Worst experience I’ve ever had!! Biggest mistake ever!! Should have listened to not book this place. If you want the spot for an hour or two to do what you gotta do then maybe ok. Booked Kariba Kariba INN for a 13 night stay. Prior to booking I explained what I was looking for and the main things were cleanliness and somewhere comfortable to cook my own food and eat. I was told by the owner that they could meet my expectations. This place is so dirty the bed heads and furnitures are dusty under the beds dirty, found old food containers in bedside drawer (after the owner did a “second deep clean”). Wooden windows broken, and water stained. The curtains, bed linen and towels dirty/stained. Curtains old and smells. The mattresses are uncomfortable you can feel the spring rubbing against you. The bed I was given on the first night felt like I was sleeping in a hole. The owner is dishonest. I was shown two room which I reserved and paid a down payment on but received different dirty smelly rooms. Promised a clean kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is messy nothing is tidied away, it’s dirty. The dining area is cluttered and moldy. The bathroom is horrible, the toilet seats are disgusting (I had to buy a new toilet seat for $2000+ which I left there), you can’t even sit on the toilet properly as it moves. The owner/staff puts cardboard to stop the toilet from moving but it still moves. The shower has mold and stains. The shower curtains dirty and old with mold on it. Bedside lamps don’t work, or doesn’t have bulbs in them and are very old, the metal bits has rust on it. I had visitors and they all commented on the moldy smell of the building and old broken down look. Was told that whenever someone gives a honest feedback that was not what the owner wants to hear then he’d ask them to leave. This place is in dire need of refurb, it has good structure but needs to be redone. Refurb suggestions: re paint inside and outside, change the beds and mattresses, get rid of the broken furnitures and what’s not broken then spray them over (for a fresher looker), change the windows (the woods are rotten and smelly), redo all the bathrooms (bath, toilet, face basin, tiles), get rid of the old bedside lamps. PRO: The only good thing is the entrance is well kept and beautiful which will fool anyone. If you could see the building from the road you would see that it’s not worth the amount of money they are asking for. It’s a discrete place for discrete activity. I couldn’t stay for the 13 nights I had to leave and find elsewhere. NEVER AGAIN!

We were traveling from port Antonio to treasure beach and stayed for 1 night on the way in the Kariba Kariba Inn. The stay was amazing, but the best was the host! He’s incredibly kind and helpful, just a person you wanna have a chilled talk with:) Would always recommend that place! Wanna thank the wonderful host again for his help and his patience with us! All the best

It's quite quaint and old fashioned in amenities, but does have a level of coziness that I enjoyed. Also, the owner and innkeeper is quite a convivial and well travelled individual. Makes for very interesting conversation. I had a great experience!

Derek, Omari, Tracey and the rest of the team at Kariba Kariba Inn couldn’t have been more hospitable and welcoming to our group! The food was amazing and this guesthouse was the perfect set up for our cricket team. Any issues were resolved incredibly quickly which is all you can ask for following Covid where it has been closed for a while. Would highly recommend staying at Kariba Kariba to anyone!

Our family of 4 spent one night here while visiting Manchester. The rooms were clean and comfortable and beautiful decor. One of the bathroom could use a little upgrade but otherwise everything was perfect. Breakfast was included and price is very reasonable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Thank you we will be staying here whenever are visiting Manchester parish again.

This is an amazingly eccentric and artistic place full of inspiration. Walking in this place brings back memories of Italy, Spain and of course the tropics. Fantastic woodwork and great hosts..

Needed somewhere inexpensive for 1 night. Nothing fancy at all. Large Guest house with multiple rooms. No fancy decor but interesting wall pieces. Very basic but Affordable, Clean rooms, Host was extremely accommodating. He waited up late for us. Always available by phone. Helped my husband watch the baby while he packed the car. Fit for the adventure traveller. Will go back.

👍👍 I did my wedding there and I'd do it again and again. All staff were great but a special mention to the owner who went above and beyond to honor my every request and more.

😐 To be in one place for 27 nights afforded me the opportunity to make an honest assessment of my stay at the Casa da buena vista. Ms Josephine (housekeeping) is one of the nicest persons that I have ever met. She is a hard worker and truly an asset to the business. Richard is very jovial and as a res...
