I know Nagendra from quite some years.No doubt he is passionate in his profession but of late he has become arrogant, extremely expensive ,and thinks he knows more than any hobbyists do.I am writing this review not to malign his image but to let you all know that there are many other extremely good shops selling same good stuff at ATLEAST 40% less and who care to take the time in explaining the way to maintain your hobby and enjoy it.

Very bad behaviour, doesn't give a proper information about anything. I think he doesn't have any idea about fish or related to that. And too expensive, dont waste your time going there.

Clean well maintain aquariums, with many Verity of fishes like Ram, Discuss , tetras etc but costly , quality of fish is bit OK.. But shop owner is most arrogant, fixed rate... In other shops at Mys u would get same fish fr less price with good communication .. Literally shock with his attitude no proper communication with new hobbyists ..

The owner of the shop is very arrogant and he literally didn't want to sell any fishes. Had a worst experience and never gonna visit again. Would have been better if I hadn't visited there.

They only want to sell the fish as soon as they receive consignment it's not a place to buy for beginners they argue if you tell The facts and pose they are very professional I lost all my collection after I purchased few dozen of fish from them I feel it's only money they look not educating the begginers I have this hobby from past 50 years please ensure that u don't buy if your s beginner this is my Frank comment for my small purchase worth 2000 rs from them I also lost my healthy fish this is my experience at wet pets

Google reviews are good but unfortunately few people like Ajay and their network are trying to threaten the shopkeepers by commenting negatively. This happened today in front of my eyes . Just think how is it possible that On a single day there will be a pool of negative comments from local guides .... Beware of this group of local guides please. To be honest this is the only shop i trust in fulfilling or satisfying my aquatic hobby. Few may feel that it is priced exorbitantly which is not the case. One cannot expect a shopkeeper to sell the goods at Amazon's discounted price or any other online platform price there are many shops who kind off sell an outdated or stocked up materials with a 40% discount which would be difficult to know if they have fudged the dates and prices. This has not been the with Nagendra shop.- This I speak with my experience on setting up 4 aquariums at my place and every material used are with the best grade which was recommended by Nagendra. He is a quite straight forward guy for sure but unfortunately few people who expect to breed a shrimp in a betta fish tank will think that it is his arrogance. Any person in a livestock business will just try and get all the materials sold out at the earliest... What I saw was the other way round in Nagendras shop... He will literally not sell the fish if it's not in a good shape or if he has fed them only minutes ago... When asked why? He said he doesn't want to create the stress to the fish and also doesn't like to see the pinch in customers pockets ... which would eventually take a hit in their satisfaction. This shows passion towards his work and thus makes me say he is customer centric I felt he is very honest to his profession and also customer centric rather than being money oriented professional. I don't know if he is a saint but for sure I know he is no less than a doctor for my pet fishes. Keep Going .... Nagendra

A fantastic place for anyone in the aquarium hobbyist. Be it a beginner or an advanced aquascaper this store has it all. There is a wide variety of fish. All aquascaping materials are available here. Definitely one of the best stores in mysore. The owner is very kind and will help you get your way around the hobby.

Collections of the fishes are good. But responce to customer is very poor because of attitude. If you are looking for discus fish collection, it good.

Just walkedin to check varieties and pricing...very very costliest place double and triple the rates compared to any other shops in Mysore. Also very rude behaviour of the person incharge irritates. Mostly costliest aquarium shop in whole Mysore.

One of the most knowledgeable person when it comes to aquarium hobby. If you are just starting or if you have had lot of experience , it's a shop for all. If you have any questions , you will be guided at the right direction. From aquarium, substrate, fish , plants , medicine all accessories are Available. From past few years I have been completely reliaing on this place and its worthit.

The store has vivid selection of fresh water fishes and crustaceans. The store owner is knowledgeable and seems to put a lot of effort into keeping them healthy. I will definitely recommend the store to anybody who is trying to start with the hobby.

Mr nagendra is extremely moody and responds according to his mood. The aquarium shop is most beautiful and very well maintained I would say. It is very clean and they have a lot of collections which is quite difficult to find outside. The fishes are amazing and in healthy condition to be honest. The pricing is the worst thing about this shop. The pricing keeps varying on his mood. Once I went there and he gave me 2 pairs of glow fish for 250rs. 3 months later , same fish he expects 300rs for the 2 pair. I am 100% sure I will find same glow fish for 100 or 120rs in other shops.There are few tiny fishes for which he says 300rs per pair which left me baffled. The worst part is how he prices guppy fishes. He says a pair of guppy starts from 80rs and goes to 180rs per pair . I can find same kind of guppy for 60rs or 80rs max in other aquarium shop in mysore. If you want fishes at reasonable price, I would suggest you to visit the one in chamrajpet near rajkamal theatre or sea World aquarium

Top brand's like Hikari,ADA, Seachem,aquael,tropical,API ,Eheim,masterLine and Fluval and huge collection of exoict fishes like stingray,plecos,tetras,Arowa,cichlids,drift Woods etc namany more good quality products are available.fish bowls are available.prices are also good compared to rest of the stores in Mysore. I would like to say shop has been very beautifully set up by Mr.nagendra Very hygienic one and colorfull exotic fishes. It's very necessary to guide the customer, especially when you plan for a new acquarium set up and buy fishes for the frst time, and I say Mr.nagendra is very good at this part😊

One of the professional Aquarium shops available in Mysore. Very reliable and good cost, healthy fishes and stocking as well! Owner is knowledgeable. He has suggestions for hi-tech or low-tech tanks, it's up to you to take it or leave it! Please make sure that you do a bit of research and spend time knowing about tanks, fishes, plants etc before going to any pet store. Expecting the shopkeeper to know and tell you everything in matter of few minutes is unfair IMO. Take an informed decision in any case! I was looking for Fluval filters and NT Labs testing kit for a long time and I was surprised that no one even knew about these brands. Later took a chance and visited this shop even after many negative reviews recently. Believe me I was surprised - This guy was more knowledgeable than any other shops I had visited. He was very patient and explained things which I never knew. He had many internal brands like ADA, Fluval, AquaEL, Shiruba, Eheim, etc and he had a very good collection of exotic fishes like Stingrays, albino arowana, extotic pleco's as well. I usually dont write reviews but I really thought he deserved this one. He is very thorough in following up on any queries I had.

I recently own a planted aquarium and I went to get neon tetras. I enquired by msging the owner about stock n price he responded very quickly. Shop was closed couple of times when I went there. When I called the number Timings are wrongly placed. When I finally got to there shop it was great shop clean aquariums and fish are healthy and has a good variety probably the best kept in mysore. Person in the shop was very reserved and specific. No discount on prices even for bulk purchases. As I am new to this hobby naturally I have questions in the variety of the fishes how to keep them breeds that live together etc none were received well. Aquatic plants are in the price range of 200 and 350. I felt very hostile. I waited a week and a half for this shop to open and like a child I was so exited about this new hobby. Now I feel so bad. I am thinking of quitting this hobby. The only good aquarium shop in Mysore sucks.
