    The Unknown and Tranquil Backwaters of Doddakere is about 49km from Mysuru, located in Chowdenahalli village. Infinite acres of pure heaven. Ideal place for Swimming, Fishing and Playing in water. Fishing is done using Coracle, Nets and Angling. River Hemavathi and other nearby lakes fills up this place. One can walk on the bund and enjoy the cool breeze blowing all around. Ancient Kote Bhyraveshwara Temple adds a special touch to this place. Lots of birds can be spotted here, suggest to carry a Binocular. Overall the blessings of Sri Kote Bhyraveshwara Swamy and the relaxing nature surrounding this place, makes this a must visit picnic place with friends and family
