We have been as a family multiple times and we are never disappointed. We have a family member with a milk allergy and their allergy menu is great as well as lots of vegan options which doubles the choices of food. Each course came with a dairy free sticker to make staff aware of dietary needs. The service was fast, polite and efficient! For a family of 5 it was priced fairly and the restaurant itself is always well presented with a pleasant atmosphere 😀

Great welcome, friendly and helpful waitress (Sophie). The food was quick to come out but we weren't rushed and we're asked if we wanted the next course. All the food we had was good quality, really tasty and well presented. Prices are reasonable. Decor was nice for a chain and they at least gave a nod to the history of Stockport (hat making). I would recommended this place for all kinds of dining either a quick bite to eat or a full meal for individuals, couples, families or big groups. Would definitely go again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Food arrived quickly. Fresh and hot. Staff were pleasant and helpful. My only gripe is that the kids menu is quite limited. But we would still come again, just without children.

I have to confess that it wasn't the best of the experiences... We had to wait for almost 5 minutes to be seated as there was no-one available to come to sit us. Then all the service was slow and nobody was paying attention to the tables. The food was as tasty as its presentation. It seemed frozen re-heated food... The restaurant was ded silent so not inviting. I had better experiences there before, but not this time unfortunately...

Food was nice but customer service shocking !! We came in a group of 8 downloaded the the app which states free garlic bread on first visit,,, only to be told that it relates to one per booking this is not mentioned on the website, so we was like ok never mind complained but got no where. Two garlic breads was placed at our table when we was having our meal we did not order them so thought gesture of good will they gave them to us !! Checking the bill after we paid they charged us £11 for two garlic bread & also added a £25 team tip shocking behaviour be careful if you choose to dine in at the red rock restaurant in Stockport !!!!

Not the best experience we walked in without a booking, we asked if there was any available ? We was told no,not without a booking we are fully booked tonight, even though it was almost empty ! So went left , my daughter then said about booking a table on the Internet & we could have one in 30mins . So we went in to ask why we was told there where fully booked up . The manager was busy so the poor server sent to us was very apologetic & helpful offering us a table in 5mins . Can't understand why we didn't receive this service at first. Rather than just been turned away .

Beautiful food and one of the best dining experiences we have had lately. Environment, staff and service. Husband was very happy with his pizza and I had lovely ravioli. Dessert portions were surprisingly big too. Not been to Zizzi before but we will be back soon.

Reasonable size restraunt, unsure about the decor.. strange unmatching, dint quite get the vibe. Staff seems pretty attentive, food came within 25 mins of ordering. I had the calamari, which had not ben prepared correctly as the sinue/membrain of the squid hadn't been removed, smelled extreamly fishy too. The batter was unseasoned and even with salt and pepper wasnt that great. My partner had smoked bacon rigatoni, which was a small plate the size of a childs meal. Unfortunately we were both extreamly poorly after dining here yesterday and im still throwing up. Thanks zizi's. Very disappointed

We were served by the manager, he was lovely down to earth polite and chatty. The decor looks unfinished. My daughter had the chicken skewer starter and said it was rather bland. She also had the mushroom brushetta and sweet potato fries which she said were quite tasty. I had the lentil ragu. Which was mediocre, so much spaghetti that it made ethe Ragu seem sparse. I expected a different pasta to the long spaghetti. I wouldn't have ordered it had I known. The sweet potato fries were lovely tho.

We were told we would have to order food on the app as the waitress was not allergy trained. The manager could only take allergy orders and he was doing things in the office. I commented that this wasn't ideal and then the manager found the time to come and take the order. Whilst we were there another group left due to poor service. I believe my dish was reheated in the microwave as the ravioli was dry at the edges. The other meals were all fine.

We visited after seeing a movie in the cinema on the same row, when we arrived it was quiet with only one table dining at the time, our order was taken quickly and food arrived not too long after. I ordered Casareccia Pork & Garlic Meatballs, and my daughters ordered the Bolognese. Mine arrived with no meatballs to be seen, im assuming the mushed up meat was the meat "balls" it still tasted ok and didn't complain because I couldn't be bothered hanging around for it to be remade especially when my daughters were already eating theirs. The garlic bread with cheese and caramelised onions was fantastic though which made up for the lack of meaty balls... The waitresses were polite, and the restaurant was clean. However, considering the lack of diners, we weren't able to use the toilet due to them all seemingly being in use? Despite us not seeing anyone going to or from them during our visit.

