Pros: they have a really nice swimming pool! Actually, the pool is the only reason I gave a two-star review and not one-star one. Cons: Look, I know it's summer 2022 and inflation skyrocketed, but for a fee of over 100 EUR per night, I do think some condition are mandatory. I stayed for a full weekend (Friday to Sunday) and I couldn't take a decent shower... Each night there was no hot water and after I complained to the reception regarding this issue, yes, hot water started running, but... ONLY hot water.. Cold water lost pressure so I just ended up having boiling water running in my shower. I still couldn't wash properly. Furthermore, room cleanness was a questionable matter.. I'm not that pretentious (even for a fee of over 100 EUR per night!), but seeing awkward spot on the bathroom sink isn't a very pleasing site. Nor the room's overall odor wasn't very appealing... Frankly, you're better off if you stay at a different accommodation and simply come to Club D'or for their pool.

Came here for the pool only as service offered by another accommodation. The pool has a decent size, is clean and has few sunbeds. Also i appreciated the clean bathroom.

i went here a couple times and i personally know the owner, he was always nice but i cant say the same for the staff. The rooms are mostly nice, always clean. The food is not really good, i would not eat there. Some of the staff was rude sometimes. Overall its a nice place to stay if you ignore the staff and the food. Also the pool is not the cleanest.

We've been coming here with big groups for the last 4 years, and it's always been a pleasure. The rooms aren't always the best, and depending on where your room is, you may have issues with getting hot water in the evening. The food is decent, and you have free soda refills when at breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff is really friendly and have attention to detail. Overall a great place to stay

The place overall is nice, the pool looks amazing and it is a pleasure to swim in it. The rooms are average but the service is not that great. in my 4th day I asked for towel replacement and the room service asked for money in exchange of the towels, was a little bit shocked. I went to reception and talked with the manager and she helped me with this situation. The food was also average, it looked ok but it was lacking taste and savory. It is my second year here and most probably I will also come next year, so this review is meant to help improve the quality of service which I am sure it will happen.

I enjoyed this place, it’s perfect for my tastes on the high end side, love the pool and enjoyed the room. Maybe the beds should be a tad bigger and please, no music at the pool and bar at 08 AM! I know you serve breakfast but it’s way too early. Music is enjoyable but after 1-2 PM! Maybe it’s not too close to the beach but when you have the pool it hardly matters! Would definitely come back here!

A wonderful place to stay and chill. The rooms are clean, the service is great and the food is good. I had a great time there, it's a place where you can have fun, you can chill and relax. For sure I will get back and recommend it to my friends if they want a quality place to have a vacation.

Very nice and comfortable place, clean rooms and good conditions, equipped with air conditioning. Far enough from the beach to not be bothered by the noise but close enough to not have to walk too much. Already been there two years in a row for the 1st of May and they are constantly improving. Staff is always polite and helpful and the food in the restaurant is delicious (you have to wait a bit for the food when it's crowded but that is to be expected, as it is cooked food not a sandwich from a fast-food wagon by the beach). Also, breakfast is included and they have a great variety of things that are also high quality. They have a big pool and a lot of sunbeds around it, which is a nice asset during May especially if you want to chill a bit in the sun, as it is still pretty windy on the beach.

An awesome place to spend your vacation. A delightful stay. Room was quiet, clean and the bed was excellent. The staff was nice and very polite. Also, food selection at breakfast was very varied.

Great accomodation, excelent for spending time during the day and also during the night. Close to the beach, shops, eating locations and pubs. I loved the pool (it is large and clean). The rooms are nice and have got anything you need (AC, TV, clean bathroom, confortable bed). The breakfast tastes good also. I stayed here 2 times (2020 and 2021) and I will definitely choose Club D’or again when looking for a place to stay in Vama.

A nice place to stay in Va Veche, with beautiful garden and many trees. The staff is positive and polite, always there for you.

TLDR1; probably decent for lesser price The rooms are not worth the prices during summer season, you can hear everything through the walls from your neighbours, the beds are not comfy, and they could do with an overall upgrade. First room had dirty sheets, dirty blankets, and no soap, had to request new sheets. Second room was clean, but smelled badly due to sewerage. But! You have a pool. And warm water for a shower. TLDR2; my nite joggers were stolen - it's vama veche, but c'mon...60e a night for a room, you'd expect some sort of professionalism. Had to switch rooms half way through stay and forgot my runners in first room under the bed. Locked the room upon leaving, handed the key over to front-desk, and by evening time I remembered I left them under the bed & went to check with front desk and in the room. The front desk received nothing, went to the old room and the new guests were 2 sweet gals that let me check the room, and went back to front desk to ask if they could talk to the cleaning lady/staff and return them. Apparently within 2-4 hours my runners went missing into thin air. My fault for forgetting them, but... dang, at least wait until the guest leaves the premises completely before stealing.

An awesome place, with kind and funny staff. We catched a somehow rainy weekend and we could still manage to have fun over there. Remember, if the chef is present in the location, try to eat there and not out in town.

From the other reviews, I thought that this experience will be amazing. It was not. The only thing that looks exactly like in the photos is the pool, which I appreciate. It is clean and the water is perfect for a hot summer day. The food dissapointed me big time. We were served the same food daily. If you didn't eat it the first time, they would give it to you, naming it differently. I couldn't sleep well, the music was loud, it was cold in August. The towels had dirty spots. I know the prices are ok, but I would have chosen another place or even another resort like Costinești or Eforie.

Great accomodation in Vama Veche! Fourth time i come here. Nice breakfast, clean rooms, nice garden, great pool, prices acceptable. Totally reccomended

It is what you expect for the price. The personnel is ok, the food so and so, the rooms pretty clean. The pool is clean and the water temperature is exactly what you need to refresh a little.
