Dam built across Shimsha River a beautiful dam and place close to dam there's Ganalu Water 💦 Falls. It has an incredible nature viewing beauty. Its a one day picnic spot for Bengaluru People.

It is nice waterdam to spend 30 min to 1 hour. You can not take your vehicle till the dam view point. No special parking space, you have to park your vehicle around 1/2 km far & it is free of cost. Road are in off road condition last 5-8 km. Food & water is not available, so carry yourself. You can ask local people if you are not getting correct route till the dam. Instead of going ganalu falls better visit this dam because it’s closed from more than one year Both are in same route instead of taking left take right and reach here to witness the beauty Now water levels are too less better visit on proper time And ganalu falls fully closed no entry for public people
