A must visit place for the breakfast. It starts early in the morning. And only Shivappa serves the idli's to the plate and no one else. He is the only one who gives you token. When you come newly to this place you'll have to wait and may get frustrated so I'm telling you how it works. Come to the place, stand in queue wait for Shivappa to issue tokens. He after issuing token would start giving the plates of idli's to customer. And there are two containers to make idli and Shivappa himself fills the idli batter for cooking inbetween serving idli's, issuing tokens and so. With that you have to be patient enough to get your token number and get idli's. He is polite and good but busy all-time serving. 12idli's - 60INR, 8idli's - 40INR. There is enough parking near the hotel. The hotel is beside the main road and accessible by car, bike. Not to worry much. Come with family, friends, bring patience along with you and experience the delicious Idli and spicy chatni

Trust me on this, I'm not even an idli fan yet I absolutely loved having idli here!! The freshly made hot hot idli with Chutney & butter combo is just too good for anyone to miss! Pricing is decent compared to how other hotels overpriced rates. Food is top notch. Just make sure to go there early so you can get your order fast. There's gonna be a crowd and a looong waiting if you go late so like the saying "early bird gets the worm" you gotta go early. If it's weekends then you'll end up waiting for an hour on minimum lol But even though we waited long time we were completely satisfied with the food

It's a small food shop which only serves mouthwatering idlis which is soo soft and fluffy just glides in your mouth when accompanied with spicy green chutney and butter. Prices are very reasonable you have to go early in the morning and take token and need to get the food.

At last the wait is over. I used to frequently travel this way to Mysore. Every time I plan to have a breakfast at this hotel then after seeing such huge crowd I would move on to visit next time. But during last 15 days I had seen some few customers that made me to stop and taste the idli here. The waiting period though it was 20 min. But the taste is worth waiting. The chutney is little high which compensates the smooth idli to make dancing of the taste buds. The 8 Idlis took a few minutes to complete within no time that much soft it was. Butter will give its aroma since that is made at home. They serve hot Idlis every time as each idlis are finished in no time. The token system is very useful here for the customers. Each customer who visits has to be blend with patience in order to have the taste. And the premises is very clean and neat request to maintain the same. So I guess after reading this you will definitely going to have idlis without miss. I am sure you will like it.

Tasty and soft idlis you will get here. But wat makes you upset is the waiting time. But the taste of idli really worth it. 👌👌

Once again visited with my brother shahid searching in a new things. We went for dargah automatically we saw this hotel.with ful of people groups standing. So wanted to try 20 min before u have to tell what u need only idli available here. Nothing else. The price is reasonable only. After getting ur plate with full of idli and chatni added with some butter. It's so good I have never seen the taste like that in my history ever. The Hype is Real. Best Idly I've tasted so far, do get there by 7:30 am or else the waiting time to get your hands on Idly will be minimum 15 to 30 minutes, as the entire place is managed only by a person. There are no sign boards but location on Google map is accurate and you can make out this place by the number of people waiting to get their hands on Idli. Now they have introduced token system.

Good chutney with hot Idly but they don't manage the crowd well. Both coupon and order will be given from same small window. Price wise it is worth but not worth of searching and visiting. If you are on the way, you can definitely visit

There’s no proper seating area, located right on the main road. But this place is a classic example for don’t judge a book by its cover. This place has the best idly ever made! The wait is really long. But the idly you get at the end of it, makes every minute of waiting worthwhile. You get about 8 idlys for 35rs and they all just literally melt in your mouth. The chutney is a little on the spicier side, but I love it! So if you’re spice sensitive Be careful.

Used to be one of the softest idly around this area. But now because of higher demand the quality has reduced a bit . But still 8 idlis for 40 rs is a great deal. Taste serves the purpose.

When you find a hotel crowded with locals, that is the place where you definitely need to checkout without having a second thought. Hotel opens at morning 7:30 AM and guess what, hotel will be crowded even before it opens. He prepares only idly chatney and it is served with butter. Idli will be steaming hot and Kadle chatney will be super spicy, by dipping hot idli in spicy chutney along with the dash of butter takes everything to next level and idli just melts in your mouth.

Idlies are OK as they serve it hot and boiling. Uddina Vade taste is good. Chutny ( the only gravy served here, no Sambar ) a little bit spicy, ok for people like me. Butter is given for name sake, but consider the rate (12/8/4 Idlies ₹60/40/30 respectively and Vade is ₹5 for 2no.s) they can give only that much, not more than that It is a normal Idly preparation. No extra taste. You can find it at any other road side food joint. I couldn’t understand why such an hype and mad rush here. May be because of cheaper rate and freshly prepared items are main attraction. Not worth for waiting for more than 45 minutes getting pushed to get token first and eagerly waiting for calling your token number, that too if you are on wheels for a long travel.

Dear people, if you want to try idli here you got to wait minimum of 2hours irrespective of the day. I came for first time and wanted to try idli here and started waiting waiting for also most 1+ hours and got tired and couldn't eat. Then I had to cancel the token and leave the place. If you have no other work other than eating idli and have patience then you can take a call. Else please don't waste time in waiting for small idlis. If there's a large crowd and if you cook it two stove customer will loose patient dear owner. Please add min of 5 stoves and cook then probably you can avoid the crowd. Don't make customers wait for 2 hours. please value their time as well.

We started from Mysore at around 6:30am. And reached the place at around 7:15am. Good amount of rush. Got the token at 7:30 and finally the idli at 8:10.. but worth the wait... We were a little greedy and ordered 12 idlis each.. but one could suffice in 8 as well.. Hot steaming idlis served with a spicy coconut chutney topped with butter..!

After shivappa passed his son leading hotel but still there is no changes made on taste. Keep going and good luck.

Taste was Okay. Nothing extraordinary. Price is really cheap. Waiting time too high. We had to wait almost 1 hour 45 minutes to get 1 plate idli. People who have idle time can plan. Not for those with time constraints shall avoid it.

It s a simple hotel serving only idly, taste of idly and chetteny is simply superb. Waiting period will be approximately 10 to 20 minutes on weekdays and much more during weekends. Make sure to add your name and number of plates to the person who is writing in a small book, idlies will be served as per the order in the book

Butter Chatney wins the game idli not as expected for the price tag.idli is average, just a village style hotel only have food for a hali Mane tindi.

One good,morning breakfast i had while travelling to kerala, i had heard many a times,finally the day came. You need to have patience, as the crowd will be more on weekends, and it is token system, they call your names, then you need to collect you orders. Better keep Cash rather than Other digital payments The Gundu idlis are very soft, and small in size, the chutney is the major player, as it is spicy and nicely grinded to paste, and that benne is the extra flavour for that chutney, it was Super good to taste. 4 Idlis-30rs 8 Idlis- 40rs 12 Idlis- 80rs For extra benne, you need to pay. Apart from what they had served initially. Go have a try, Its the best💯

Taste was good for idly but the chutney was really spicy. And I would recommend to have patience as the waiting period is minimum 60-90 min. Service is very very slow and I totally lost the patience and fun for eating breakfast. I won't recommend for the people who had time constraints.
