I paid the surcharge to have the full amount charged to my account one week in advance for a reservation for 3 guests. When they arrived at the hotel, they were told to pay at the front desk, as the hotel was not seeing any payment. It took over an hour for Jaital to send the details to the relevant crew. My guests were waiting in the lobby all this time. It was very embarrassing and inconvenient. There was no apology, nothing done to assist the guests or the paying customer. Their customer service is whack! The phones keep ringing, and the staff is rude and unprofessional. I will never conduct business with this company again. UPDATE: I just wanted to make sure that 48 hours had long passed before I updated this. So like a day after submitting this review, I received a rather stern email from Jaital's Customer Relations Team demanding that I remove this review within 48 hours because it's "a deformation of character." Not kidding. I can't defame your character if you didn't have any to begin with. You had one job, in which you failed to deliver. The review will remain on Google as long as they allow it. Stay blessed :)

This company confirmed our online booking for Dune Buggies and we called and the woman told us they’d pick us up from the resort at 10:30am. Then the next day we receive an email at 8:05am saying “urgent your ride is here and leaving in 5mins”. We call and the lady says “sorry it arrived early and we’re booked for the day so you have to come another day”. Totally ridiculous, didn’t even try to accommodate us and it was our last day traveling so we couldn’t come a different day.

I was left at the airport waiting on a bus for 4 hrs. The airport staff say they do it to people all the time. I spoke with the staff right before boarding my flight (3 hr flight) who guaranteed me the busses run every 45 minutes and they had my boarding pass so they knew when i landed. When the staff at the marriot desk did me a favour and called the individual who was supposed to be at desk 21 to greet the passengers that arrived he laughed and said them get Fxck. 10 days later still wont respond to our emails no way to contact management the on phone staff is extremely rude and quite illiterate from their conversation skills. We still have not recieved our payment back we are all calling our credit card companies to report them as fraud now. Beware Jaital is a huge scam. And on top of that we had to pay a premium at midnight past cerfew cuz we were waiting 4 hrs on shuttle missed out half a day at my all inclusive didnt get in to negril till 1 am all due to jaital and thei negligence i will never use this company in life again and i suggest u do the same.

This was our first cruise so we were a little nervous about how things worked and were concerned that we might not get back to the ship on time. I had sent them a couple of emails before we booked with them and they promptly responded each time. We were very pleased with Jaital's services. As soon as we exited the cruise ship in Ocho Rios and walked out the gate towards Oceans 11 the Jaital representative was waiting for us. They were very nice to deal with. The driver gave us details of the area as he drove, then when we arrived at Dunn’s River Falls he took us right up to the gate. He went in and had an employee come out to meet us and put our bracelets on while others had to stand in line waiting. He was at the gate waiting for us when we finished. He drove us to the restaurant and even went in with us to talk to the waitress to insure we were taken care of properly. An hour later he came back to pick us up and drove us to the shopping areas. We were very pleased with this company and will use them again when we return.

We used Jaital.com for two excursions on our recent trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica. This was our first time using Jaital and I have to say it will not be our last. Our driver Silvan was excellent. He was on time for pick up at our resort and the company was very good at communicating with us regarding a late pick up for our second excursion. Silvan was a very safe driver which we appreciated considering the way some of the other drivers were. All in all we had a very good experience with Jaital.com and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Sylvan. He is a great driver and even better person. Sylvan treated us like family. The drive was enjoyable, entertaining, and informative. Jaital is not really a tour operator. They supply transportation to and from the tour destination, and they basically get half of what they charge, to provide safe and reliable transportation. My wife and I received neither. After a full day of snorkeling at sea, and drinking and partying, we were dehydrated and exhausted. Jaital was supposed to pick us up from the dock after the party cruise was over. We were left waiting, shortly before sunset, in a fairly dangerous part of town. We had very little money with us, and no cell phone, as American cell phones dont work in Jamaica. AND THE DRIVER NEVER SHOWED. We were helpless, and my wife was scared. After 20 minutes of waiting, and not sure of what to do, someone who was afraid for our safety, offered us a ride to our hotel. After the fact, when I called to complain, the driver was rude and dispespectful. I asked to speak with the owner of the company, and my message was never passed along. Two phone calls were unanswered. It took multiple emails to get a response from customer service. When I asked to speak with the owner, Mark in customer service stated "THAT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN". That was the first of 4 tours that we had booked with them. After our bad experience, I cancelled the remaining trips. Mark in customer service responded that they don't issue refunds. He promised to look into the matter, and call me the next morning, between 8 and 8:30. He never called me. He did send an email with an insincere apology, with a $20 credit for our "inconvenience". For what it's worth, being stranded in a foreign country, in a shady looking beach, in a bad part of the island, right before nightfall, with no money, and no method of communication, dehydrated, and wearing flipflops, 10-15 miles from our hotel, is not my definition of an inconvenience.

