It’s always nice to drop by and visit Manaoag whenever I travel North. I would really want to make it a practice to light some candles, pray for a safe travel, guidance, thanksgiving and petition for something I am wishing for each time I go here, usually via travel tour with friends. So this particular visit is a very memorable one since it was a first time for me drive here. We even had the chance to get holy water and bring it home. A really nice experience indeed.

We went here for a car blessing. The place is a go-to place for cars, rosaries, and other holy items for blessings. As you can see, the trees within the premises offer not just shade but also a cleansing vibe. We will pass by once again when we can.

I have been to this place in the past, and each time it was a religious and memorable experience inside the church, and a very noisy and festive experience just outside the church because of the so many vendors. Yesterday, November 13, 2018, a holiday in Pangasinan, I went there not only to pray, but with another purpose: to interview some people from there. I had a great time knowing about the place. I was so thankful for the hospitality accorded to me, not only by the church staff but also by the people around the church. The experience yesterday was very unique. it was in a way holier and more peaceful. There is a great improvement now! Inside the church grounds, it is now more peaceful. The vendors now have places of their own, outside the fences of the church. The best of all, one can take home some mementos from the church Store on two locations, one upstairs and another at the ground floor near the exits of the church.

It's a beautiful and sacred place. Well maintained in its entirety. Fully equipped with speakers and viewing tv's, which are of great help to accommodate a large number of crowds. Though it's a little bit of frustrating considering that people who visit the church tend to focus first on capturing pictures here and there even though the mass is still ongoing. Should you consider doing photography, you should do it after a mass not during the mass. Consider lowering the volume of your devices for once inside the premises during the mass. Anyways, at the back of the church you can find the candle lighting and offering area. There is a wide variety of candles for different purposes being sold. There is also an available restroom at the back, should you be experiencing the call of nature.

Just have faith and everything will be fine. Visit and say a little prayer to our lady of Manaoag and she may give you your answers. Have faith but be responsible when visiting because of the pandemic. These photos are taken on a Sunday morning that is why there are too many people. The altar is also being renovated so the our lady of Manaoag is placed in a temporary place.

This is a very old church with a lot of history and a lot of parishioners in a great location in a nice little town. The architecture and interior of the church are very impressive.

Very sacred tourist spot that everyone that goes to Ilocano region stopped by at this popular church to pay respect. Lots of vendors from candles to food and souvenirs. No parking near the church and has to walk through the vendors lane before reaching the gate of the church. Parking available just follow the barkers and they will lead you to the carpark. This carpark is available from the back of the church only as nothing is allowed to park at the front. Best to walk from the back to the front of the church to see the beautiful facade.

A very holy place. I hear it's one of the most popular religious destinations in the Philippines so I took a trip there and yeah. The place was indeed holy as it gets. The main takeaway though was that there were a lot of people, probably because the fiesta celebration was nearing. All in all great though

Well a beautiful church with numerous statues of the Saints. The alter spectacular. Said my prayers and had a learning experience reading about all the different Saints. Downside is pushy people trying to sell you everything under the sun.

A good place to be with God. The church is huge enough for people to attend the mass and/or visit. The only thing is, there are quite a number of people who ask for alms which at some point, some become forceful when a visitor does not give any. Regardless, the place is full packed/crowded so I advise that you always bring umbrellas, fans, face towels, and water. Always be responsible too. Do not just throw away your trash anywhere.

Over Rated. 1.Too Many People 2. Parking is a bother 3. Place is surrounded by stalls and stalls of religious icons and food Explanation (experience based) 1. Place is Crowded, pandemic or otherwise. 2. Locals are Aggressive when offering you a parking place, this was even before arriving at the church. Some, at the front of the church, will sell you a bundle of candel in exchange for parking space, for 10times the prices in the church itself. 3. John2:14 something like this. Otherwise the place itself is a nice view. This is not to discourage you for coming and praying, just be aware of people taking advantage of you. My advice, park somewhere else and just walk there. Early Morning or at dusk, so as not to be burned by the blazing mid day sun. On that note, Sunscreen.

Sacred Shrine and Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag. Very organized and well arranged place for pilgrimage and devotion, with several masses daily. The old church is well preserved and beautiful. Spacious grounds but expects lots of people. Parking is difficult.

