A
new
cafe
has
opened
in
town!
Javeritas,
a
coined
name
from
two
words,
"java"
and
the
Latin
"veritas",
translates
to
"coffee"
and
"truth".
The
cafe
is
located
just
along
the
highway
of
Dagupan
-
Urdaneta,
and
right
across
Dagupena
Restaurant
and
Robinsons
Pangasinan.
It
is
technically
in
Calasiao
territory
and
isn't
hard
to
miss.
You
can
immediately
see
the
bricked
wall
exterior
and
the
dark
French-styled
arched
windows.
At
night,
the
amber
lighting
illuminates
from
the
inside
and
you
are
drawn
by
the
coziness
of
the
place.
The
decor
is
a
minimalist
dream,
gray
and
white
subdued
painted
walls
with
a
few
personal
artworks
of
one
of
the
owners
hang
from
one
side,
while
the
bar
counter
sits
perpendicularly.
There
is
ample
seating,
with
several
tables
and
chairs,
a
high
table/bar
on
one
side
facing
their
huge
glass
windows,
and
a
comfy
love
seat.
As
a
starting
up
cafe,
they
already
have
an
array
of
drinks
to
choose
from
(see
attached
menu)
and
baked
pastries
and
cakes
to
compliment
that
perfect
cup
of
espresso.
Personally,
I
ordered
the
Matcha
frappe
since
I
always
make
it
a
point
to
do
this
whenever
I
visit
a
cafe,
in
line
with
my
search
for
the
perfect
matcha
drink.
My
friends
ordered
a
hot
and
iced
Caramel
Macchiato,
and
an
iced
Dark
Chocolate
Mocha
Frappe.
In
my
opinion,
the
sweetness
is
perfect,
while
my
companions
prefer
it
to
be
a
bit
sweeter.
I
would
suggest
you
can
mention
this
to
the
barista
if
you'd
like
it
to
tailored
to
your
taste.
They
were
even
kind
enough
to
add
cream
to
the
iced
Macchiato,
since
there
is
no
frappe
version
just
yet.
I
noted
that
the
Pumpkin
Spice
latte
and
Smores
Frappe
is
popular.
I'll
try
those
next
time.
The
vibe
was
so
chill
that
we
stayed
there
for
an
hour
or
more,
since
I
lost
track
of
time.
They
recently
opened
this
month
of
February
and
you
can
definitely
bring
your
date
there
today.
They’re
open
everyday
from
9:00
AM
-
10:00
PM
(last
order
at
9:50
PM)