Had reservations for the farm/local food tour on 6-16-22 in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Once we finally were taken to the Jaital meeting area, we were informed that our tour wasn't going to happen since they didn't have a driver. They had not tried to contact us and notify us of this change at all, no text or email. Addendum: after this review was posted, the company sent an email almost demanding the review be taken down since they had refunded my deposit!

Unable to get through to company to ask questions about a catamaran cruise without first being hard-sold for a wearable medical device. Not what I expected.

Booked the blue hole tour in ocho rios. paid 40.00 deposit with credit card. was not told could not pay 120.00 balance with credit card. upon arrival for the trip was told must pay cash. we do not travel with a lot of cash so this made a hardship for us for the balance of the cruise. would not recommend this tour company. Was also not satisfied with the tour we went on.

We used Jaital Tours for the DunnRiver Falls Tour. Our driver was professional waited at the falls the whole time while we were there. Yes Jaital just secure a driver and get their cut but the drivers are no different then the ones the other groups use. We would use Jaital again with no hesitation.

Slyvan was our driver he made our vacation amazing. He took us to the Blue Hole, shopping, touring, and lunch. This trip with Jaital was great! We went everywhere Carnival excursions more than half the price. He kept our personal belongings safe in his van and waited for our excursions to be over. Jaital is great will use again.

Tried booking on their site for a tour in Barbados. Their support was awful, and then they ended up cancelling on me saying it was unavailable, no further details. Seem pretty unreliable, won't ever use them again. After posting this they contacted me saying how unfair this review is and harassed me to take it down. I won't because my experience with them has been 1 star.

We booked our excursion in Ocho Rios through Jaital instead of the cruise line and it was by far the best excursion of our six day cruise. Our driver was professional and told us so much about the island on our way out to the resort. We will book with Jaital on our next cruise.

We had a very good experience with Jaital. The driver was friendly and knowledgeable and drove safely to and from Blue Hole. The excursion itself was a blast for my family and I. The tour guide at Blue Hole was excellent and friendly. My complaint is more with the other travelers on our bus. One group was late getting to the bus in the morning but luckily our driver was still able to get us to our excursion on time. Some other travelers forgot water shoes but luckily, our driver was able to have them buy some without everyone having to get out of the bus and go shopping! I would have liked some time to peruse the shops at the Port. We stopped at a local souvenir shop on the way back to the ship which was fine but it gave us no time at the port. I did appreciate how friendly the woman at the shop was. She was very sweet to my daughter. When on vacation you want to be around people who smile! The Blue Bamboo beach was beautiful but the food was overpriced for what you received. It was very windy the day we were there so made eating outside a little difficult. Would probably help if they had some way to put down screens/shades. Our (glass) water glasses actually blew off the table. Luckily, they did not break! The service was great and everyone was friendly at the restaurant. Might have been nice if they had some music playing on a speaker. We bought some souvenirs at the little shop at Blu Bamboo. Seems the people working there could have been more friendly. Did not feel welcome. Overall, I would recommend Jaital to friends. For the price, it was unbeatable! Thanks, Kryn Contello

The driver was slightly late, but it wasn't a big deal since it was a little rainy, so the timing worked out great. Our driver was awesome, and pick up went well afterwards. The Dunns River Falls experience was great! We thought the tours were very well priced through Jaital, a lot better than if we had booked it through our resort, so we would definitely book with you guys again!!

Our driver, Paul, was great. He went over and above to make our trip as enjoyable as possible. The Blue Hole was awesome! I highly recommend Jaital Tours, Paul, and the Blue Hole to everyone visiting Jamaica. You won't be disappointed.

Our experience with JaiTal was very good. It was easy to connect with ground personnel in Montego Bay. We were a bit concerned that the return van would not arrive. The driver arrived half an hour early and relieved our fears. He was very helpful and pleasant. He also told us what we were seeing as we drove back to the airport which we really appreciated. He was willing to answer our questions and made the trip enjoyable. If we are ever lucky enough to return to Jamaica, we will not hesitate to do business with your company again.

I got the day pass with lunch at Margaritaville In Ocho Rios that was supposed to include beach chairs and umbrellas. There were 7 adults and when we got there they expected us to share 4 beach chairs and 1 umbrella. I couldn’t get ahold of anyone from this company to I have sent emails etc. and they have not tea to anything. I would not recommend that excursion or this company. We ended up going back to the ship.

