The place is quite good.. but don't compare with pichavaram. Here you can't go much closer to the mangrove, if you go on off season you can have much options, like bathing, walking on the sea, and using special glasses to see fishes (if the water is clear) and a watch tower view. But if you go on season time, 45 min round trip between the mangrove. That's it.. price is ₹200 per head. They have room for dress change also toilet. And there is small store, where you can get some soft drinks as well fried fish. Bit of maintenance required and no proper sequential process.

Boating in the midst of mangrove forests. 200rs per adults. Good safety precautions with compulsory lifejackets for everyone. Nice place for a half day getaway. It's an Eco friendly tourism initiative. The staffs over there were polite and really helpful.

A mangrove forest boating conducted by forest department. A scenic view on the calm estuary along with mangrove forest on the sides. Duration of boating is approximately one hour. From the estuary boat enters the sea and returns back with a small stopover in between. Ticket cost is 200 rs for adults and 100 rs for children. Life jacket is provided. Tuesdays are holidays. You should stop near the church itself for boating and beach is slightly away. A must place to visit with minimum crowd and calm location. A small canteen is available for food and refreshments.

Nice place to visit with family.they do stop in middle of ride in an small sinking like island which is great spot for photos and videos shoots

It's a must try...the boating is really good... They take you a place where your feet touches the base and it's a beautiful experience for those who doesn't swim 🙂

Nice place for weekend. But they should update the details (fees,opening hours) for boating in google, as all can go for a smooth ride..

Mangrove forest ride connecting to the beach,ride was very thrill can enjoy the view of the forest and birds surround on yu, people's are friendly and they recommend the spot to take a break.