Beautiful old church. We attended a service there. The big ceiling fans kept the temperature very comfortable. There are other activities on site, including places to pray and a gift shop around just about every corner, so you have plenty of opportunities to buy souvenirs.

twas my first time to visit Manaoag though ive been meaning to in the past. The whole experience was serene and comforting. You can really feel the Almighty presence in there plus the while calming sort of vibe. Main reason we went there was to have my sister's car blessed. We manage to go there via waze or you ca use google maps. There were many vendors there that sells religious artifacts and candles (though quite expensive at 250/bundle for 10 candles). I suggest you buy from vendors that are peddling rather than those with shops because its way cheaper. Over all it was a very enjoyable experience and I would go there again if I have the time again. Ciao!

This is the most popular and historical shrine of Our Lady of Manaoag. A lot of devotees coming here. Good we still found a spot for parking and it is too crowded. There is a big line up going to the sacred image of Our Lady so it is better to manage your time. A lot of souvenir to choose from and their delicacies and specialty as well.

My go to church🙏 for spiritual healing, blessings and certainty. I am a firm believer of Our Lady of Manaoag🙏 I love this church, solemn and peaceful. It takes me more than 3 hours from Manila to this church. Worth the drive! Grateful for all the blessings that were granted and will be granted. Amen🙏

Beautiful church with a lot of changes since I was last there. Some traffic getting into the area but definitely worth going to. Previously there was a lot of people, cars, etc infront of the church now it seems different. May have been based on the day that I was there. There is also a shop in the church to buy some religious items.

I recently had the privilege of visiting Our Lady of Manaoag, and I must say it was an awe-inspiring experience that left me profoundly moved. This beautiful church, steeped in history, truly deserves a five-star rating. As I approached the entrance, I couldn't help but marvel at the architectural grandeur of this ancient place of worship. The church's weathered exterior exuded a sense of timelessness, transporting me back to an era of devotion and reverence. Its walls have witnessed generations of believers, and the atmosphere was imbued with a sense of sacredness. The moment I stepped inside, my eyes were immediately drawn to the breathtaking murals adorning the church walls. These artistic masterpieces conveyed stories of faith and biblical events with such skill and beauty that they seemed to come alive. Each stroke of paint told a tale, capturing the essence of spirituality in a mesmerizing way. It was as if the murals whispered stories of hope, love, and redemption to every soul that encountered them. Beyond its historical significance and artistic allure, Our Lady of Manaoag embraced me with an overwhelming sense of tranquility. The peaceful ambiance provided a sanctuary for introspection and prayer. As I knelt down to offer my thoughts and intentions, the worries of the world seemed to fade away, and I found solace in the serenity of this hallowed space. The staff and clergy were warm, welcoming, and accommodating, ready to assist visitors with their queries and guide them through the church's rich history. Their passion for preserving this spiritual haven was evident, and it enhanced my overall experience, making me appreciate the church's profound significance even more. If you're seeking a place that transcends time, where history, art, and spirituality intertwine harmoniously, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to Our Lady of Manaoag. Prepare to be captivated by the splendor of its ancient walls, moved by the intricate murals, and find solace in the peace it offers. It is a testament to human devotion and the enduring power of faith. My journey within the sacred walls of this church will forever remain etched in my heart, and I am grateful to have experienced the magic and serenity it bestowed.

The Basilica exudes an aura of divinity, love, peace and tranquility. Access to the area is orderly and secured by PNP and private security personnel. The premises are well-maintained and public restrooms are clean and sanitized. Devotees and visitors from all social strata attend Holy Mass and take leisure time in capturing moments thru picture taking with loved ones.

Welcome to the Manaoag Church, one of the most revered and significant religious sites in the Philippines. Located in the town of Manaoag, Pangasinan, this church has been a pilgrimage site for millions of devotees over the years. The church's architecture is stunning, with its majestic bell towers, intricately designed façade, and ornate interiors. The church is well-maintained and exudes a sense of peacefulness and tranquility. It is also known for its miraculous icon of the Our Lady of Manaoag, which is believed to have healing powers. Many visitors come here to seek blessings and offer prayers to the holy Mother. We traveled from Manila at 12mn and arrived around 5am just in time for the 5:30am mass. After the mass we went to the back to pay respects to the patron and also visited their Religious store where you can buy souvenirs. Then we went to the statue at the back as well where we offered candles and prayers. Overall, the Manaoag Church is a must-visit for anyone looking for a spiritual journey or interested in Philippine culture and history. The church's stunning architecture, cultural significance, and peaceful atmosphere make it a memorable experience for all visitors.

