One of the best, good and hygienic hotels in Mysore surroundings. Couple of minutes from bus stand and RR Gate. View from top floor are too good and fantastic which can drive away your tension and stress. Room was very clean, neat and well maintained. Toilet was clean and hygiene. Restaurant was well maintained, clean and the food was good. The staffs were too good and they were very down to earth. Room service was good and on time on our request. You can have reach Mysore Palace within 3 to 5 min walk. Reception team was good and very kind to us. Daily newspaper services are available. Pool side dining was available. Drive away our mood in such lights.

Room was clean and good. Staff were courteous and professional. It was said to get hot water 24/7 in bathroom, but it's a warm water not really the hot water. Parking can be improved. Security person took our car key and they were keep moving our car to manage the parking space as some function/party going on overnight and many cars were coming in & going out. If breakfast is not part of your package, better to step out and have food. Food is not great, it is okay. And they charge 900rs for 2person for breakfast. It was not worth of it for bisi belebath and coffee !!

I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. The food at the hotel's restaurant was simply exquisite; each dish was a culinary delight that satisfied my taste buds. What truly stood out, however, was the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction, attending to every request with a smile and professionalism. From check-in to check-out, I felt truly valued as a guest. Overall, my experience at this hotel was exceptional. It exceeded my expectations in every way, and I left with a sense of complete satisfaction. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay

Stayed in the Hotel for just 1 night with included breakfast and the hotel has been very accomodating for us and the service of everyone was top notch there. Very happy with the food as well and even though they were a bit on the higher side, we did not feel it that much as we were prepared to shell out a little bit more as we were visiting. Locals also are visiting the restaurant for food during the midnight which was good. Overall very happy with the stay and the hotel team.

We had visited Sandesh for new year and did not have a pleasant experience. Cleanliness - we were 1st given a family room which looked very filthy and unclean. Had to call the manager to move to another room. Does not match any star hotel standard’s. Food - restaurant is serving just average food and keeps rotating the same food . We were offered compliment dinner for 1 night by the restart manager and was later asked to pay while checkout. Extremely bitter experience. Hotel Amenities- just average and does not meet any star hotel standards. Overall, would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Pls explore other hotels which offer much better experience in Mysore.

Had a pleasant stay here. Personnel are kind and responsive. Room was clean and tidy. Room service was good. Size of the room was good as we stayed in premium. Good variety of breakfast. But, I would recommend you to visit nearby restaurants if at all you want food for lunch and dinner because they are ridiculously costly. I had dinner and except few items that were bitter for which they agreed not to charge was good. But when I hear people saying this is a 5 star category, I totally disagree for the amenities and provisions in the room.

don't get fooled by the pictures. worst experience i ever had. they tried to force me take a basic room even though i booked an executive room, front desk staff is very arrogant and irritated while speaking. room quality is horrible with bad smell. none of the things in the room looks cleaned. Our room didn't even have a basic door mat, had to request for a door mat. in-room dining food quantity is more, but very costly and taste is very bad, we got uncooked food and had to leave most of the food. I felt very bad that i wasted a lot of money on this 1star hotel.

This may be classified as a 4* hotel but in my opinion, this is a true 5 star hotel in all aspects. Excellent location, fantastic food and service that's comparable to the best in the country, Sandesh is a benchmark on hospitality. We were made so welcome by everyone including the restaurant manager who called to ask how the food was and if there's anything they could improve! Of course the rooms may not be new or as posh as some other 5* hotels, but you're guaranteed to leave this hotel with a wide smile. The cherry on top - everyone, from security personnel to the manager all spoke impeccable Kannada! What more do you want? This will definitely be my place of stay in all my future visits to Mysuru.

