The waiter was nice, very careful with the needs of the customers. The food is good, but you mostly pay for location which is really great.

Great food and view of the lake

I believe it's one of the best places to eat out when visiting Venus. It was our go to option for our 2 days getaway on the seaside. Good atmosfere, nice place, great service. Our lady waiter explained to us all the fishes from the menu, a service we highly appreciate, because at no other location we hadn't had such a good explanation, or any what so ever. For fish dinning experience I highly recommend.

Very nice location, near by the Lake. The surroundings take you back in time. The waiters are very nice ans polite. Food was very good. The only downside is that procès are not so accessible and some of the fish in the menu are pretty expensive. Nevertheless, as far as we understood from the locals, the fish here is 100% fresh and from the Black Sea.

I recommend the mixed starter with toasted bread slices. Fish soup was not recommended so went with freshly caught fish instead. Fish was decent, the shrimps were ok - a little on the pricier side for what it’s worth. The roe salad is a must (comes with the starter). The venue is lovely situated on a small lake.

Not only fish but yes, fish is the main attraction there and very well cooked. Tried several dishes and all were fine. Fast serve, nice and helpful waiters, overall a nice experience. Few cats to entertain you if you like but they're not bothersome. They will beg for food, though 😋

We had one of the most amazing restaurant experience ever, this evening. Even though the menu was in Romanian, only, there were pictures of the fish to be had and our waiter helped us with English translations. He was really attentive, big thank you, Alexandru! The chosen food was delicious. We had Bruschette as a starter and then Catfish on stick. We were then offered to get the last local cheesecake - different but still really tasty. A big thumbs up and a real recommendation for everyone out for a nice meal in nice surroundings!

Very nice place to eat fresh fish

Good music and nice place. However the waiter couldn't recommend anything, although there were only 3 tables occupied and the place basically empty was giving the impression that he was rushing. Brought the food to other guests first that came after us, when he brought our food it was cold. When I sent it back and he brought it again, something was missing from the side dishes, had to ask again... So the place nice, the service not so much.

Had the pleasure of eating here a couple of times. Both occasions everything was excellent. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. It's a bit pricey but definitely worth it. The fish soup is amazing definitely get some. The location is walkable from many of the hotels/resorts in Venus. Highly recommend coming here for a meal or two if you're in Venus.

Although we had reservation, our table was just taken by a couple, we were seated at a table which had dirty mats. The waiter was probably tired and bored, the food was ok, but all the rest shaded that. It could have been a pleasant aniversary but...

They've erased my comment 😂 I have received raw food (the food I ordered was supposed to be boiled and it wasn't), the not-so-well-done food was hella expensive, the waiter was as rude as someone can be and (not that important but) they didn't have anything to drink the whole evening, not even tea!

Excellent food & service!!!

I believe it's the first time I ever leave a negative review on Google Maps, but this place was a huge disappointment considering the amount of amazing reviews I've read before deciding to travel 20 mins by car just to eat here. Unfortunately, there's absolutely nothing good to say about the food. The french fries were sad, soft and oily, the fish was tasteless, the roe salad felt like a roe-less mayo salad, and the list goes on. The only reason behind my 2-star review is the service — the staff was super kind and well trained, they were really quick to take our order and the overall restaurant experience was nice — clean, cosy place with a beautiful view, but that's about it.

Truly lovely experience, excellent food and kind and attentive staff. Delicious, fresh fish. Beautiful setting. Genuinely the most pleasant restaurant I've eaten at anywhere on the Romanian coast.

The waiter brought the menus and we immediately ordered a roe salad. The roe salad was in fact mayonese with some roe inside. Nothing in common with what is supposed to be (check pictures) The waiter never showed up afterwards.

Very bad service. The waiter didn't bring us the menu ... we took it ourselves after we got bored of waiting. In the end we left because no one came to take our order.

Best fish restaurant around! The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was professional while friendly. We were a party of 12 and they looked after us very well If you are in Venus don’t hesitate.

Very quiet and relaxing place. The restaurant is a pontoon over a small pond. Food is good and service is fast. Reservation required. Not all the dishes in the menu are available.
