We had a great time! Everything was so perfect! It's like living a life of a happily married couple in a castle. The facade gives an outside country vibe. Their swimming pool closes early, which everyone in the hotel knows unless you did not read the piece of paper on your room desk. Once it's no longer available for use, most of the lights will be turned off, and they would immediately clean and prepare it for the next day, while those trying to extend a few minutes can really not go for a swim any longer. Beside the pool is a bar counter and tables where people can sit and enjoy the poolside. The shower rooms are working, yep! We also love our room and the food. Always bring with you your keycard if you plan to roam around the hotel. They have a gym here, too! Their cake and the way they surprised me with their greetings were unforgettable. We will definitely come back here more often!

I was booked and fully paid from 2/14 to 2/16 but I have to leave after only one day due to unsatisfactory service and unpleasant room that was assigned to me. I'll make this review short, first, we request for an iron and and a board to get our outfit ready and be more presentable for the Valentine Night Event. The show was already over and the iron and board never came, all we get is an empty promise. Second, at around 7am our sleep was disturbed due to loud noise coming from above our room, it's a continuous noise. We paid for 2 days but have to leave after a day, coz they don't seem to care about their client. I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family. What happen to me may not a common occurrence, but I'm not spending my hard earn money just to be wasted by corrupt business practice.

The price of the rooms is as expensive as a 5 star hotel in Makati. The hotel in general is  aesthetically ok. The bedroom, and pool were enjoyable. There wasn't allot of people during our visit, so we had the pool almost to ourself. But the service was just  bad. To be specific about it, the people were polite. They were just understaffed, need more training  and some of the policies need to be revisited. For example, i ordered coffee, charged to my room, to be brought to the pool side. I had to go to their restaurant twice to remind the waiter of my order. When my order came, it was served in a paper cup. Felt like something I'd get from 7-11. I asked why is it a paper cup, the waiter said its hotel policy. The breakfast was sad. They were only three kinds of viant. And the choice were sad and disappointing. If you are to stay here for more than 1 day, you'd better off eating outside. The rooms weren't sound proof. Throughout the night and early in the morning, we hear the folks in the hallway and in the other room. SInce the hotel is an events place, expect that the noise will be there till midnight and starts back again at 8am. The worst here is the checkout process. There was only had one receptionist manning the checkout. Since everyone checks out almost at the same time, imagine how long the lines can get. REmember the coffee i ordered, i was asked to pay in cash, when infact I was charged 2k during check in to allow for room charges. lastly, when we were checking out, it was pouring outside. no one assisted myself, my wife and my kid. we were soaking wet as we rushed to the car. there was no one at the door to assist. not even an umbrella to use. for a price as expensive as a 5 star hotel in makati, this was a big let down. i guess they charge that much because there is no other hotel available in dagupan.

Room is clean, big enough, pillows are too soft, our beds are somehow comfortable, comforters are cotton, but bed 🛌 is noisy when moving. lol. I think the price of the room we got is so expensive. The bathroom towels are too small. First time in a hotel to get bath towels that I couldn’t even wrap it on my body and im slim. Sobrang nipis din so hindi po pa napupunasan lahat ng katawan mo basa na. Cheap towels not the worth of money we paid. Can you change the towel sizes to like the size of your pool towels? Mas makapal din. That’s a better size for a bath towel. Breakfast buffet food is no good. Thank God there is tea and fruits. I asked for decaf and one of the staff serving coffee said they don’t have decaf coffee. I asked another staff after few minutes and im glad they have tea. I enjoyed their pool. Some parts though needs some fixing, like tiles were chipped. Room temp is good. Aircon wise, hindi nagtitipid. Service is good overall so I’m giving 3stars. Atleast all the staff are nice and you will feel the hospitality. The complimentary water bottles are the cheapest in indonesia from my experience. And mineral water there even the expensive one ay hindi kasing okay ng water sa atin. Why not wilkins or kht ibang brand para sulit nmn binayad.

The Monarch Hotel is a welcome oasis from the surrounding provincial town. It was a surprise to see such luxury tucked in Pangasinan. The service and food were so good I forgot where I was. 😀 It’s definitely a must pit stop before heading to the beach.