In summary, our experience at Hotel Sandesh was outstanding considering the cost. We highly endorse it for those seeking a convenient and pleasant stay in the vicinity. The hotel's prime location in Mysore, within a brief stroll of tourist attractions, numerous dining options, and shops, was particularly appealing. Our accommodations were both pristine and comfortable. Additionally, we took advantage of the well-maintained fitness center and swimming pool, both of which offered a wonderful means to stay active during our visit. The service provided by the hotel staff was exemplary. The front desk personnel were unfailingly friendly and helpful, while the housekeeping team consistently kept our room in immaculate order during our stay. All in all, we believe that Hotel Sandesh delivers excellent value for the money paid, and we enthusiastically suggest it to anyone seeking a cozy and convenient lodging option in the area.

One of the good 4 star hotels. Luckily we got a room with bathtub at reasonable price for 2 nights. My 2 year old baby enjoyed playing in it. The staff are helpful . Food is costlier side but tasty. Complementary breakfast is so good with almost all type of items. We didn't make use of pub , bar, pool. Pool looked good . Kids play area is not that worthy for toddlers. Parking is bit congested . But there'll be security to assist . Overall good hotel .

Spa & Breakfast were very good. A big shout out to Masseuse Reena for great service. Stay at the hotel was much below average. We booked two rooms and travelled with a baby and elderly parents. When we checked in(check in was smooth), the AC wasn't working and there was no hot water in both the rooms. We had to make multiple phone calls to get that rectified. To our horror the AC stopped working at the middle of the night. We somehow survived the night using notepad as hand fans. Again the day started with making calls to get AC rectified and for hot water. The hotel definitely doesn't qualify as a 4 star property. We wanted a get away but ended up in not so good hotel. Hopefully the management works towards fixing the issues.

Excellent service!! Every one is very attentive to your smallest of requirements. The rooms are good, the bathrooms were recently renovated. Some of the furniture like the sofas need to be replaced. They are showing their age. The General Manager and his team are to be really appreciated for their efforts.

Definitely not a star hotel. Outdated room, AC not functional in the lobby and in the room. Biased front desk/lobby manager who are inclined towards foreigners not to Indians. Welcome drink served only to Foreigners. Check-in took close to 1hr. Average breakfast buffet. Had to call 5-6 times to receive dirty ironing board. Bell boys and security are so desperate to get tips every time we passed them. Would think twice booking this hotel in the future.

Room space is very less especially the bathroom.. They have tried fitting in everything there including jacuzzi 😂.. Location is in city center.. So you can travel easily.. The food is amazing.. I was here in 2018 or 2019 may be.. 4 starts for the food

We stayed in Sandesh Pride. The hotel is located in the heart of the city and very well connected esp. convenient for the ones who visit Mysore without a private vehicle. The rooms are compact and not very spacious. The pride hotel does not have a separate restaurant . For all food needs we had to visit prince which is in the same campus. The lunch and dinner buffets are pricey and have very limited menu for the price they charge. Non-veg has only one starter and desserts are also limited. The food tasted decent.

Good pool! That’s a big reason to go there. Our kids were happy. Otherwise rather standard, old-school 4-star hotel. A bit run down, but services ok. It feels there is more staff in bureaucracy than service, though. Good value. Would be four star… if not the following incident happened. Really disappointed by complaint handling: our driver did not get a parking and facilities for drivers are substandard. We wanted to sort this out by phone, but the receptionist simply hung up. ???

Hotel is located in center place of Mysore. KSRTC bus stand is very near. Rooms were clean and decent. Laundry service available with extra price. Hotel have not subscribed to channels, so TV was not working. Wifi was available. Overall nice place to stay. Room rent was little bit costly.

A very good hotel with a great location having the zoo and palace nearby. The rooms are quite spacious, though the bathroom could have done with some space. The room decor could seem slightly old, with the sofa and cushions slightly stained. Though there is plenty of parking space, finding a spot at night could be challenging, especially when the guard doesn't speak your language. The spread at breakfast is decent, there could be 5-10 mins of wait if you go after 9 AM.

