Everything was disappointing. The rooms were small and unattended. The bathrobes had holes in them for some reason. The access cards weren't working properly. The staff (except cleaning service) was not trained, they were all young and unprofessional (I waited 30 minutes for a poor quality martini, I opened bottles on my own). The waiters were arguing among themselves in front of clients, also they were leaning on clients' stools. The food was miserable, there were only a few options and basically same dishes for breakfast/dinner. The water wasn't even cool and the single glass of wine was impossible for tasting. The room service is not available (contrary to advertising), a la carte menus are not available, the pool wasn't cleaned in 3 days and I couldn't even imagine myself inside it. WiFi not working. The only things that were all right were the elevator and the mosquito net. Also, the beach and other restaurants (Delfinul, for example) were close enough. I would return here only to strengthen my sarcasm and surviving abilities.

This is a place that has seen better days. The rooms are old and not properly maintained and the general feeling is closer to a 3 star rating. This includes the food buffet, which is passable at most. The staff is helpful and generally client-oriented. Pool terrace is decent. Plenty of parking available around. Beach in close proximity, but be aware, the shortest route implies steep stair climbing.

Cocor Spa is the worst spa I have ever came across. The unprofessionalism of the staff had the a stress effect on me, the opposite of what i should have got for the money i paid.

My wife an I wanted a lunch, and asked some inforfmation at the reception. A "boss" woman /" oralista" invited us to leave the restaurant immediatly... we dit it without a word. In more than 20 years in Canada we din't see something like that. Long life for the manager!

The food is absolutely nasty. Mostly frozen. The spa is not included in the high room price and the rooms are just for lack of better words 2 star rooms. I wouldn't come back here even for free. This is not by far a 4 star hotel!

The hotel has an exceptional restaurant manager and kind young staff. Food very varied and very good, fresh. The coffee is a very good one. Clean, beautiful but outmoded rooms for 4 stars. The beach is the best .

Quiet, perfect for families (they have free entertainment for children), indoor playground, outside playground in the shadow of some trees, small swimming pool for children. Close to the beach (200 m) Would return anytime and recommend to anyone.

The four star rating is a bit overblown, but I don't have much to complain about. Rooms are small but clean, AC works on cooling only, bathroom facilities are adequate. Staff is friendly and efficient, and the general mood is good. As an added benefit, children under 16 are not allowed in the spa and inside pool sections - so you can enjoy a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Food was decent, although being the last few days of the season it might not have been made with fresh products. Prices are higher than expected given the conditions, but within reason. Expect to pay around 400€ on spa services if you go daily for a week. There's also a clinic in the hotel specialised on emergency services. The beach is within 5 minutes of walking.

The hotel offers a similar all-inclusive experience to the ones in Greece or Bulgaria but for Romania it feels very expensive (considering the CONs points below). PROs: All-inclusive experience (restaurant, pool-bar, reception bar, spa) Restaurant and bar staff was very prompt and helpful. Reception and cleaning staff, not so much. Food was decent (breakfast + dinner). A suggestion - please include child friendly options at all times (nuggets/hotdog/french fries/pasta). For adults there was always a choice between pork/fish and the alternate chicken/beef but for the kids it was more challenging. CONs: Pool towel policy was not clear (or advertised). There was a lady that came once by the pool and distributed (or changed?) pool towels but when and where to find her was not clear. In the room we were given 2 big towels + 2 small ones for a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids). Additional were brought when we notified reception that additional towels are needed, however in the next days, the cleaning ladies reverted to default number. Had to ask at reception for a drying rack for the balcony which is sort of default in other sea-side resorts. Could not turn off the AC in the double superior room - it was on all night long unless I removed the electricity card from the socket. Complicated booking calculations (room + additional beds and so on). In the end I paid one extra bed for a 8y old child which was not installed because of lack of space in the room. Kids and evening entertainment - activities and schedule not clearly advertised. The inflatable castle by the pool need a good cleaning or to be replaced. Overall, it was a good experience for our family, but with some minor improvements it could be much better in the future. Our room (double superior room) was fine, but 3 other standard rooms booked by family members in our group had issues (smell, bathroom leakage or air conditioning).

Great place, good food, nice gym and spa. The only minus is that the rooms are kind of small and the furniture outdated.

Pro: Good Location and nice beach. Also decent food. Cons: The hotel doesn't have own beach. Bath vent didn't worked and they couldn't repair it.

They probably have a more modern wing, but the room we've stayed in, is 3 stars tops (not 4 as the hotel has). Small, old and used furniture, outdated bathroom. The food is very good and varies from day to day (open buffet). Staff is young and have more to learn about 4* conduct but they show willingness to assist. Ok overall experience but expected more from a 4* hotel, on the room comfort side.