It was really a peaceful experience (even though it was so crowded as it was holy week) You will actually feel peace being the part of that crowd there. The Church is really big and so magnificent. It's worth the long trip. When you enter the parking area just be aware that some sellers will come to you and try to sell stuff like pendants, necklaces etc. , it's just a normal thing to ignore them, I recommend to go to church first and attend the mass before any kind of purchase there. if you have some more time after attending the mass, I recommend going to food stalls outside and trying different kinds of food items there. I tried Bibingka (it's just like a pan cake fully made of rice and sugar) and it was really good and wasn't very sweet, also the buko shake (buko=coconut) it was in different sizes like 30 peso for small, 40 peso medium, 70 peso large, prices could be different in future it I think was too sweet but still was really good and refreshing. Note: Regardless of your religion you can go there, you just need kindness and love in your heart to go there, if you don't know something or get confused while you are there, just try to follow the crowd or simply ask someone, people are really kind, they will surely guide you.

We went to Manaoag Church on a pilgrimage. Everytime we visit our relatives in Tarlac, we would make it a point to go to The Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Manaoag. Next to hearing mass and offer our prayers, other exciting activity around the church would be trying the many different delicacies sold by street vendors. Our personal favorite is the puto calasiao or sticky rice cake and tupig. Catholic tourists can also buy religious items and have them blessed after each mass.

We are fortunate to live near this town but we opt to visit during weekdays and do it after 12 noon to avoid traffic and crowding of people. Always open of the public, accessible to PWD,parking spaces available outside, restrooms available, free collection of holy water at the sink near the vehicles' blessing area. Candle vendors available outside and inside of the church. People should observe & respect the rules of the establishment, they don't allow pets inside but we saw some visitors doing so. Local native cakes and fruits are sold beside the church. Be wary of people telling you its not allowed for you to enter the vicinity(for car blessing) as long as there is an on going mass...at the end of each mass the priest is going to bless the vehicles so just inform the guard you are there to have your car blessed and they will allow you to get in.

Met a friend at the basilica and was able to go inside the church. My advise to those who wish to go there.. Parking is no longer allowed inside the church⛪ grounds, so please wear you sun screen and prepare to walk and go through the narrow walkway towards the church grounds. Exit is also quite a distance from the entrance and can be confusing.. Not enough signages to follow..😒🙄 Warning:dont get carried away by enterprising guides who lure you to buy or point you in the direction of shops rather than the church. 😏 Inside the church, keep your mask on.. But the prayer time is great!!! 🙏🙏🙏

Usually crowded and people from all over visit this church.. Close drive from Manila and Pampanga..many vendors all around the church. Easy access to the heart of Manaoag, Pangasinan. Parking is a usual issue especially on holidays and weekends. Parking areas near or around the church have fees. But you can park somewhere in town and enjoy the walk to the church...a good way to look around, buy souvenirs and meet friendly locals.. Vehicles stop to let u cross a pedestrian. 😊

When visiting the Church, its highly recommended that you go on off peak hours as parking and getting inside the church may become challenging considering that there are a lot of devotees and tourists visiting the church. We were lucky that there were't too many lines going to the alter.

Located at center of Manaoag Pangasinan. I find peace of mind everytime I visit this place and offer my respect and prayers. A huge cathedral with a huge parking lot, a prayer room, a candle area to offer a prayer for the souls of our love ones who had gone to their rest. Outside you can choose a wide variety of delicacy to buy since vendors are allowed only outside of the church premises.

  • 3/5 Wanda M. 10 months ago on Google
The parking lot is a few blocks away, good thing we brought our umbrella. The church itself needs a thorough cleaning. If you're planning to buy souvenirs or delicacies, there are a lot of vendors surrounding the church. Watch out for beggars who won't stop talking to your ears until you leave.

  • 5/5 Jen S. 2 years ago on Google
Mass schedule is available on their website and Facebook page. Parking can be a challenge here especially during peak hours. Currently, there are no parking space available inside the church proper but there are lots of pay parking around the church. You need to present your vaccination card upon entry. God bless and stay safe!