The hotel is located in a great spot in mysore, just a short walk from the tourist places and plenty of restaurants and shops. Our room was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the hotel's fitness center and swimming pool, which were both well-maintained and provided a great way to stay active during our trip. The service we received from the hotel staff was exceptional. The front desk was always friendly and helpful, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping our room clean and tidy throughout our stay. Overall, we felt that the Hotel Sandesh provided great value for the price we paid. We would definitely recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the area.

I visited Mysore last week (July 2023) with my family and I am happy to have chosen Hotel Sandesh The Prince for our stay. Though it was a short stay just for 1 day and 1 night, we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is well maintained with a beautiful reception area and ample space for parking. The staff is cordial too. The room prices are reasonable with complimentary breakfast. The breakfast offers a variety of options including south indian, north indian, and continental, with a large spread of cup cakes, croissant, variety of fresh juices and live dosa counter. It has a well maintained clean swimming pool, where one can relax. Adjacent to the pool, is a kid's play area with some interesting archade games like air hockey & claw machine. The best thing about this place is its strategic location. It is centrally located with all the tourist spots close to it. Definitely recommended place for family vacations.

The Hotel is located right in heart of the city. It is in close proximity of approx 1 km from Mysore Palace. It’s walking. Enjoyed the comfortable stay. Staff and services were very courteous. The breakfast was typical and same throughout. Overall it was decent stay.

We stayed for one night on Saturday, since all other hotels were full. The room is decent , however lots of bad experiences. The most important thing of any hotel is the toilet. The toilet was not good, and the faucets of bath taps were not at all operational. One of the faucets even came out in my hand. The AC in room does not work. Even though they had a thermostat in room, the temp set was 18 degrees, but air temperature was -26 degrees. The parking space is very very limited and there is mo option to hand over your car keys to Valet (atleast I never give my car to Valet due to bad experiences in past). Not at all a good experience. Two stars for breakfast and hotel location (very close to palace)

The hotel is located centrally in Mysore city. Mysore palace and other tourist attractions are nearby. Parking available with valet service. The staff is courteous and rooms are bit old with rear and tear here and there easily visible to naked eyes. Rooms with AC has a ceiling fan also, which very explains why the cooling from the air conditioner was bad. Swimming pool was dirty with leaves all over it, however we had no plans to plunge in but even if we wanted to the pool was unwelcoming. The food was average and breakfast buffet was also average. The cupcakes was so hard that i have never seen before forget about eating. Decent place to stay for a small number of nights. Check in and checkout was smooth and staff had a smile on there face all the time except the ladies on the front desk which always looked tensed.

I’ve been a regular at this hotel. The standard has gone down. The sink in the room does not work, you have to brush and wash your face in the bathtub! Imagine the management if they can’t get a simple sink going. They say parking is available but it is not for us, maybe their VIP guests only, my new car was parked outside by the valet. I tried to complain, the security does not know the Managers number, I had to look it up on Google. And even after complaining nobody came to help. Only God can help you if you are at Sandesh

We had booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. A slight inconvenience we faced was that it took almost 2 hrs to cool the room and that made our stay a bit uncomfortable. They need to work on their Airconditioner system (feedback we already gave to the staff). Apart from the above, it was a pleasant stay at Hotel Sandesh. Their staff is very friendly, polite and have a smile on their face. The food was nice and had a lot of variety in the buffets. The rooms were clean, just had a bit of a foul vintage stench when we first entered for which we called for an air freshener. The location of this property is also not bad. We were able to visit the Mysore Palace on foot.

This is with regards to my stay at Hotel Sandesh the Prince, Mysore from 17-20 September 2021. I had booked a stay for 3 guests for 3 nights at the hotel and made the entire payment after confirmation on the goibibo app. While checking out of the hotel I was told to pay Rs. 900/- telling me that I was charged for the 3rd guest for only 2 nights and I had to pay the extra amount for the 3rd night. On repeatedly telling the hotel staff that I have made the complete payment, they insisted that the extra amount had to be paid. I am extremely disappointed with the hotel since I have stayed there previously, with no issues and also with goibibo for the hidden charges.