A good place to dine in Calasiao. Good foods and excellent service. Good to commend JM, a very professional staff who made our dining experience great! Foods are also good. Our family really enjoyed it. We were also surprised that they gave special birthday treat to my daughter. Highly recommended!

Aside from the luxurious lodging, the resort features fantastic recreational activities suitable for all ages. These include swimming pools, water slides, kayaking, and beach volleyball, among others. It is the perfect place for an unforgettable family outing or a romantic getaway.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The lobby is amazing. New building new decor, and clean. Food at the hotel restaurant is average. First night we had dinner, the food was great but second night, I ordered chicken and waffles and that was very poor. Wine selection, however is amazing. Best wine in town, imo. Room we stayed in is not that great for the price we paid. The curtains are thin and not great for sleeping during the day. So if you like staying late, like me, you may not sleep well anymore by 6am when the sun is out. Even with the blinds down. Bed is spring type, moves a lot when you move. Bathroom is a bit big but basic. Shower is also basic, hot water is not very good. With complimentary toiletries. complimentary water is also available, 2 500ml bottles water every day. However, if you ran out and order the same, they charge around P95 per bottle. They do serve ESPRESSO though with espresso machine in the room and 2 capsules served every day! Room is clean, sheets are white and new. Aircon is also very good. Safe available. Working desk is also available. You can't stay in the room when housekeeping is cleaning Location is great, imo. If you like a bit of shopping or need some other supplies, Robinsons is just across the road. Amare Italian restaurant is also within the same compound. And for those who like a nice massage, Namaste is also in the same compound.

Nice and comfortable room. Great staff. Food is ok. Their carrot cake is a must try. Very good location as Robinsons mall is right across, and is a quick ride away to important destinations in Dagupan and Calasiao.

I stayed at The Monarch Hotel for two nights and I was very impressed by their service and facilities. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a nice view of the city. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they offered me a complimentary breakfast and a late check-out. The hotel is also conveniently located near the subway station and some attractions. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in the city.

Friendly and well mannered employees! We needed a couple of extra toiletries in our room and they were very fast to get it for us. They also have delicious foods! I regret missing their breakfast buffet but was able to enjoy lunch with the family. The hotel is near Robinsons mall and all other restaurants which is very convenient. The pool is also so nice specially in the morning time! Would book again in the near future!

Relatively new hotel about 4 years old. We also stayed here during their soft opening in 2019. This trip however our room seemed to be cursed or something. For one, the TV didn't work although we didn't go to Pangasinan just to watch TV. Concierge said something about the poor signal reception but we couldn't even turn the TV on for local channels. Maybe they should change their provider. The toilet bidet sprayer was leaking which is a waste of water. One of the wall sockets in the bathroom short circuited when one of my sisters tried to use the hair dryer. Anyways, the food was great even though it was a small selection. Breakfast buffet comes free with the room. Concierge, hotel & restaurant staff were extra helpful and also very courteus and respectful. By the way, it's a 4 star hotel just so you know.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is near Robinson's Calasiao and within walking distance of many restaurants and cafes. The room is well appointed and clean. The restroom and shower is roomy. The staff are very accomodating and responsive to the needs of the guests. They have a good breakfast spread. And the inhouse shop has interesting pasalubong items.

Place is great! It's located right across a mall, is near the town proper and nearby city, and the parking is spacious. Service is superb, and the staff are accommodating and kind. Food is very good! The lasagna is very good in my opinion, as well as the desserts/cakes. There are spots inside the restaurant as well as the lobby area where you can take very nice photos.

Impressive upscale new hotel in Dagupan/ Calasiao area. Too bad we were staying just a night. Pools looked inviting, but there was a storm, so we weren't able to try it. Buffet breakfast was plentiful, and the staff was incredibly attentive and quick. Ample parking, too. There is not much significant downside except the small lobby to check in with every person in your party to be physically present, or you won't be checked in at all. Such a bummer that they make check-in so damn inconvenient. Will return mainly because i enjoy the facilities and breakfast.

We had a conference in this hotel. The following are good to note: 1. The hall has high ceiling and the airconditioning is highly functional considering the high temperature outside. 2. The food are nice. Not the usual hotel taste. Tastes like "lutong-bahay". 3. The service is commendable. There are a lot of service crew who regularly attend to our need.

