Dalboka The Mussel Farm

Restaurant Seafood restaurant

😐 The service is very slow, especially if you're not a big group that would ensure big tips. :) Also, all tables are booked, until a bigger group shows up with no reservation. It's a place to try once, to check it off the list, but wouldn't go back again. We tried the assorted plate with mussels cooke... People often mention good, view, road, great, service, mussels, restaurant,

The service is very slow, especially if you're not a big group that would ensure big tips. :) Also, all tables are booked, until a bigger group shows up with no reservation. It's a place to try once, to check it off the list, but wouldn't go back again. We tried the assorted plate with mussels cooked in different ways. The mussels skewers were good though. 🍢🍢🍢

I heard a lot of good things about the place, but my experience didn't match what I heard about it. The personnel was totally overwhelmed by the number of people. It took a lot of time for someone to get our order, it took almost an hour for the food to arrive to our table and that wouldn't have been a problem if the food would have been good, but it came cold and really disappointing. The only good thing was the view, but I don't think I'll visit again.

It was a sunny day, good food and friendly service. Not far from Kavarna town 3.5km. Be careful when you drive down to the restaurant as the road isn't good at all

Probably one of the most impressive restaurant I ever been to. The sea food is fresh as it can be, the stuff are lovely and the location, omg is out of this world. Eating sea food on a table with the sea waves right next to the table, is fantastic. And on top of that the prices are very good. The only down side is the access road, namely the last 200-300 meters before the restaurant is a very steep and kind of narrow road and is in a pretty bad condition. Beside that, the over all way of getting here is fine and easy to find.

Visited in 2013 and tge food was great. Unfortunately the mussels were underwhelming. Not great not terrible, but tiny and not overly great in flavour. The rest was good and it's still nice atmosphere where tables are right next to the sea with lovely view.

A seaside gem for mussel enthusiasts The mussel farm is nestled by the tranquil waters of the north Black Coast and provides an unforgettable dining experience. Picturesque views of the sea (especially during sunsets =18:30h), the sounds of the waves and the gentle breeze set the stage for a delightful meal. All the dishes tasted incredibly fresh and the service was impeccable. If you find yourself near the north Black Coast, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to Dalboka mussel farm.

Mussels restaurant on the beach. It has lost its charm from the first years of its existence. There isn't trace of the romantic restaurant 4-5 years ago. Now there is only the sea on one side and a lot of concrete and stone on the other. The prices are horror. For about 200 g of fried potatoes - BGN 8 or boiled potatoes - BGN 7. Meatballs or kebapche - BGN 5, a slice of factory bread - BGN 0.50. I don't expect them to be at prices like in stores, but at the price of 15 slices of bread 2 BGN, the markup is 300%!!! Mussel dishes are around BGN 15, but they are small in weight. Caviar and mussels po burgaski are very tasty. If you do visit, order this. The toilets are in sheds, though the prices in the restaurant suggest that they are at least in normal premises. The road there continues to be abominable. We used to visit it with friends several times every summer, but apparently we will have to give it up now.

I ate delicious fish and seafood there. The location is very beautiful, right next to the water. The place is clean and the service is good. The access road is on a very steep slope and is quite dangerous.

A unique place with one of the greatest view on the Bulgarian shore. We found a homie atmosphere, pleasant staff, great service, fresh and very good food, fish and mussels. It's a pleasure to get back here on every time of the year. Keep it up and see you again

The entry is in a steep valley and not all cars can climb up as the road is some cement with calcar and very slippery, better leave the car on top. The view is great and quite unique location. Good food and very fresh. The waiters know romanian.

Great place, medium food. It's not a bad place to eat, the view is great, the food is ok. Not great, not bad. If you expect a nice experience go, if you expect something extraordinary not the case. P.S. Mussel with coconut is good.

Good seafood, amazing view, and although there are lots of people, the crew manages to serve relatively fast. A great experience with a breathtaking view, with the sea and its waves plus seagulls caressing your senses.

A beautiful place, close to the sea, a wonderful view and a very quiet place. The staff is very friendly and the service is impeccable. The food is delicious and very fresh. Here I ate the best mussels and the best guvid. I recommend you if you want to try fish and mussels from the Black Sea. I will come back with pleasure. However, be careful with the parking lot, it is very steep and congested.

Good food, nice atmosphere (except the flying seagulls 😅), but a bit of a waiting game as it is busy even during weekdays. Ordering is a bit slow, food choice is good and expectations from the reviews are the reality. I recommend. All of the food was completely finished. Mussels were quite nice.

Interesting place! Good food and nice mood. Enjoyed staying there. Parking is a bit of a challenge - slopy road. Best to visit late in the afternoon.... for the summer season.

Just 4 stars because they don't accept payment by card, or you add 10% comision and the rate exchange is far from the real exchange course. The meal is very good and tasty. One plus for the site. Pleasant and kindly stuff.

Delicious food but not enough waiters, we had to wait quite a bit to take our order. Everything then went on fast and smooth

The food and atmosphere were very good. The presentation of the food as well as the way it was served shows the high class of the kitchen. Unfortunately, however, a little more attention should be paid to the service. There was a long wait to order, and it was apparent that the staff was in a constant hussle and bustle.

Tasty food, friendly staff and an amazing view of the sea. The mussel and fish dishes are delicious. There also are a couple of options for people who do not want to eat seafood. The prices are a bit high, but it is definitely worth it. It can get quite crowded, so it is a good idea to make a reservation. The concrete road is steep and narrow, but most cars should be able to handle it.
