It was my first experience visiting a Youth hostel. The hospitality, maintenance of the building and the services provided were awesome. I liked it.

I recently stayed at the Youth Hostel Mysore and had a delightful experience. The maintenance of the hostel was impeccable, with clean and tidy common areas and dormitory rooms. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The location was convenient, with easy access to popular landmarks and public transportation. The breakfast options could have been more diverse. The availability of hot water in shared bathrooms was sometimes inconsistent. Overall, I highly recommend Youth Hostel Mysore for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and comfortable facilities.

one of the best place for staying in Mysore because its cost effective and this place is very neat and clean. when i was visited there we are late but they are cooperated with us . i visited three youth hostel but this youth hostel is superb in every point. Food was superb. i recommend every one who ever ask me.one of the good exp. the receptionist they also cooperative..and last but not least cooks are preparing puri at the time morning 6 o'clock because we have to leave by 7 o'clock..overall it was fantastic experience with this youth hostel... thank you so much for serving us.. i want to share few memories

I stayed at the youth hostel, least expecting it to be comfortable . I stayed for 4 nights and 5 days as part of the international children's theatre festival. Near rooms , bathroom and toilets. Value for money given it's a shared dorm. Highly recommended if you're coming in A Group and explore low cost stay at a well.mainrained government hostel

I'm a frequent visitor of youth hostel mysore. I prefer to stay here always because 1) top most priority of Hygiene - Rooms, blanket, bed covers and bathrooms are clean and very much hygienic. 2) peace and calm - if you are coming for examination purpose, you find no disturbance here. 3) Hot water 4) well and Great communicating facility people. Management people are soft and kind. Treat you with good manners. 5) money saving - for trekkers, nomad personalities it really helps. 6) Good sleep😴

Best place one can find himself/herself with their friends. Best accomodation facility, friendly staff, hot water for shower, maintained library and garden.

I was at this hostel because of the mistake of the driver of the auto-rickshaw i hired. It is a Govt Youth Hostel and being run by the Army Ex-servicemen. Budget hostel, secure, green and clean. Can check the availability over phone or via email. It is highly recommended for groups and students

The rooms were small but cosy! It wasn't a luxury stay or something but the room we had were shared by three of us and it was decent. Felt like a ghost house in the night because we were alone and felt like no one else was around. It's an alright place for people who don't mind rooms that are very old and the bathroom pipes are rusty and needs painting. In fact, bathroom was clean but the previous guest had left his soap bar and an underwear! They do however have rules that you have to be back by so and so time in the night...like a proper hostel kind.. We didn't get any food so ordered everything from outside. The price is cheap... that's the thing...room is clean but old and bathroom also is decent.. Cosy for people who are on the move and can adjust to this.

Cheap and comfortable for middle class family tour to Mysuru, Best for students, group, exposure troop and training met from private & govt institution, low cost for tourists.

Best place for accommodation when your on a trip with friends. Budget friendly for sure, there's also concession for students. It's also nearby to the railway station if you go by train. Place is maintained well and they treat you very well. It's not separate rooms per person, it's a dormitory with common bathroom. Place is hygienic, nothing to worry.

Staff was really friendly. I stayed for exact 5 days and it was really a good experience. I recommend students and families for this wonderful accomodation they provided. Thank u Manager Sir for such a wonderful Greetings and smiles u gave . We will visit again ❤️

In mysuru this hostel is very cheap fair for renting for a week and month also but receptionist is not good behaviour and food for north indian side is not good they serve only rice in every meal

A good place for stay. This offers a dormitory service at a Nominal cost of 150/- per day (10AM to 10AM). The bed has a mosquito net. Bets are neat and tidy except the bathroom and toilet. Reception has a reading area where we can go through Newspapers. This also has R.O Drinking Water Service for 24hrs. The building is surrounded by nice green garden. A quite and a peaceful place to sit. Parking facilities are also available. This is in the center of the the city. Nearby we have hotels to have food. This hostel provides online booking as well. I would definitely recommend for anyone who are looking for a low price and a nice stay.

Can't stay inside from morning 11 till evening 4 due to "maintenance" EVERYDAY.... They ask you to go out during this time everyday. So, better stay anywhere else if you want to take rest after a long journey you had.

The rooms were pretty good but the cost per room was bit high . The cost for the food is additional and you have to share the dorm with other people. If you want privacy, then it is better to choose some other place.

Tourists can opt for this place as it is pocket friendly for one or two days stay.. They will provide accommodation in dormitories for both men and women... Accomodation fees is ₹200 per person per day... Students will get extra concession of ₹75 i e., they have to pay just ₹125 per day provided they have to show their ID cards. Also you can park your vehicles in the premises by paying 10 rupees for two wheelers and 20 rupees for 4 wheelers per day... The staffs are also friendly... Hot water availability is there... Men and women will be accomodated in separate dormitories...

The staff and the Head of the Youth Hostel are very courteous and caring about the inmates/guests. The Hostel is maintained in clean and tidy manner.

It is a good place to stay in for students, employees who are coming for training or office work. Staff are very nice and maintenance is good although it is a very old building.. very nice garden..room is very inexpensive at this price

The taste of the food is good but is a bit too high on cost. The room was neat, clean and comfortable. The environment was calming and greenery. A safe place to stay.

8-10 years back this used to be a nice and well maintained place,,, not any longer. The rooms smell bad, there are bed bugs around, the white bedsheets are stained etc. Did an early check out

Suitable for staying students and single persons. Dormitory arrangement with 150 per person. They allow only students to stay long and renewal policy(5days) is applicable for other people.

This is the best host for students to take shelter. The staff members are friendly and helpful. It has been maintained properly and safety is given as the priority. It is home away from home indeed! I would highly recommend students who want to have a stay in Mysore, must go for youth hostel.

The rooms are good , but the bathrooms were not hygienic . The people and location is also good . The charge for dormetry one day is 200 and that for separate room is 600 . The charge for dirmetry for students in 150 only .

This is my first visit to Youth Hostel, Mysore. I am impressed by the ambience, maintenance and human relationship.It is in level with any private enterprise. My stay was comfortable and I will recommend this place unhesitatingly to my friends. Thank you.