I love the place. YES! staff are so friendly just as you step in. 😊room services is absolutely satisfying , I salute to all the restaurant staff they have friendly faces.. they make you feel home and enjoy meal. But the front desk ( receptionist) like i said.. i love the place but i don't like their disorderly conduct. no PR!!! very poor in communication about the rule and policy of the hotel they are representing. not rude but no PR problem arise already in my experience but their face omg! the way they communicate very unprofessional they don't deserve to be in the front desk. thank God they have a manager who is so nice, friendly and knows what his doing…please do your work first before acting cutie pie with ur heavy make up and lipstick. over all…. im still going back to Monarch Hotel!!!! see you soon 😊

writing a review for a 5 star hotel is such a let down. the room was very expensive only to find the room looked very common. I live in baguio and comparing the hotel room I saw nothing special for it to be that expensive. breakfast is not free by the way. no smoking in the room. you have to go out to smoke. If only I knew before hand I would never have pushed to stay. book was made via agoda. and their support is rude there. never book in agoda. and there are far great hotels that is worth the money!

This is the venue of our wedding last 08.Feb.2022. A really beautiful 5-star hotel. Ms. April Joy one of their sales associate is very helpful all through out the process from inquiry, reservation until our dream wedding and 1 more stay overnight. Thank you The Monarch Hotel for the dream wedding come true.

One of the best hotels in Pangasinan. 4 stars because the key doors are battery operated and it just so happened that when we tried opening the door with our key card, it can't be opened. We had to call costumer service and the maintenance to open the door for us. That was when we learned that doors were battery operated. But over all, everything was great ;)

Unable to get pictures but this place if fitted for busineman and the likes, young and old. The restaurant serves sumptuous dishes. The ambiance is cool with beautiful and handsome staffs.

Very convenient, right in front of a mall. Breakfast buffet has few choices just right for worth P500. Very nice 2 pool area, 4ft and 2ft deep respectively.

The place is very cozy, clean and the staffs are very friendly they always greet you very politely. Price is affordable considering the hotel rank. Want to go back again and stay for a night or 2.

Room was neat given that the establishment is relatively new. Price on par, but service lagged behind 3-4 star hotels in Manila. Receptionists do not return inquiries, but tenacious on payments. There were insects swimming on the kiddie pool, as well. Not exceptional, good place to rest while in Pangasinan.

  • 5/5 Nichelle N. 1 year ago on Google
The buffet was amazing. The food selection changes every now and then. I'll keep coming back to taste the new menu! There's also a strip of new restaurants (milk tea, coffee shop etc) within the compound. The service here is better than any other hotel I've been to.

Awesome weekend with my friends at The Monarch Hotel! Amazing stay Great place Friendly staff Comfortable and relaxing room Nice amenities Delicious food The only beautiful hotel at Pangasinan! Thank you The Monarch for a well spend weekend. We will definitely come back.

Service is not good for the price. Very little food options. The area dont have good food options either. You need to go down for food delivery. In hotel restaurant doesn't want to deliver your complimentary breakfast to your room unless you are sick. The room doesn't even have trash cans, no utensils. You can hear everyone at the hallway. Doors opening/closing. People walking and talking. Definitely not quiet. Only upside is the swimming pool. Will not be coming back to this hotel.

Monarch Hotel is a cut above the rest. This is my best bet when it comes to top class hotel accommodation and fine dining experience

  • 3/5 B “Logan” R. 1 year ago on Google
Their service is not STANDARD in the hotel business. They have a long way to go before they can say that ....they claim to be but NOPE. Who calls up someone at 1am to ask a question to the guest??? Weird. Buffet is sub par....lots of flies to deal with while your eating. They even burned a part of the buffet because they had a lot of candles all over to shoo away the flies which literally did not work. Leaking ceiling in the buffet area you have to avoid being dripped on by who knows what liquid is falling from there. Hotel look from the outside is very nice thus deceives one that is checking in. If you are used to an INN in the states then you are at home in this place. This place was saved from a one start because rooms are clean because it's a newer hotel but that's it.

Staff very responsive to your needs. Breakfast Buffet could use improvement, maybe variety. A little pricey for the location I think. Overall experience is almost perfect.
