My family loved the food here. The service was great and very clean. The upstairs eating area has the best view. My favorite was the Stew Peas.

If you’re in need of something quick come here. The food is very filling id recommend the curry chicken if you’re looking for something tasty and seasoned.

The service was ok, but honestly, the return of the Seasoned Fries is not giving the vibe I'm used to.

When you want authentic Jamaican food this is the place to go Island Grill, you get everything Jamaican at very good price and very delicious 😋.. my favorite spot anytime 😊. There is a little wait time because they are always busy.

Usually the food here is good but it was a busy day and little staff so my food was not up to par, not the usual good service. My meal was a little cold and I got no sauce, fork or even napkins. Tables were dirty and a few flies were trying to get at my food. So I left the restaurant without eating much. Lost my appetite. Island Grill is my go to spot for real Jamaican fast food but lately they're slipping up.

Poor customers service. After waiting a long time, I enquired why and was told they did not have the plantain. No one informed me that it was finished and if I wanted to change the order. They just simply ignore my order.

1st time here, food was hot and delicious highly recommended if you come to Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The ppl working there wasn't friendly they were calling out the order numbers but then they stopped once my sisters food was ready we were just sitting there waiting on their food and they didn't even tell us. Their food was just sitting up there getting cold. But mines was hot and good. I ordered the 1/4 chicken, rice and peas(red beans), festival(fried dumpling), steamed/cooked cabbage and fried ripe plaintians even ordered extra.

I didn't enjoy the visit. The card machine wasn't working and I didn't appreciate how the "Failed transaction" was dealt with by the cashier. The air conditioner wasn't working and the store was hot. The meal was tasty and I enjoyed it immensely. I would definitely recommend Island Grill for persons who are living a healthy lifestyle.

It's an okay place. Not the cleanest, not the dirtiest. They're kind of slow on getting orders ready and such. You can go upstairs and sit, but they don't really keep it clean either, may have to wipe your own table. Stingy on napkins, if you ask for extra napkins you get two more, when they've only put two in the bag in the first place, for a family of six. Ultimately, this means if there's a mess left on the table, it will be up to them to wipe it up, which I understand is why it's probably not so clean up there because they don't give you enough napkins to clean up after yourself 🤷🏾‍♀️. Cheap/stingy. Somewhere that I would look to go to again? Probably not. Somewhere that you can grab food if you have to and you're in another country and your kids are hungry? Yeah, that one.

Wow just wow, I love Island grill, although the food portions çan be a little more. But the taste is consistent and so good.

The eperience was ok. The staff moves verry quickly with the orders. The parking is a major problem though. Very difficult to find parking sometimes. You would have to factor time to find parking for this restaurant.

Great food! Better than a fancy restaurant. We were surprised and thrilled at the quality and flavor.

Went there in the morning. It wasn't crowded and the service was good. My order was processed in a reasonably short time. The food was good also, the usual IG standard I'd say.

You can always count on Island Grill to be busy. Food is consistently good & affordable. Cold air conditioner, indoor seating, and clean bathrooms are a plus. Fruit juices are amazing & so refreshing on hot days when you're out walking.

I loved having Jamaica "fast-food". It was delicious. The breadfruit was so good. The place was clean and the service was fast. The staff was friendly as well.

I did enjoy my Yabba meal but honestly I love the fried green plantains. Parking space is limited in lunch and rush hours.

The food taste good, however the food could take more sauce to eat with the rice and peas. Also the waiting time could be a little shorter, the store is clean tho.

Properly oiled functioning machine. Lines seem long, but staff are involved and diligent, and quickly move people thru. Food is also very good, though it's missing the authentic setting accompanying food of this category

Fast and super tasty to go food. I really like to come here for lunch, even though there is always a really long line. They are very clean inside and my fav is the fish sandwich combo and extra festival. They lines go quick so don't be scared. Give it a try.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food is authentically Jamaican and delicious (most times). The staff are well dressed and courteous. However, waiting time can be a pain. Depending on your menu choice, you can wait from a minimum 15 minutes up to 30 minutes. The cost of meals is a bit pricy for the 'average Joe', but it is undoubtedly GOOD JAMAICAN FOOD!
