Such a great experience! Went to support as they are supporting Karen Reads fight for Justice. Food was great. Stopped for a quick hotdog, fries and milkshake. You did not disappoint. Food was great and very inexpensive. A win win! Well worth the trip. Reminded me of a episode of Happy Day. Loved the old school drive in feel! We'll be back!

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G I went here for ice cream for myself and my pups . Not only did I get great service but their ice cream is to die for. NOW for the kicker I order 3 dog ice creams now this is not a whimsy store bought frosty paw or just your average dog ice cream bottom of the barrel scrape, A HEARTY size of vanilla ice cream nicely presented with dog treats and a little drizzle of doggy treat sauce . They also had a live band playing that was fantastic sounding . YES take your family here,YES take your pets here and YES post about it

Soup flights and bread bowls is where it’s at!! Kudos to the STAR drive in for a great idea (who doesn’t want more than one delicious soup), delicious, fresh, and hot bread bowl, and not to mention the great presentation/packaging! Keep the soups coming!! (I actually got 2 flights and we tried the zuppa toscana, clam chowder, corn chowder, beef stew, and stuffed cabbage- all were excellent). Also, I was offered a grilled cheese in place of the French dip sandwich that comes with the flight as I did not want the French dip. Great customer service!

Heard about this FRIED DOUGH SUNDAE and I had to try it! It was delicious 😋 and it was my dinner 😂 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream on a hot fried dough with hot fudge and whip cream! Give it a try - sharing would be ideal or not 😂

Went with the family for dinner after a long and exciting day. I ordered a half dozen clam cakes and a large calzone. The food was spectacular and the prices are phenomenal for a place I would consider an "attraction". A must visit for any hungry people near the area.

Impressed! Returned, Excellent! I was a little skeptical trying their seafood, but the better half and my meals were excellent. Plenty of other choices as well. It's counter service which we like. Plenty of bang for the buck. Good going Star Drive In! Had the Seafood Platter.

Auntie and I stopped here on our way back from Roseland Nursey in Acushnet. Auntie got a cup of vanilla with hot fudge. I ordered the pineapple and raspberry mixed whip. Both were delish. Glad to see this place back again!

I was visiting family in Massachusetts and they suggested we go The Star Drive because the food is great. I thought that was a little weird but we all loaded into our cars and headed off. I own several businesses that serve food so I am hyper aware of things like cleanliness, service, food quality and atmosphere. The Star Drive In was an incredible experience. Every single one of us loved the atmosphere and felt so appreciated by the staff. The cleanliness was excellent and the food was delicious, prepared well and all of the food was delivered as ordered. No mistakes. We will definitely be back next time we are visiting family. Thank you for a fun experience.

We love this place!! If you like old 50’s diner/drive in vibes, this is the place for you! The food, atmosphere and service are wonderful. Your fellow patrons are a mix of young and old. Friendly car and motorcycle enthusiasts, veterans, families, young couples, old couples, groups of friends ~ they’re all there. The food is delicious and menu extensive for a drive in. My husband always gets the clam cakes and chowdah. I am working my way through the menu. It’s a never ending fete due to the ever changing specials, new items. I’ll keep trying. Side note: I can’t wait to finish the lunch/dinner options and start on the ice cream! Meal portions are good, I never have room for ice cream! The owner is the first to stand up when someone in the community needs a helping hand! She donates her resources and space to better her community. Great food, great vibe, thank a vet, movie nights, family values, pet friendly, outdoor dining, - what’s not to love?

Visited the star drive in while family was visiting this weekend. They did not disappoint. Even with how packed the venue was, the staff was on their game. From greeting us promptly to serving us in a timely manner with delicious food to making sure we were happy throughout the visit. Our party couldn’t stop raving about this place. Definitely a new favorite for us.

Took a detour for dinner on our way back from a trip to Martha's Vineyard. Well worth it. The food was fresh and delicious (and I just left an island!) The restaurant was clean, plenty of parking and a nice area to sit and enjoy our dinner after being in the car for awhile. The staff was amazing - polite, attentive and very helpful. I definitely recommend Star Drive In!

Found this hidden gem by accident, and it definitely didn't disappoint. They had trunk or treat and some classic cars. It had that 50's vibe. I had a cheeseburger club and onion rings and it was on point. The rings were hand battered and perfectly seasoned. I'll definitely take the trip out again to try their seafood which looked and smelled amazing

Hi my daughter and I really enjoyed seafood. We tend to go out for it once a month. We decided to split the seafood platter with the lobster sliders. I have to say the food was half hot and half worn. The melted butter was cold and had a off putting taste to it. The lobster sliders has old reheated gross pieces of lobster on two bucky rolls. The atmosphere was great we both loved the old car hope music that was playing. And the staff was a delight to deal with. Great place a service with really trouble seafood. I would never go there for the seafood never again.

By far the best food ever. We've never been disappointed. We had the shrimp plate, lobster roll, lobster bisque and lobster cakes! This place has always been and continues to be the best. Red velvet cookies to finish the dinner off. Thank you Star Drive In, again❤

I used to get the chicken tenders here a couple years ago and they were fantastic. I could tell they were homemade. I got the tenders recently and they were all the same exact shape and size very flat and seemed like frozen tenders heated up. Also not enough sauce was given for the 4 piece. I like the burgers and pizza still though.

This was our first time to the Star. It was a fantastic experience. There were classic cars in the lot, a gentleman playing guitar and singing lot's of oldies. After all the craziness going on in this world it was just great to get back to America again. Great food at a great value, classic cars and classic music. A perfect experience! Hope it stays this way for my grandchildren. Standing ovation!

I've taken my family for ice cream at Star before and their ice cream is great, but I thought they were otherwise primarily seafood. Boy was I wrong. They have a huge selection of other foods that are amazing! Took a chance on the fried calzone tonight and it's my new favorite local pizza option. My husband got burgers and clam cakes which he also loved and my kids shared a 2 hot dog and fries dinner. And they ate all of it. Which is saying something for a 4 and 1 year old. If you were like me and think of the Star Drive in as just ice cream and seafood- please do yourself a favor and branch out! You will not be disappointed. Oh and the staff is always super sweet and thorough with your order. And the prices can't be beat!

We love Star Drive-In. I no longer live in the area but my family knows if we’re heading that way, we’re going to STAR! My favorite is all the homemade soups, chicken and wild rice is my go to, but thankfully they offer soup flights! So you can try more than one, my son always has to get ice cream and my sister can get gluten free options and still indulge like we did as kids. We love the movie nights outside and try to make at least one every season. Everyone is always kind and the old school feel is the best part! I highly recommend bringing the family there for a bite if you’re in the Taunton/NB area. Thank you Star Drive-In for the memories I will always have, you never disappoint!

I worked relatively close to Star. First time I ordered from them was in 2021 and have raved about them since. Their food is incredible, their employees are sweet and they began to pick up who I was by my order and when it came to putting a name on the order - they already knew. Theses employees always have a smile on their face and make it welcoming to come in. I always recommend people to try their food. 10/10 establishment. Keep up the great work Erika and crew.

What a fun place. We visited for the first time last summer and it was a blast. We saw Jaws and the Toy Story Light Year movie. Watching from the car is fun and different. I like that they have food (which is pretty good!) but also allow you to bring your own snacks if you wish. I want to return in 2024.

My family and I love going here when we don't want to cook. They have great food, they are consistent, and they have reasonable prices. Staff is nice and they have a great system in plane during g busy times!

Went today for the first time, and definitely will be back! Great service! I ordered the soup flight. I couldn't decide on what to get so much deliciousness on their menu! The best soup I've ever had in my life!