A pretty shambolic experience unfortunately. Arrived as table of 3 just after 2pm on a Sunday in December. There was only one poor chap running the front of house. He was very polite and attentive but the place had several empty tables with dirty plates on them (he did apologise). Also apparent that there was only one person on the kitchen. The place only had half a dozen tables occupied during the time that we dined. We only ordered mains (mozzarella pizza, kid's pizza and the special brisket+venison stufato Christmas special). These took over an hour to arrive to the table. The Brisket and Venison Stufato was actually very tasty. Meat fell apart, the potatoes were cooked well and tasted like decent Jersey Royals and the sauce had a great flavour. Pizzas are pizzas... struggle to go wrong with them. Have eaten here before but hasn't been this bad. Cannot take issue with the staff working on the day as they were clearly swamped and trying their best. Whoever manages this place and determines staffing levels should be ashamed.

Not a bad place, not crowded. The room is cozy and clean. The service is polite and fast. The kitchen did not have all the ingredients for the dish we ordered, but they offered us a replacement. Overall, I recommend it.

I usually love Zizzi but the service wasn't great this time. I ordered the new salmon pasta and was told there was no salmon. The server came back after i had another look at the menu. I ordered pizza and we ordered a side of fries, I was told there was only sweet potato. It would be helpful to be told what is not available at the start of the service. After being told the salmon was not available, it would also at this point have been helpful again to advise what else is not available. My goats cheese pizza was good, my friends meatballs were bland. The restaurant was quite quiet so not a lot of atmosphere, wait for food was a little longer than expected. General service was friendly.

Although ive only rated zizzi Stockport 4 stars...I would still recommend a visit. The food was nice and was good value for money, big portion sizes. Definitely recommend you give the cheesy garlic bread with balsamic onions a whirl...was delicious. The young lady that served us was very professional and friendly but was on her own and had so much to do so service was a little slow, thus obviously wasnt her fault they need to hire more staff. All in all it was good but could improve!

A little disappointed with our visit, last time we came top marks, this time...hmm..we arrived and the place wasn't busy, but the staff were busy, so we sat down in a booth near the bar, 10 minutes later, no one had acknowledged us, until we caught the attention on a waitress, she ask us if we had been given any menus, to which we replied not as yet, until another staff member, I assumed more senior, arrived abruptly with the menus and went on to say we should have waited as we have to ask you about allergens and then seat you at the table, we tried to explain that at the time of arrival we saw everyone was busy, and that last time we were there we just choose our own seats! In a huff, she left the embarrassed waitress waiting for our order and turned tail and left! Not a nice first impression! Eventually when we did get our foods, the garlic cheese was burnt underneath, yes we should of said something but following our first contact choose not too. Other similar pizza restaurants around us were busier than this, and to be honest, you can tell why, manners cost nothing, first incounter costs a lot, I certainly won't be coming to this branch on Stockport again, we spent over £100, and usually visit 3 to 4 times a year, your loss. Dinner be warned.

A wet evening, made me pop in and im glad i did. A lovely kind team looked after me. The truffle pizza was a great as the recommendation. Some days im sure this is very busy, but not during my visit.

Came into here for the first time today after watching the remembrance sunday memorial service. The server Sam was excellent, very attentive and welcoming considering we are a party of 8 and this usually causes some issues in other places. He made sure that we had everything we needed, but wasn't overly bothering us, which we have in some aces. The food was outstanding!! I was annoyed with myself for not being able to finish it all!! A definite re-visit is on the cards, hopefully in the not too distant future.

We were very satisfied with Zizzi. Everything was very tasty, fresh and super quick. We did not wait long to get our order on our table. Staff were polite and willing to help you. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very good, it is very well decorated and you can actually see the kitchen and the pizza oven! It is a bit pricey for the portions you get but you get compensated by the quality of the food. Definitely worth it.

The food, staff, cleanliness and atmosphere are all on spot. It was also pleasant to be served food in a very timely manner tho I didn't really like my cocktail as it tasted like strawberry flavoured water but the missus really enjoyed hers

The food I ordered was very bland. It was labelled one of the customer favourites...I don't know why. I asked the server for some salt, explaining it was bland. She disappeared to the kitchen and came back with a kind of creamy tomato based sauce which helped give the dish at least some kind of flavour. The server was apologetic and very helpful, but an expensive meal out for mediocre tasting food.

came here after the theatre. my mum whos in wheelchair was very comfortable. Good menu choices, staff were attentive and the food tasty. a very successful trip and will be back as they have great access for wheelchairs thanks

I went here for an anniversary/birthday meal and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing it wasn't too loud but it wasn't completely silent it was just right. The seating was really comfortable and we had enough room to move about without feeling restricted. The food came quick and was really tasty, I had a Rustica Smoky Chorizo and it was by far the best pizza I have ever had in my life, my girlfriend has a Vegan Margherita. The cocktails were tasty but they were strong, I know that's not everyone's cup of tea but I quite I enjoy a strong cocktail but if you don't I'd recommend getting something else. Finally, the desserts were amazing, I don't have a sweet tooth at all but I loved the dessert I had, I had a Salted Caramel Cheesecake with Honeycomb and my girlfriend had a Vegan Shortbread. The price was reasonable but closer to the expensive side.