Had dinner with my friends. We had buffet dinner. Choices were average. Taste of foods were okay. Mostly all food containers were empty and the waiting was long to get refills. Especially fruits. Just watermelon. Nonveg chicken were bad. Overgrown chicken with bones.

Quick service with courteous staff. However, I felt the bathroom cleanliness lacked. And even the kettles weren’t properly cleaned. Food in the hotel’s restaurant was good but very costly. There will be a complimentary breakfast for two members per room. Others must pay, I think ₹400 for breakfast(buffet), if I’m correct.

The parking is cramped. The star rating is overrated. Certainly did not feel like a 4 star property. The bell people helped in overnight parking that seems to be shared between the showroom and another hotel run by same people.

AC not working in room. No hot water, only warm water. Age old property. It's better to move to better managed hotels. Projector was too old and no clarity. They simply don't want to improve I suppose. Will definitely skip this next time

We recently booked this place to stay overnight. Very avarage hotel. Their service is not good. We had to call the reception 100 times to change our bed sheets because those were so dirty and stained. For food we had to wait so much. People at the desk and in hotel are very rude, may be to non South Indians. Bathroom was clean. Food was good.

The hotel rooms are good but I had a very bad experience nonetheless. This incident happened on the morning of 28th December 2021. Our car was parked in the hotel parking, we woke up early to catch sunrise at the local peak. To our horror we realized there were 5 cars parked behind us. The valet present was extremely slow in removing the cars, the end result was that we missed sunrise! We brought this to the attention of the front desk, they weren't willing to compensate a single penny. We wanted to chat with the general manager, they refused. The hotel staff promised a call back, it's been close to a month, never received a call back! Not going back to this hotel.

  • 3/5 Sheetal P. 2 years ago on Google
The stay was pleasant - rooms are clean and staff is helpful. They only reason I am not rating it 4 is because the items in the breakfast was same for four days in a row. Not a single change in the menu. If you are staying for a short visit for a day or two you will find the food is tasty and the variety in the food. However, if someone has extended their stay, then the breakfast is a slight disappointment.

Sandesh The Prince- World Class Luxurious Four Star Hotel in Mysore, and its location is as distinctive as its Design and Interior. Conveniently situated in Heart of historic City of Mysore. The Hotel will prove to the travelers that, the best place to stay in Mysore is not in a Palace. With its majestic palaces, magnificent gardens & ancient temples, it's no wonder that Mysore has gained great eminence as a princely city. Combining tradition with modern opulence - Sandesh The Prince is reminiscent of the city's bygone era. Hotel Has 108 luxurious rooms, each with it's unique view. We have Executive Rooms, Premier Rooms, Executive Suites & Premier Suites, Multi Cuisine Restaurant called The Castle, Sizzler The Pool side barbeque Restaurant, Sandy's 24/7 Cafe, Khedda Bar, The Road Pub, A Out door Pool, Gaming zone for Kids, Health Club, Salon & Spa.

Decent hotel but definitely worthy of a five star for sure due to poor upkeeping of the rooms and poor hygiene. Excellent location, bang in the middle of the city. If you are looking for a place to just park and go around, this can be a decent option, but if you want to enjoy stay, there are better options.

It was a horrible experience I can say. The bathroom was not having proper drainage. If you put some water near toilet it will be stuck. When you keep your foot for nature’s call you will not at all feel comfortable able you feet will be inside the water. Pillow covers were damaged one one request they changed it. How can you give such bad quality thing when you are charging so much of money. The A/C was set in 20 but room was pretty hot.I doubt whether the a/c is working properly or not. I my booking the dinner was inclusive. I waited for 20-30mins to get some chilly chicken, roti, Egg salad. I called many people multiple times to get it. So horrible experience I would recommend not to stay here. They are charging so much of money for nothing.

Bit pricey since it's a 4 star hotel. But we never regretted staying there. Has a restaurant with Buffett but not much variety. Booked a room with a bathtub and oh boy I did enjoy my relaxed hot water tub
