It is place at the banks of kaveri backwaters behind brindavan garden. We had pleasurable moments with my friends at this place. It used to be a every weekend spot to chill with my friends and sometimes with my family. Just half an hour drive from Mysore. Water is clean and we used to swim especially during winter and summer when water recedes. During rainy season it is full and looks dangerous and bring muddy water from uphill. There is a Hamlet with fishermen who catch from the same river and make yummy fish fry to sell to the visitors. Don't miss this place if are anywhere nearby.

The place was so beautiful ❤️ I just loved that place. It was like almost a beach- waves, wind. Everything was feeling so good. I would strongly recommend to visit this place at evening and don't visit the place alone as it may not be safe especially after evening time. Swimming in the water is not recommended And please don't litter the place🙏. Carry all the trash with you

This is around 25 KMS from city center. This is a secluded place. Very few people are aware of this place and relatively crowd free. What we realised on our way back is that this place is banned for tourists and police levy hefty price our way back. We were even told by few villagers that police keep frequenting this place. There are boards placed inconspicuously in few places banning visitors. Although picturesque, please avoid this place as it is illegal.

Good place to visit for one day plan, but dont go more inside the water, after 2-3meters they have digged wells inside the water that is 15feet in depth, and 4cases Or death have been reported as said by the locals. Just been near the shore and enjoy. And visit it between 9am-11am because after 12pm the locals take fee of entry.

One of the best places to visit if you are in Mysore.. But please don't make the surroundings dirty.. have some sense in mind while visiting these places.. Please don't get into the water.. the starting will be plane but if you walk a little bit inside there are old channels submerged inside and you cannot make out and they are really dangerous.. Good for evening visits..

Best time to visit this place is morning before 10 and evening after 5...Water is so clean that you can play with kids.
