There's some construction happening at the point and there is no more a direct access to the banks of the back waters. The approach road is fine. Actually, there is a better straight road (right turn if going from Mysuru city side) a little away from where Google shows the turn (that goes through small roads among houses). Overall, not much worth going there. Was disappointed. The place has potential to be made cool.

Scenic view of Kannambadi Katte. One can see Venu Gopal swamy temple and KRS dam from here. Construction work is going near the reservoir to provide drinking water to 90+ villages.

Nice, calm place. Many people doesn't know about this place. It's behind the KRS also known as KRS back water. One can visit with friends or family. Can carry food with them and have there under the trees.

Had been on 28th Aug 2021. It was calm but Little risky for family as there was no one else. You can spend 1 hr here.

Beautiful place to spend time with loved ones. Recent construction and development activities by government has hampered the beauty of this place greatly though

Peaceful and untouched place in Mysore, spent some time with my friends during 2001 and its still looks the same even after 15years. This place could be really nice if the authorities can create a camping site for people to relax and enjoy the place.

Beautiful view. Visited during 3rd week of August. Weather was perfect and the colour of the water was amazing. 3-hour ride from Bangalore.

This is a secluded krs backwaters view point with restricted entry. However none of us stopped midway and we need to go on a off-road track for 2-3 km. Best views during sunset. Sad state is glass , plastics thrown at places. Wish it becomes official with guards

Peaceful, awesome place to be! If you are in mysore this is a must visit! Preferably at sunset, that's when I went there and loved it! Seriously loved it! Best place in town!

This is very beautiful place. It is back water of KRS dam. Very few people go there so you can spend peaceful time here.

Restricted entry, it's not a public place. Could see some local political party members partying with all bottles, thrashes around. Didn't feel it that great

Place is away from regular hustle of city. Quaint surrounding add more beauty to the arena. Sunset from here is really magnificent. Can easily spend 2-3 hours. Good place for family picnic as well.

It is a backwater . One side is blocked/ reserved by KRS Dam . Good for fishing , Picnic . Road to reach at location little tricky .

It's very solitaire place where not much people you would find and I would strictly recommend solo riders not to travel this road, instead group or a company is alright. On the way you will also come across a resort named on blue lagoon. It's an under construction road which follows to this scenic view of kaveri river.
