I tried their non vegetarian English breakfast. This breakfast platter was good 3.5\5. I would really again reorder and would recommend to others to try this. I ordered through Zomato and I would suggest others to visit and dining in that place so that they can enjoy the pub vibes. Bacon could have been a little more crispy, and they should have respectable portion of baked beans. Apart from all according to the buck it was a good.

Nice beer bar place with outdoor garden seating. Cosy place. We visited in the afternoon for beer followed by lunch. The stars of the lunch were Veg Spring roll, cheese garlic naan and Caramel Custard. The Veg Makhanwala could've been better

Best place to visit in Mysore. The price, staff and the ambience is really good. The best part of the pub is, the owner who is in his 75+ years, comes to each and every table and checks out the customers needs and asks about how the food and other things are. I have never seen this kind of deed in my life. Awesome and hats off. One more best part is, around 10.30 pm a staff goes around club rigging the bell to inform that it's the last order and customers are supposed to leave the club by 11.15. Love this place.

I went with my friends and spent around 6-7 hrs. Beautiful place to hangout with friends. They have spacious seating arrangements. Food was average could have been better. The quantity was very less and didn't worth the money. Please don't try biryani there it was bland.

No options in beer. You get whatever they have and it's just KF. If you are a boys group this place isn't for you. They have a very good setup with great ambiance for people with a lady in their group. The food is terrible. From starter to main course, only good thing was naan.

One of the oldest restaurants in Mysuru... This place is one of the best to hangout with friends and spend time...Great food.. Loved it... It was very tasty..The ambience is very cosy and peaceful... Feels good to spend some time around here.. The staff and their service was excellent.. Very courteous..What surprised me was the owner of this place who is in his 80s (maybe) was gracious and came to us and asked about the feedback..He visited all the customers and comforted everyone with a big smile on his face:)

It's been more then a decade visiting this place, it's straight up nostalgia. The ambience and the interior and the washroom has changed, it looks nice. It was good to see some of the old staff still recognise me. The order still remains the same , the taste still remains the same, the owner coming and talking to everyone in each table remains the same. This completes the experience and makes it wholesome. Would definitely visit this place when I'm around the next time.

Not upto the hype. The food wasn't good while everything is overpriced to the core. The only merit for this place is that it's more than 35 years old so you get that late 80's and early 90's vibe. It's not too clean either. Good for a one time visit.

Went by the reviews and on a week day much before dinner time. They still had everything we asked for. Service was super quick and food was tasty too. Only kingfisher draught beer available. No cocktails or other liquor

This is one of the oldest restaurant in Mysore and a must visit for proper hangouts. The food and beer served here is really good. Very friendly staff and good ambience. This place also has good parking facility for 2 and 4 wheelers. PS : Surprise element for first time visiters: The owner who would be in his 80s visits and greets each of his customer with a warm smile and makes sure each customer is on their comfort and ensures that you get the best food and service

Nice ambience. Food is not upto standard.... especially the Coorg dishes. English breakfast is ok but why don't they serve pork sausages if they can give bacon ? They don't give butter, jam and tomato sauce unless you ask. The toast is the tiniest slice ever !! Need to pull up on quality.

I ordered for pork fry. But chicken is mixed with that. Itโ€™s cheating. I am disappointed. Bad service Immediately after entering server is asking you want beer? What kind of attitude is this? Pork which was ordered came literally cool. We are paying money and not eating for free. Pls donโ€™t do this to a customer who is paying for the food. We see review and coming to eat in this place. I dint touch the dish and going to leave.

One of the oldest bar that has been serving draught beer for decades. The food was also good - especially chilly chicken boneless.

One if the oldest restaurant cum pub in mysore. I have been here for breakfast and it's a must try. They have both Veg & Non Veg English Breakfast. One should also try the egg curry with appam as it's one of its kind. All in all a gud place with decent pricing and delicious food.

Never have I seen such a varied crowd at a pub. From families with kids to youngsters to couples and people with dogs.๐Ÿ˜ฌ Not a place to bring your kids afterall with people smoking their lungs out in adjacent seats. The place gives OG beer parlour vibes and nothing fancy. The food was also decent but the place can get really busy especially on weekends with orders taking forever to get delivered.

