The Obelisk in Costinesti, inaugurated on June 3, 2006, with a height of 18 meters and a weight of 200 tons, consists of 6 pieces that suggest the mast of a ship with windbreakers. The author of the monument is Wilhem Demeter. Over time, Obelisk has become the meeting point for young people and the place where most of the concerts and summer events in the resort are organized.

It's lovely if you don't mind crowded beaches. But the garbage becomes a problem towards sunset, as the beach empties and humans fail to clean after themselves.

Nice Beach,water clean ,shops and restaurants very near. Fantastic place for family and friends !!!

Small portion of beach, very dirty. You need to look before stepping. I wouldn't recommend foing here, it's better to stay at home.

Standing tall, this structure is in a way symbolic and best part of it : it's big and you can use it to not get lost :))

It's not anymore what it used to be in the past. Lots of shops and street food not very pleasant, it looks dodgy this days. If it's possible just to stop for a short time, see the wreck of an old cargo vessel and after continue you're trip somewhere else

It will be amazing if it will be clean around it. That's my biggest concern.
