Good place for photography. Nothing much to expect than a road which snakes the lake and ends up in a small opening. Have some time to make sure you get the right place to get perfect shots from.

Its better to call it as Vasa kere dam instead of falls as its man made Dam like structure where the water overflow when the water level in the lake fills up

Its just a view point with nothing there except natural beauty. Its not a natural fall also, but its good to spend some time alone or with family and kids. No traffic, only a bunch of people are here at a time. Its on the way to Narsimhaswami temple in Melkote. It is at a distance of approx 50 kms from Mysore. It is on the roadside and one can easily find it while going to the temple.

You will see this lake while on the way to Melukote (via Mandya). You can take some pics also play in the water. Nice place.