Do not book With this company or believe any of the reviews on their website. This is a scam 100 percent. The tour to the blue hole was supposed to be 5 hours but it was literally a rushed 35 minutes and a 20 minute ride there and back. Complete waste of time and money. They also do not provide lockers even though there are lockers and will try to hustle you to leave your bag in an unlocked van. Also they were an hour and a half late. Cost me 200 bucks for 35 minutes. Basically one jump in and done.

This will be the third time that I have used Jaital Tours to take me to Negril, Jamaica. I can't rave enough about this Company. It was a breeze to book on line,. The Jaital desk staff had everything on point when I arrived in the Country. A few times, the driver actually gave a brief history of each Parishes we passed on our way to Negril. The driver was professional, engaging and not reckless,. The $25 each way fare is so much cheaper and safer than taking a taxi.. I arrived at my destination relaxed and picked up to return to the airport on time. In short, I will always use this service for my trip to Negril. I am appreciative of the recommendation for this service.

I booked a private catamaran through Jaital Tours for the rehearsal dinner for my wedding group (35 people). We did a 3 hour sunset tour and I added the Jamaican lunch, which was served buffet style. I asked lots of questions throughout the process and they were always very quick in responding to me. On the day of the tour everything worked out great. I was concerned because some of our guests were arriving at the resort very close to our tour time and I was afraid they wouldn't make it. However, the drivers were able to wait and we got everyone there. We all had a great time, we snorkeled, ate, drank, danced, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. I would definitely recommend Jaital Tours.

Our round trip airport transfers, the Negril excursions, and the Ocho Rios excursions were all wonderful! Andre was so kind and helpful! We appreciate being able to rebook after having to cancel in March! I also appreciate the prompt replies to my emails over the past months. Thank you for everything! We had to ask for directions on finding the meeting spot once off the ship, but once we did, everything else was perfect! Had a very nice shuttle van that took us to the Bahia resort about 35 minutes away. Told them a pick-up time, and they were there the second that time came. Thank you for the amazing experience in Jamacia! We were skeptical at first, but the experience couldn't have been better. Highly recommend Jaital Tours, and highly recommend Bahia Resort.

Viva Wynham Fortuna Day Pass - I wanted to add a comment for others like me that are worried because when you notice this tour is way cheaper than other agencies you get a bit worried. I was really nervous when the Viva Wynham hotel said they never gotten one from this agency. They had to hold our licenses and asked us to forward the email confirmation voucher to them until they confirm. If you are OK with this little added delay it might be worth the savings. For us this was worth it in the end as we had 12 people in our group. The Margaritaville had the same excursion that included transportation for $57pp more however they had a huge bus for transportation and were the first served access to the hotel. In a van taxi we paid $120 round trip for all of us. I want to add get familiar with what is included cause they don't tell you specifics up front. The food outside and inside the buffet, multiple drink locations and amenities. Locate the Activities building and use everything they give you access to that you'd like. I noticed no one did the trapeze until the end of the day probably cause no one asked.

Our holiday in Jamaica was cancelled in March 2020 due to covid. We rebooked for December 2020 and asked Jaital to move our booking for horseriding to the new date rather than refund as we wanted to support the company when they weren't getting business due to covid. Sadly we had to ask again in December as the holiday was again cancelled due to covid. This time Jaital replied saying no you can't move it more than a year from your first booking date and your deposit is none refundable. This was completely beyond our control, world travel was stopped due to covid but rather than move our date and get the whole of the payment when we took up the excursion they said no you can't change the date and you can't have your money back and there was nothing we could do about it. Ripped off.

One of my fondest memorable trips taken .. Jaital came through with the utmost professionalism in assisting me in planning an after-wedding event party on tha water … 80 guest had thee absolute time of their life …. food and drinks included. the vessel very clean .. staff was very warm , welcoming and FULL of energy that made this eventful day even more enjoyable… A BIG THANK U .. jaital crew…this was / is an unforgettable!! We had a lovely tour to the Blue Hole arranged by Jaital Tours. Communication before the trip was excellent and we were able to find easily the meeting point and the driver. The Blue Hole was just spectacular (you couldn't ask for more from any excursion) and after the excursion the driver took us to a nice souvenir shop near the centre of Ocho Rios where our tour ended. The driver was very knowledgeable of the local history and local area and made us feel always relaxed and at ease. Everything went extemely smoothlyl!! Highly recommended!!