Our trip to the North was long on a weekend. We left Manila at around 5am, grabbed quick breakfast, drove thru nlex and tplex. The RFID line was quick (best to load before to you make the trip) and we arrived just in time for the blessings before the 9am Mass. And yes there was a crowd. Entrance only through the front, then exits at the sides of the church. there are guards that stop the queue when it gets full inside and the perimeter of the church. Double face masks recommended and maybe a fan, though inside is cool and bright. Please note that the "pahalik" is still closed but candle lighting is allowed. The outside of the church walls are stalls of food and religious items, and there are more commercial establishments now in proximity to the church. No formal parking, but there are those who direct you to places for parking. May 4 is the feast day of Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag. Our lady of Manaoag, Pray for us.

  • 5/5 Jo E. 2 years ago on Google
Our Lady of Manaoag is open to the public. Parking lots are available in front and at the back/other entrance of the church. We were able to park infront of the church beside Jollibee. At the entrance, there will a health declaration area where you need to fill up a form and get temperature check. Upon entering, there were street vendors of candles, I suggest that you do not buy from them. There is a specific office inside the church where you can buy more affordable and varied candles with a receipt. This place is located at the back of the church and beside candle offering area. There is a line but they have 2 windows for cashiers who will take orders. The souvenir shop was closed when we visited but it was located on the second floor of the church office. There are clear signs to guide you around the church. They also have a Garden of Rosary Mysteries with life size images of the 4 rosary mysteries. It is a nice and solemn place to reflect while praying the rosary. Garden is well-maintained and clean.

The Church itself is okay, it's also nice to go for a walk, but unfortunately, from my childhood until now, there doesn't seem to be much change and improvement at all, especially for the lower sightseeing area, and the inside of church which will not even be renovated. It would be more attractive if it were more beautiful than before. And of course, the parking area should also be the same before because there was a parking area inside back then but now I think it's gone.

A visit to give endless gratitude for all the blessings material and non-material. Prayers to seek guidance regarding hanging decisions and other tough to decide matters. The only setback on this beautiful place is the agony of finding a parking space that you won't get scammed. Some may charged you 50 pesos on an hour parking and there are some that may charged you more than 50 pesos. A better road signages and re-routing of pilgrims separating from the public utility vehicles will ease up on the already congesting traffic route. Parking spaces should be controlled and authorized by the LGU's for better security and driving experience of the tourists flocking the church especially during the weekends.

Beautiful church. It is a massive church but not sized enough to accommodate it's visitors. This is a very popular church to catholics and non christians because this church is a place where most Pinoy bring their loved ones, brand new vehicles, items and memories for a blessing, in which they believe would give a great luck to them.

This is one of Pangasinan's Pride! The majestic and beautiful church is a focal point of our Catholic Faith in the North. It may be crowded, but we flock here because of our common denominator- our faith. I hope and pray that we can go back here again to thank Apo Baket, the Blessed Virgin Mary, for all the blessings she has given to me, amidst this Pandemic. (Photos taken: 2017 and 2019)

It was closed right after April 22 earthquake. Hopefully, it will be renovated and preserved since it is one of the beautiful heritage churches in Pampanga/Luzon. Parking is available within the church's premises.

Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Manaoag is a must see place for spiritual guidance. For us, it has been a yearly tradition to visit the church because of the blessings that we received every day. There are also things that you would want to do when you visit this church. This basilica is very accessible for bus commuters and vehicle owners. There are parking spaces provided but during the peak season like the holy week, it gets too congested. Also, they are offering vehicle blessings especially for those who wanted to have their new owned car blessed. You could also explore the store with good religious items, light the floating candles after a prayer, and make a wish and throw a coin on the landscape. Their is also a line at the back of the church if you would like to seek to touch the back of Our Lady of Manaoag. Lastly, there is a garden where you could walk as you see the different images of Jesus and saints.

Personally, I always do my best to visit this place at least once a year. This has always been one of the churches that I visit frequently. A great place to meditate and just spend a quiet time with God and with Mama Mary.

A huge religious site. New vehicles are being blessed here. How to go? From Manila, take NLEX-SCTEX-TPLEX. Take TPLEX-Binalonan exit. Church is only 10-15 kms away.

please don't patronised those selling at the gate. Those are illegal vendors, they were driven away before and their stalls were remove to provide better wider pathway for pedestrians and motorist. So please dont park at the side walk buying stuff from those vendors. There are stall at the parking area behind the school that sell the same stuff and paying taxes, rent and, follows the municipal ordinances. Visitors dont be like those hippocrites attending the church service but throw their garbage alongside the road and someone elses front yard. If you really know God then you must have respect atleast. Bring your trashes home or at least find some garbage bin. Fact you sa mga dogyut!
