Long long back when I went, I really liked this place, but now the place could use some cleanliness. If they avoid food inside the park, trash can be reduced. Park was ok, not many flowers, it was mediocre. Water fountains looked good. I think I wouldn't visit again.

I have visited KRS backwaters and witnessed the most breathtaking sunset ever! The colors of the sky were absolutely mesmerizing, with hues of orange, pink, and purple blending together. The reflection of the sunset on the calm water was simply magical. It was such a serene and peaceful experience, one that I'll never forget. If you get the chance, I highly recommend visiting a dam backwater during sunset. It's truly awe-inspiring! 🌅😍

Have visited Venugopal swamy Temple and just next to it we have this beautiful KRS Backwater . The view is just amazing and perfect spot for half a day picnic , one can get into water and play around. Fortunately I visited when there as light drizzle and the wind hitting the face was something I can’t explain but can be just felt. The air is fresh and just takes away all the tiredness. A road patch of 1-2 km is not nicely built rest all roads are in perfect condition.

This place is must visit if you are interested to spent sometime with Mother Nature. I would say please mark this place for your next visit and you would feel what peace is all about. No words to explain how it feels when you seat near the water with very less crowd and hear the sound of water hitting the stones. This place can be considered for camping as well.

Nice visuals, the wind was crazy that day. And we went in the afternoon so the sun was beating down on us as well. Plus the last 1km road to the place is absolutely garbage, expect it to spoil the mood a little by the time you reach. Amazing visuals, pretty awesome architecture and carvings. Wish we went a little later that day to experience the sunset, it would have gotten chilly, and the beautiful sunset in the horizon over the back waters would have definitely been surreal.

The back waters are lesser known to people outside karnataka. A must visit place to spend some leisure time. Best time to visit is morning before 10.00 am and evening after 4.00 pm..

Disclaimer: the road leading to the temple or the view point is not in good condition at all. But it is a very beautiful temple , well maintained and the view was really worth it .

Love the place. So beautiful. Amazing Sunset spot. The beach, pebbles, and all.... Watch out for the glass pieces on the shore. And whoever goes there please don't litter and break glass bottles around.

The backwaters is a lovely place to spend an evening. The view is beautiful and you can take a swim as well. Advice is to go in the evening as the weather will be pleasant and you can enjoy your sunset.

Amidst the gentle ripples of the river backwater, the sun bids farewell, painting the horizon with hues of gold, orange, and pink, a breathtaking canvas of nature's artistry.

Amazing and peacefull place to spent the night. Many come here for a great sunset view. I spent the night next to the lake. And it was really peaceful waking up. Definitely worth visiting if you're near the musical fountains or the temple that's nearby.

The connecting road is very pathetic. You can't even find the place through Google maps. But after some off roading once you reach the beach side...it has awesome views and full peace . You can also enjoy the water at krs backwater.

This is a very beautiful place for nature lovers. No entry fee is required. We did a day camping there. The place is great for sunset pictures and for Pre-Wed photo shoots as well. There is no food stall so you should carry your own food and water.

Beautiful place to spend time with family. It's very near to Brindavan gardens. Instead of going to brindavan gardens in huge crowd this is a better option. We visited in the month of June. It all depends on rain, if it is moderate rain by now then you get enough grasslands to enjoy. As water level increases all this land submerges in water you hardly find place then. So research enough before going. When we went KRS was filled around half of its capacity this is the best time. Also weather should be good as you find trees far away from water. We went when it was cloudy so enjoyed a lot. You can pitch in your tent here and watch water which sounds like a sea. Cool breeze was blowing here. Just opposite side you can see Venugopalaswamy temple, which is worth watching. There is toilet facility available here. Near back waters nothing is available not even a water bottle so carry everything with you. Perfect place for young kids who can enjoy running around on grass as well as enjoy water. Do not allow them to enter water as it could be dangerous. Locals were taking bath, but they were well aware of the place and depth. If you wish to have snacks you can go to Brindavan gardens where you would find variety of it. It will hardly take 15-20 mins. Car can go till water. We saw many vehicles two wheeler as well as four wheeler. Overall a good place to enjoy with friends and family. There were people who were doing barbeque. Stay safe and enjoyyyy...

Good place to hang out. It is a kind of isolated place. The water is clean. There is nothing much to do other than spending time the way you planned to kill it.