This was my 1st time to Jamaica, let alone booking my excursion for Dunns River Falls and horseback riding on the beach. My driver Greg was amazing 👏🏾 He was there before our pick up time, explained different areas as we drove by, assisted us with getting our wristbands for Dunns River Falls, stayed and waited for us to come back at an agreed time. Once we got to the horseback riding, Greg used my phone and helped us take pictures and videos, waited for us to finish and then brought us back to the RIU Hotel. I not once felt like my safety was in jeopardy. I'll be back next year for my family reunion and my family will definitely be using Jaital Tours🤩 I highly recommend going with this touring company, great prices and great people 👍🏾

We used Jaital tours for multiple excursions. We had three drivers (can’t remember all of their names but Tyrone.) All were great drivers, friendly, very prompt and punctual. I would definitely use their services again, and highly recommend them.

I used this transportation agency for my airport transfers while in Jamaica. We used the shared ride option, and it worked out fine. We were still social distancing. The driver was on time, welcoming, and drove safely. I would recommend.

Hi there I just wanted to say thank you on behalf of my group who went to Dunns River Falls as well as those of us who spent the day at the Jewels Resort Hotel. The hotel was absolutely great. The food, drink and the beach and the orientation from a member of staff. I will definitely be staying there again on my next visit to Jamaica. The day didn't start off great when we arrived in Ochio Rios. We were sooooo late to meet the Jaital staff. When we eventually arrived at Ocean Village both the ladies were calm and professional (so sorry, I forgot their names) and just kept saying it's ok after I just could not stop apologising for our lateness. Anyway, the driver arrived to take us to the hotel. Upon arrival, the driver, Nick was absolutely fantastic. We could not have asked for a better driver. From the moment we got on the minibus one by one he introduced himself and was very professional and we all felt very comfortable with him. He picked us up on time from the hotel to take us back to the ship. We asked him if we could stop somewhere to buy rum. He accommodated us and even took us to the pattie shop in St Ann's Bay but as it was a bank holiday the shop was closed. All in all we would request him again. Thank you Jaital for your professional service and I will be recommending family and friends to book with you for their excursions. A very happy customer. Thank you.

I booked our group of 15 on the Beach Bar & Falls excursion when we ported in Ocho Rios a couple weeks ago. This company was very professional. I was emailed our confirmation voucher with instructions on where to meet them once we got off the ship. They took us to the Falls & the guide stayed at the Falls while we climbed so once we were done she could call the driver to come get us & take us to the beach. Our driver gave us a time that he'd be back to pick us up & arrived 15 minutes before that time which was great. We had a fantastic day! Everyone enjoyed their time at the Falls & the beach. Next time we're in Ocho Rios we will book through this group.

Had a great excursion in Ocho Rios with Jaital. DaVida Miller was our guide and stayed with us the entire time. We chose the beach house. It was a gorgeous little home right on the ocean minutes from the cruise port. They only allow for 20 people so it's a great spot to get away and relax. It's very clean and there's padded lounge chairs and a shower to use. You also have access to inside with TV and free WiFi. I highly recommend this place!

I did a private catamaran cruise to Ricks for my wedding party and the staff Omar and everyone was amazing. We had the best time. I had a friend with a broken leg come and they helped her get in and off the catamaran which was not a easy chore. We loved the net sunken into the catamaran and getting splashed with the waves. Amazing staff and easy to work with.

We enjoyed a tour with Jaital in Ochos Rios in November 2017. We booked the excursion that took us to Dunns River Falls and then rafting on the White River. Our driver was friendly and reliable. We would book through them again if we went back and decided on another excursion.

Wonderful experience. We came to Falmouth on a Royal Caribbean cruise and did the rum tour. Our driver was awesome and we had a blast! Jaital as a company is extremely professional. I booked online before my cruise and had no problem.

The Bob Marley tour was a fascinating experience. Our driver, Sylvan, was easy to get along with and very friendly. We really liked that we had a private vehicle for the tour as we were able to enjoy it a lot more rather than being on a big tour bus. He made sure we got to the Mausoleum in one piece and made the trip effortless on our end. The Bob Marley tour was marvelous. The rich history and culture really opened our eyes as we were able to experience first hand the stories we have heard from abroad. We also did a second tour with Jaital. The Dunns River Falls excursion was amazing. Our driver, Orlando, did an excellent job and went out of our way to ensure our trip was enjoyable and hassle free. He went above and beyond our expectations and was super friendly. The Dunns River climb was great and our guide Dave did a good job in making sure we made it safely up the falls. All in all, a memorable experience
