The
Barachukki
waterfall
roughly
130
km
from
Bangalore,
it
is
one
of
the
two
major
falls
arising
out
of
the
Shivanasamudra
dam.
-
Currently
there
is
very
less
volume
of
water
in
the
waterfalls
due
to
less
rain
in
the
area.
-
Better
to
visit
the
waterfall
post
August
or
during
September
month.
Note:
1.
This
is
a
popular
tourist
attraction
and
can
get
very
crowded
later
in
the
day
during
weekends.
2.
Try
to
visit
this
place
during
morning
hours,
the
gates
open
at
9
AM,
before
that
there
is
no
entry
inside.
3.
You
would
have
to
cross
a
couple
of
kilometres
of
very
poor
road
conditions
to
reach
the
place.
4.
There
are
no
good
restaurants
(The
Mayura
restaurant
is
around
1
km
away)
so
either
one
has
to
have
their
breakfast/lunch
beforehand
or
carry
it.
5.
Carry
sufficient
amount
of
water
and
some
snacks
that
will
be
helpful.

in
place.
