The staff were very rude and did not allow a family of 6 with small children to wait for 30min until they opened the restaurant. We only asked to take a seat until they were ready for us. They were visibly upset that we asked them a couple of questions. Will never eat at Nikos in the future. They should train the staff better. Customer experience are unknown words to them.

It's a bit expensive but the food is really good and the portions are big.

Place is nice, food is really good but the atmosphere is so noisy from the club nearby. You can barely hear your thoughts. Also the toilet is really disappointing, just too dirty for such a "upscale" place.

This is my new favorite restaurant. I love greek food and i have been in Greece more than 10 times and I can tell you this restaurant would be a hit in Greece as well. Superb food and excellent service. By the way, the food comes extremly fast. Fastest service I have ever encountered. Everything is fresh, including the sea food.

Food is mediocre, but edible. Would have given it two stars but the service is unbelievably poor: - all the staff looked at us when we entered but no one came to us, just carried on walking around the restaurant. We had to go up to them to ask 'do you work here?!' - when we asked for a table, one waiter just pointed to the outside, didn't bother taking us there - in the middle of very obviously still looking at the menu, the waiter came to push us to make an order - ordered mezze but they didn't bring plates. - no one even bothered to check if the food was ok - at the end, no one asked if we wanted coffee, dessert or again, if the food was ok - the waiter came and told us we need the bill because they're closing soon (at least 20 mins before they are supposed to close) - staff kept waking up and down, checking their watches, leaning against the table - then they tried to kick us out, even though we hadn't finished 😂 we didn't leave and they turned all the lights off 😂 These staff need basic training in customer service... smile, take people to a table, wait for them to be resdy to order, ask if things are okay, let them finish their food and drink! @MR NIKOS, THIS TERRIBLE SERVICE WOULD NOT HAPPEN IN GREECE! THEREFORE THIS IS NOT A GREEK RESTAURANT!

Good Greek food, nice tavern and fast service. It's one of the better places to eat in Mamaia if you're tired of the traditional Romanian food. The prices are a bit high but the quality of the food makes up for it. The menu is really diverse and vegetarian friendly. It contains soups, salads, fish and meat dishes and some tasty desserts. The place is neat, spatious and the service is fast and realiable even in the most crowded days. The only negative thing I can say about the place is the fact that they never ever give out anything from the house: appetizers or small desserts (as it's customary in many Greek places); we've visited many Greek places and eaten in a lot of restaurants (even in Central Europe), but Nikos Greek Tavern was the only network where we were never given anything (and that kind of breaks the apart the whole Greek tradition). Overall it's certainly a place to try out and a tavern where we gladly come back time after time.

Great and many choises of greek food. One of the best place to fuel after a clubbing night. The food is tasty and even if inside was crowdy, the service was really fast. I like that is not taverna look like, I mean is stylish kind of restaurant, interesting interior. Good prices and the staff is friendly. Haloumi was tasty and well done, fried feta cheese delicious, the fried zucchini was good. Also try the baclava sweet, great and big portion size.

The best grilled calamari I had in Romania. Almost as good as the ones I ate in Greece.