Didnโ€™t find the place anywhere even close to the glowing reviews. The staff didnโ€™t allow going to the open air side saying itโ€™s only for family!! Itโ€™s just an average placeโ€ฆgood food. First time encountered a drinking place that asks to pay upfront for the beer and minimum is 1 pitcher ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Good for a one-off visitโ€ฆ

The highlight of this place is the food. I'm a vegetarian and I absolutely love some of the vegetarian items on the menu. I have no idea what they put in their Garlic paneer, but it is absolutely delicious. Do try. In liquor, they only have draught beer.

The Pelican welcomes people of all age groups. There's something here for families with little children and elderly folk, and also for the young crowd that are looking for a nice, quaint place to unwind. The food, the beer and the hospitality are unlike anything you will experience elsewhere. Perhaps it's because of the memories I have of this place from my childhood, or the close association with the owners of the establishment, but it will always be on my list of places to visit when I am in Mysore, or I am passing through Mysore.

Food was horrible. Okay place to sit with friends. Only beers available, no other soft drinks were available. Lemon juice was not served cold. Some weird smell was coming in the outer seating area. Expensive food of not great quality. Low quality cooking oil which was smelling bad. Ordered chilly pork & one chicken item. Both tasted awful.

Best eggless caramel custard in the world. Beer at great prices. Great staff. Great ambiance. Great for veg and non veg. Enough said, a must visit when in Mysore.

I absolutely love this place. It is an old place, nothing fancy but very cozy. Except for the pork, the rest of the menu is quite average. Pricing is decent. Staff is really courteous. I like the whole vibe of this place. Peaceful place to hang out.

This will be a short review as my visit lasted 5 minutes. My wife is from Mysore and wanted to take me for dinner and drinks. We entered the pub, there is a nice outdoor area with a TV. We were ushered by a staff member to an enclosed facility at the back of the pub, I could see 2 other people there. I was looking for some local, friendly atmosphere, so requested to sit outside at the front of the pub. We were told by the staff, that my wife, being a woman, was not allowed to sit in this area. I had to remind myself, the year is 2023 and not 1823, I couldn't believe what I heard. We left and we're glad we did, we found a pub further up the road called Pegs & Kegs, which was excellent

It's one of the cheapest pubs in Mysore..its ambinence is great..!! They only serve beer in alcohol..and for the food the quality and quantity are good and tastes great..!! If you are a beer lover and want to hangout in a pocket friendly budget..this pub is a must go to place..!!

Commendable food quality, but food quantity needs to improve. As the proportion size is small. I would like to specially thank the waiter who looked after our table. (Mid aged with natural bald gentleman) my apologies that I don't remember name. He was very courteous and quick in service. We loved it. Thanks Pelican team! :)

Amazing food and fresh beer. The ambience is beautiful. Highly recommended place for chilling. The owner is a very sweet uncle who comes around and checks on each and every table to make sure all is okay.

This place is one of the oldest pubs in Mysore. It hasn't lost its charm in so many years offering good beer and good food. I went there after nearly 20 years and it still attracts good crowd.

Was such a reputed restaurant, its a shame they turned into conning customers. Quantity of beer served tells it all, approx 200 ml less served per pitcher, waiter even justified when contacted. Beware!

Okay, so this review is coming after a long time. It's a nice cosy place. Sat at the bar counter, was lost in my own world, till someone came up to me with a big smile and asked me how my evening was going, I said great and he left.. little did I know that was apparently the owner of the place. Great food, good drinks but only draught beer on the tap. It's a must visit place in the city of Mysuru. The prices are also very reasonable. Not so expensive. Good staff.. Just that the place could do a bit more lighting, I felt there are dark at times.

An institution in it's own right. It's one of those places that infuses you with warmth, joy and happiness. The place and it's elderly owner fondly called as "Ponnu" puts customers at ease and reminds them that life is meant to have fun and not just be a blur. It's approximately 40 years old and still has lost none of it's charm. The beer is always just right, the food tasty and the service memorable. Would highly recommend the place for lunch, dinner or anything in between. They've introduced breakfast options recently which starts at 8. Options include both continental and Indian cuisines. Being a coorgi place, Coorgi cuisines are a must have. Ample parking and clean rest rooms and good ambience would make it a highly recommended place. P.S: Don't miss out on meeting the amiable owner, who will ensure you get the best food and service.

This is our favourite hangout as you can sit drink and smoke. Its in a great location. They have good pork. Try their chilly pork and coorg style pork. They have the standard beer collection. We got 5 pitcher of beer and multiple serving of the pork. Their main course is also great. Highly recommend this place for good food and beer at reasonable price.
