It's a nice place to witness merger of cauvery tributaries. River water is mostly clear and neat. However tourist have left their marks everywhere. Most people take a holy dip at the banks. Witnessing river flow gives a soothing feel. Other attraction is horse ride at parking lot.

Multiple reasons to visit this place. Just as a drive up to the river or to perform the traditional pujas or just for a picnic. It’s nice and peaceful but can get very crowded. Stalls and vendors are available all over and they have horse rides for tourists . I think these are former race horses which have been shifted here. This place is basically a confluence of 3 rivers and is considered to be a very sacred and holy spot. Please don’t litter if you visit.

Triveni Sangama is a beautiful place near Sriramgapatna where cauvery river meets it's tributaries. The place is very peaceful and nice. Early morning or evening would be a good time to visit. There are a lot of statues in the water which appear to be from old temples. There are a few juice, tea and flower shops near the place. Rs 100 is charged as a cleaning charge for people doing the last rites of dear ones.

A sad farewell to our dearest Jawahar who breathed his last at a very young age our heart goes out to the family. Triveni Sangama gave the family the closure as the ashes drifted out to give Jawahar's soul's journey eternal salvation.

Triveni Sangama in Mysore is a significant confluence point where three rivers - the Kaveri, Kabini, and Spatika Sarovara (a mythical river) - merge together. This natural confluence holds religious and cultural importance in the region and is considered sacred by many. Religious Significance: The confluence is a popular site for performing rituals and ceremonies by devotees. It's believed that taking a dip in the holy waters at this point can cleanse one's sins. Spectacular Scenery: The meeting point of these rivers offers a picturesque and serene environment, surrounded by lush greenery. It's a beautiful spot for nature enthusiasts and photographers. Mythological Importance: According to local legends, it is said that Lord Rama performed austerities at this confluence during his journey. *But this place was full of plastics thrown out, which should me made plastic free area to make our environment sustainable. As nature's gives us everything, it's our duty to keep it clean.*

I recently visited a place where three rivers converge, and I was thoroughly impressed with how impeccably it was maintained. The cleanliness of the area was truly remarkable, making it a serene and picturesque spot to enjoy nature’s beauty. This is Triveni Sangama located in Srirangpatna, 3 rivers joins over here. Kaveri, Lokapavani and Kabini revers joins here. People mainly visits this place for Pind Pradaan or Asthi Visarjan or post funeral rituals like leaving ashes into holy rivers and Pind Pradaan and pray for Sadgati of the left soul. We just visited the place to see the nature around and spent half an hour here. Apart from this nothing great here. No cleanliness, people through plastics, papers and leftover foods and used clothes here and there, that's makes so much mess aroud the banks of river. Parking fee of Rs 60 for car will be collected by local authority, that is useless.

Beautiful place to do pithru karya and 3 rivers combine at the exact spot where they have made the steps to get into water and guards are present for your safety. One small thing is that the place can be cleaned properly for more pilgrimages. Worth to take a dip.

The place is divine, people need to ensure we keep the place clean and hygienic. Found so many discarded clothes lying near the bank and plastics as usual. People collect INR 80/- per vehicle for parking. I am sure some portion of the money can be used to perform general clean up on a monthly basis before it becomes damaged beyond repair. On a side note if you are looking for a place to perform pind daan, tarpan, etc you need to visit triveni sangam. Pandits charge starting INR 1500/- for complete basic Pooja. No need to through any autowala aur someone else to guide you. They do tarpan in groups so be ready to wait. They have chairs for elderly too if they can't sit. Kind people. I understand every little Kannada but pandits were kind enough to guide us through the process.

Good place to offer Pooja and do the rituals. Water is fresh to take bath in. Request people not to use any soaps which causes pollution as water is very fresh. Place is decently maintained, You can do rituals on your own it's not mandatory to hire a priest.

Triveni sangam, confluence of 2 tributaries into the Kaveri river. Mainly seen families coming to perform last rights. Can be kept cleaner, there is a pay and use toilet and some shops along the way. Noted that there are several idols in the water along the steps, not sure why they are lying there.

Triveni Sangam in Srirangapatnam is a helpful place to visit if you would have religious motive and any rituals to be performed. The area is extremely filthy and unhygienic. Just 500 mtrs before the place they collect Rs. 60 as parking fee which is exorbitant as there is no good place to park your vehicle. Its completely your luck if your vehicle doesnt get damaged. Street food available there, but dont depend on its quality. Horse ride are attraction for kids.

Located amidst the abundant beauty of nature, the Sangama or the confluence of 3 rivers Kaveri, Lokapavani and Hemawathi is an ideal religious and tourist destination in Srirangapattanam or Srirangapatana near Mysore city.

Not maintained well...There is a toll on the way, which charges 80Rs for Car entry+parking near the Triveni Sangamam. The parking is also not well defined. The view is good but they should have maintained the area well. It is a confluence of the River Kaveri, Lokapavani and Hemavati

It is really peaceful basically melkaveri, you will see lot of people coming down for final ash immersion as well. To get down to the river you have to climb down slightly weird slope, so not exactly easy for senior citizens. There is possibility to ride round shaped traditional boats for rs 100. The water is nice and you can sit down and enjoy the water.

It is a place to do kriyas. Those rituals are done well. Whether we book beforehand or not, it is done well. The poojaris know how to do the rituals. All facilities are provided and we have no worries as to the method done. All in all the right place to do the rituals. It could be neater
