I honestly cannot stress the fact that this has to be one of the best hotels I have visited in Mysore. The food was next level delicious, the poori especially was very crunchy, and the hotel overall gave a very homely feeling. The aunties over there treat you like their own and keep serving you fresh. Highly recommend!

Had a great traditional “Banana Leaf” lunch in this restaurant. We were were a large group of 21 people with adults and kids and were visiting Coorg and stopped here for lunch before getting back to airport. We called ahead and spoke to the owner and he made sure the service and food items were excellent. It felt as if we were eating food at an Indian wedding, and the owner was standing by the table personally supervising the servers making sure we and the kids ate well. Kids loved the experience of traditional Hindu table meals, which we do not typically see here in USA. Even though the restaurant was located in an Industrial area, it was neat and semi-open air and felt comfortable. Loved the overall experience and worth a visit if you are in Mysore.

Pros: Good tasty food, great location with adequate car parking and traditional setting. Also all service staff were women which is a great empowerment move. Cons: Desperate lack of management. Nobody to guide you to your seating. After finding an empty seat yourself, nobody was bothering to take our order. Also service is very slow. A senior looking person managing the crowd was shouting at their kitchen. Employees in front of customers during peak hour rush which is completely unprofessional.

Lovely yummy bale yelle food! Loved everything and dosa was crisp! Just go and enjoy! Hygiene can be better in restrooms and hand wash area.

Authentic south Indian meals (on a banana leaf) at an affordable price. Taste Wise, ambience wise, service wise its too good.

Food was below average. Except poori - 3 in number ( never seen such small poories) all food served was below warm. Food service is very slow. Just like in metro cities they make you ask twice and the customer gets frustrated and stops asking for more. Will such methods work in Mysuru. Unnecessary hype. Cost to food ratio does not match. They have to serve atleast hot rice as we have to go so far from city to make our journey worth while. Payasam was the only average dish.

Visited Annapoorna Aahar located in Hebbal Industrial area, for an afternoon lunch. The ambience was very homely and the meal was served on a banana leaf completing the authentic south Indian meal experience. The Habbada Oota is a special spread with Puran poli, Payasam, Dahi wada, Masala wada, Akki rotti and Gojju as it's main highlights. The food is economical and they offer 3 different varieties ( Nithyada oota, Vishesha oota and Habbada Oota) to try from, based on how hungry one is and how much they would like to spend on a meal! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would recommend everyone to visit the restaurant atleast once.

We tried the habbada oota the two times i was there. The food here is authentic and exactly how is would be when we cook food at home for special festivities. Good always arrives fresh and hot from the kitchen. Obbattu is literally straight of the pan. I realished the food here and honestly couldn't get enough of it. Highly recommend this place for home style food at reasonable prices and a hygienic setting. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a traditional festival meal!!

Am talking about “habbad uta” 1.Mainly the coconut used for palya and flavoured rice was spoiled, the taste was not good🥲. 2. Please reduce the quantity of zinger used in “bellad panaka”🤢 3. The rasam was so mild

Chandrashekhar owner & his son who are both knowledgeable & committed to give you the best food at the best price in a homely environment. Do give it a shot. Authentic vegetarian restaurant located in Hebbal industrial area, Mysuru. They serve authentic traditional plantain leaf meals on all days. Hyegine is their top priority. Habbada oota was the best which we tried.

Bannana leaf meals served here with limited and also unlimited available, must try akki rotti authentic food served here from last 6 years. It is famous for habbada oota all day hoolige oota, much recommended restaurant and parking facilities available, seating around 40 PPL can accommodate.

I was on my way to Coorg and was travelling on the new Bangalore-Mysore express way . All the breakfast restaurants now became not-reachable from the expressway. There are very few restaurants which are reachable and those are extremely crowded. I therefore was searching for a restaurant on the Mysore ring road and found this authentic Karnataka breakfast restaurant- Annapoorna Aahar. Its in the Hebbal region on outskirts of Mysore. People travelling from Bangalore to Mysore taking the expressway should come here and have breakfast. It has all the regular breakfast items like dosa, idli, sambar, vada, etc. When I went there they had piping hot holiges. Tea and coffee is also served. The place has a handwash area and a separate washroom area for men and women. You can park your car on the adjacent road.

We had Habbada Oota, delicious food, so many items, superb Sambar Rasam and so many other dishes with mini masala dosa, bonda, holige, payasam, dahi vada, butter milk Wowwww, good service by ladies staff. I’ve been here on different occasions with friends, with family, and with our staff from the hospital. Our collective experience every time has been far beyond expectations!! The food is always hot and fresh. The variety is great👍🏼, is healthy, and authentic!! Aahar, is a wonderful place to get real authentic food of Karnataka. The place is maintained with very good hygiene. They are serving nearly 27 varieties food and every item is fresh and hot while serving. The taste is still lingering in my mouth. The people behind are very passionate about what they are doing. Homely ambience, personal service, awesome food which cannot but remind you of home cooking during festivals! Our group had a lot of fun in this place. Only thing missing is a “charapai” to lie down for an afternoon siesta!!
