I can only speak of the bar. Best bar in Western Portland to take friends for a drink. No bar flies, no idiots nor idlers, no bartenders trying to pad your tab. A tranquil setting without the disturbing new style of awful music being produced in Jamaica. Of course there's room for improvements. Food isn't bad as well.

Place was very quiet which I liked. The compound was clean. The room was clean as well. I enjoyed the scene at the back with the sea, and the little hidden sea creatures. Overall my experience was good.

What a lovely place Mr & Mrs Richards have created, a beautiful place to stay an have drinks. I'd like to commend the staff also, Courtney the chef can make ANYTHING, his fried breadfruit is A*. Opal is the hostess with the mostest and Crystal is always on the move working. They are all such a credit to this establishment in Portland. Pool table, great drink selection, only a stones throw from the beach. The rooms are clean and the water is powerful. I really love this place.

Wish there was cable and a more "sandy" beach. Nonetheless, Roger, the bartender and even the doggies were very friendly and accommodating

The food and service is outstanding ,steam fish is a must with friendly staff.

The rooms here smells old and they’re very hot there. Lack of proper ventilation and the water level is also poor it just shuts off sometimes and takes some time to come back on. Their rooms needs to be refurbished to more modern decors and appliances. I don’t think I will be going back there.

owner a very lovely accommodating man. The place has a lot of potential but for the cheap price you get exactly what you pay for. The food in the restaurant is amazing. would highly recommend. the staff are very friendly especially the young lady serving in the restaurant. unfortunately we were unable to have one of the two rooms that had AC....in jamaican summer dieing slowly does not explain....the heat in the room was unbearable. so i suggest you ask ahead of time for the AC room. the rooms are a bit dated but the respect we have for the owner...he does everything and cant be expected to have it all perfect...the lodge would be five star if it had a referb...new paint job and AC in the rooms. any problems you have just speak to the owner he will be sure to have it sorted.

Spent a few days here. Amazing service beautiful food. The staff couldn't do enough to make my stay anymore comfortable. They even washed my clothes..Went to personally bring in what i requested for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beautiful private beach fresh coconuts you name it they had it. Peaceful paradise....a must see and try experience...

Cheap but, clean....cool and nice. There's a little beach to the back where you can relax and enjoy the sea breeze, the fresh air and the relaxing sounds of waves crashing on the shore.
