Never again. It looks like the setting of a horror film. It is crowded and very dirty. It looks like the love child of a junkyard and a camping site from the 80s.

One of the best camp sites in Bulgaria. It offers a unique view, access to everything needed and has a near 8km beach strip.

- Toilets are disgusting, I guess they are never cleaned, most of them are broken. - insects in showers - Kitchen is disgusting, moss grows in sinks - rubbish EVERYWHERE + Awesome beach, 20 meters away from the camping + Calm, quiet, possibility to set tent in shadow

I prefer to travel 7 hours, instead of 4 as a local Bulgarian, just to experience the warm welcome, and the WARM water. Bulgarian camp's have a lack of warm water, which is not an issue here. The warm, doesn't end here. The warm welcome, the restaurant with sea view are one of a kind. The beach under the camp site is not the best, but nearby you can chose a different every day of the week. It's not crowded nighter on the beaches nearby. It's worth the effort experience, considered the lowest price for a stay per person. Haven't tried the small houses, but they look pretty sweet from the outside. Will return back every year for sure!

It's good and quiet place. Always has hot water, the beach is just one the side of the camp, very close. But there is no shop and the restaurant is bad, the food is awful for a high price for that kind of place.

Simple camp right over the beach. There's big gazebo and outside kitchen (more like sink to wash your dishes) Toilets and showers were very dark and not very clean.. also there's no toilet paper.. Restaurant with reception looked quite nice, with pretty view. They've got draft beer. Sea is full of seaweed/kelp and beach is quite stinky because of it.. Near the beach is some sort of small "port" (there's a lot of small boats on land) and there's a lot of rubbish.. Also there's a small grey and very very skinny doggo. She belongs to no one.. she is very friendly, but keeps her distance if you don't call for her. She really needs to be fed..

The access to the seaside is great and the staff are polite and attentive. The place has a wonderful green vibe being situated in a great little park. Having said that, toilet facilities can be appalling; the windows in some bungalows don’t close and the rooms are old, dirty and have not been renovated since the 1970s to say the least. If you don’t have a car or bicycle, don’t even think about it — the nearest shops are in the village 4km away, and the food in the restaurant is not great.

It is a good place for people that like to camp!

It's nice and quiet, but the toilets are not so clean, the fridges are very old and the garbage can be emptied more often.

Looks nice from outside, BUT I was there just to get dinner at the nearby restaurant! "Restaurant "Chaika", Unnamed Road,, 9670 Durankulak, Bulgaria" By the way..... they have a great menu, from my side... delicious!

At the besch with a wonderful view

Many of us like being pampered in posh restaurants and standardized beaches. But, dare to go a little bit outside your confort zone and you'll be happier and gain a lot of peace of mind. The beach has no lounges or beach bars, but it's beautiful just because of its wildness. The restaurant appears tobe a relict of the 80's but if you step into you will find an atmosphere you'll remember. I will come again for sure!

We wanted to stay there and phoned them. They don't speak english, they're rude and unpolite. They only said 'no' to everything and hang up.

Imagine that you travel to Cosmos. Thi is OLD Bulgarian style! You love it or hate it ;) $$ = 30€ for Motorhome 2+2 one night stay. -Everything there is OLD and not well keeped -Small toilets ind bad condition -No sea view from camping places ( front line you have to rent a trailer) +quiet place +not to crowded

They could be a little bit more active, cleaning the shore from see weed, to prevent the smell from decomposition.

Bungalows are in very bad shape, but they have a bathroom with hot water, shower and wc. Linen was clean. Rooms are shabby and old. Camping is nice. You can make your fire, i saw a fridge and a few sinks. Restaurant is OK. Overall Cosmos is good!

When stayed at our own tent, the common bathrooms and toilets we're disgusting full of frogs and human feces in the toilets. On the next day a lady cleaned them, so they were a bit more acceptable for a camping condition. There was warm water which was the good thing. The place has not been renovated since the Soviet time. The food was poor. At least the restaurant had clean and renovated toilet. We only ask for clean place with at least average food. The service at least was good from one of the boys at the register/restaurant. The beach is fine and unpopular, so that gives the spot extra points. Apart from this friends of mine who stayed at their bungalows said it was fine. So for camping on a gent, it is not a great idea.

Nice campsite by the Black Sea. Not expensive. Restaurant. Come and see.

It's a cheap place with little to be expected from it. The bathrooms have a medieval feel. Yet the beach and the sea are beautiful and it is a good alternative for sleeping, to Vama Veche, Romania. In fact this place is the exact opposite to the neighbouring Romanian village of V.V.

А good camping - lovely nature, but one of the toilets are unusable and the other ones are so tight you can barely sit.

Very dirty bath and toilet area, broken showers and very dirty place. Toilet is very hard to use because it is very small, I'm wondering have the host ever tried to use it to see how it working when you close the door, expecially the women's one. Loud music till morning from everywhere in the capmside, and place is like there is no host to control this. 3 old fridges, that looks they stayed there since the beginning of the camping, one of which was working but was very smelly cause of the with spailed food inside. Big thrashbins in the camping and if you camper or tent is around them it smell like dead animals. We planned to stay for a week but left after the first night and we went to wild camping, it was a better option than Cosmos.

Wonderful place cheap for it's quo lity

Location is perfect. Far from everything. There are a lot of parking place. There's a lot of space for playing. The sea is quite around the corner. This place is perfect for family and friends. What needs improvement - the hygiene. If it was clean and a bit more cozy this place will be 5 star place. I hope that the owners will have this in mind. Just a consultation with a good designer will help the situation go in the right direction. I will be happy to come again and see the renovations. I like when the places change for good.
