was rare!

Nice venue right on the side of the river Tyne. Food was very tasty, just what we needed for lunch after walking our feet off walking around "toon". The fish finger brioche was nicely cooked and quite clearly freshly cooked. 241 cocktails 12-7pm mon to Friday on selected cocktails, whats not to like.

Nice place inside with a decent menu and large drinks menu. Everything from beers and larger's to cocktails and non alcoholic beverages. They even do sharer cocktails. I had the steak and it was cooked as I asked. We were Olin a group of 9 and apart from a slight misunderstanding at the beginning on a starter all was as requested and the mistake was quickly and easily fixed. On paying the bill options were given for paying individually or as a group. Inside was nice to look at although the music was a bit samish all the time and could irritate after a while. Outside is the millennium bridge which is a great view.

I didn't eat here hence why only 4 stars ⭐, but I had a few drinks here I was there around 4 o'clock on a Wednesday which wasn't peak time so there was a nice and relaxed atmosphere. The bar staff were really nice and welcoming. There was an option to have hot drinks and food but, I had cocktails as I fancied something different they were on but one get one free on alcoholic and none alcoholic ones and a good selection of other alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Prices where mid range, in that area they can range from £7-£12 per cocktail. It is right next to the river and the foot bridge which takes you over to Gateshead nice and romantic on a winters night.

I organised our Christmas staff party with Charlotte. As with all staff parties, the numbers were constantly changing right up to the day before our bottomless brunch booking! Charlotte was very accommodating replying to my constant emails with queries! The whole booking process was so easy and stress free! On the day, the service was great and the food was very nice. Obviously being Christmas, P & P was very busy but whenever we needed drinks, then the service was quick. As a staff, we have decided that the bottomless brunch is the way forward and I’m sure we will be back in the near future.

I organised a 30th birthday event in the middle of May. This was on the private mezzanine area. Lucy, the events manager was excellent with communication and could not have done anything more to make sure that my event was perfect. She organised additional decorations and put me in contact with external companies. This included Harry, a photographer who worked the room and understood that some people may not want pictures while eating so came back! She also sent pictures of the room as it was getting set up - talk about building excitement! The venue was outstanding. The view was lovely and the outdoor terrace was an added bonus. The girls behind the bar were superb. Megan and Jodie were friendly and made sure everyone had a great night. The bar was fully stock with the same stock as the public bar. Elliot and Molly stepped in to support the event on the actual night and went above and beyond to ensure that the event was exactly what I pictured. Booking this venue was an ideal choice. All the guests commented on the food and the quality of it and they commented on the venue and how picturesque it was. There was such a buzz between all guests (70 of them) and for days after I was overjoyed. I still look at pictures now! Just a faultless event - Thank you everyone!

Pitcher & Piano Newcastle is situated nicely beside the beautiful Quayside area, perfect for brunch or dinner with the lads.. The presentation of the food was remarkable and the taste of the water provided was simply exquisite, one of the best I've tasted! Sadly, the food's beautiful presentation were not followed up by a gourmet experience my lads had expected. The 10 oz steak I had tasted bland and the complementary sauce it was served with was merely just salt to the injury. The same goes for the dessert I ordered, it was disappointing to say the least... definitely not an El Bueno Nonetheless, my lads and I had a great view and service to compensate for the lack luster food experience. Hope the management would improve further on this.

Lovely place with nice atmosphere and view. The staff is super friendly and cheerful The starter we had the tenders and hash browns. These were tasty. As regards the halloumi , we didn’t like it as it was not crispy or tasty. The mozzarella pizza , cheese burger and the honey butter chicken burger were delicious, flavoured nicely. Highly recommend 👌👍

Good place for a rest and. Drink when you've been walking about the toon. Good selection of drinks and the new London essence sofas are nice with a gin or two! They pour a good Guinness too. The only problem is the price. £15 for a pint and a double gin and as a Yorkshireman with short arms and deep pockets it pains me to pay that much :)

Esther gave excellent customer service and was able to take my order in Swahili - one of the very many languages she can speak!! We were blown away when we left the bar to find that she had built my family a new home (Pictured below for evidence). Can't believe she did it with her bare hands while we had a quick pint. Esther told us she rebuilt a family's house after a terrible fire destroyed it and that was much harder to work with given the damage, so building us a new home was no trouble at all. Thank you Esther.

Decided to come for a small bite and the small platter option hits the spot. Alice (pictured by accident trying to get a photo of the bridge) our server was really friendly and had great service from her. I’ve not come here at night so the music was rather loud for my liking as I had to raise my voice to speak but I got use to it after 15 minutes 😅

Lovely atmosphere, came for a quick drink and bite to eat, served by Esther who let us know 241 cocktails were still on before 7pm, safe to say we made good use of the offer!

Had the Bottomless Brunch with 40 friends to celebrate a birthday. Location is spectacular. The service was top notch. The staff worked tirelessly to keep everybody happy , despite being rushed off there feet. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Highly recommended. Would definitely return

Lovely venue. The bar is beautifully decorated and with a fantastic view. We nipped in as we were staying at the malmaison hotel and had the intention of going on to other bars. We were so comfortable that we stayed here for the duration. The staff are so lovely and welcoming. Will definitely return

Beautiful bar right on the river. Good selection of cocktails and they run 2 for 1 promotions throughout the week (we missed it unfortunately). Highly recommend the raspberry mojito. The place was pretty quiet we visited on a Monday evening however I can imagine it'll have a more lively vibe at the weekend.

Henry on the bar was lovely and made me and my friend a great aperol spritz tree. We ordered the chicken katsu loaded fries and they were delicious (portion is huge for two girls though 🤣). Good music and vibes, staff are all lovely and welcoming. Beautiful view of the river. On the expensive side but worth it.
