It was a good experience. Food and hospitality was also nice. Recommended for friends, family and couples. Spacious and these is based on traditional values- the puppets, turban and the cutlery. No WiFi facility. They may ask you to order food from thier own app (but it's not compulsory, you can directly ask them about your order). Ample amout of space for sit and eat. Takeaway might be available (not sure). E-billing available. Menu available on table and on thier app. Washrooms were clean and the overall space looks hygienic. Group of friends can enjoy dining- Lunch, Dinner with Veg and Non-Veg meals. Starters, beverages, main course, combo, bread and desert available. Staff is less in covid time but is enough. Food quality - Good and enjoyable. Rest all pics can justify.

A very good restaurant with desi theme and delightful food. The rate is so reasonable, tge bill for 4 people was 1100 and yeah we ate and drank a lot. You can get nice photos here. Nice place to have lunch annd dinner with buddies, prices are affordable. Right place to enjoy your small birthday treat with your 4 -6 friends here. Visibility and interor are awesome. Taste of the food are subject to your wishes, however good only.

Pathetic service from here, it was only compensated by the considerable food served. I had place an order through their app, but the app didn't update the order. The waiter didn't care to ask for the confirmation of the order for more than hour. Suggestion: to bring back normal service (without the app) and focus on customer experience along with serving good quality food

Absolutely pathetic service. No issues with the quality of food and taste though. The restaurant take a pride by taking orders on tablets. However this is absolutely 3rd class service. First of all they dont have adequate number of tablets. Then they ask customers to place order using their app from playstore. Finally after waiting for an hour or so, the waiter comes in to inquire and confirm the order. Total wastage of time and they take the entire order again. This is not a one time experience but has been a repeated act by the restaurant staff. Suggestion: If you cant handle the technology dont try to act smart. Take orders using pen and paper. If you dont have stationery, we have got pen and paper. Have some professionalism and courtesy to change or improve your malpractices.

Amazing Place. I regret not coming here even once till tofay. If the name was something different, I'd have definitely tried it much earlier. Taste is good, ambience is good and staff behaviour is decent (if not bad). It's a 17th-18th century themed restaurant. The plate they provided was around 50 cm in diameter, the largest I had food on. Almost 10% discount is given for IIT Students. Definitely worth for the next visit.

The place is easily approachable, they have large dine hall, good parking space and polite staff. Veg food is good specially the malai chaap and paneer tikka but non-veg is not that delicious.

One of the best Restaurant in Roorkee. The best part is their combos you can get everything you want in the wide range of combos. Also service and ambience is awesome. The best part is owner of the restaurant Mr. Mayank Singhal is always there on the floor and manages each and every thing.

Taste is good but service is not that good. It took more than 30 min to process our order. Also parking wasn't available. Chiken chnagezi and shakes were good.will recommend it

We tried hariyali chicken,lacha parata and tea from here. Good restaurant, nice place to hangout with friends and family. The ambience and interior work wass really beautiful. Food was also tasty, but expensive compared to other restaurants in town.

This place has a tradition... New-age ordering system (tab-based). Traditional and unique serving utensils. And, a completely different interior. Loved it in some other corner of heart...

The creator had envisioned it very well. You can understand it by seeing the interiors. But the current management has been unable to maintain the interiors. Lack of cleanliness. Waiters too aren't very professional. Food is above average.

Nice place . Food quality is good. The quantity of food is also good. I have ordered there thali which has a great variety of dishes including 3 types of daal and paneer dishes. There tawa roti is also good in taste. The quantity is well enough as you don't have to reorder something again. The thali also have salad ,raita and sweet dish. Ambience is also nice. They have a good staff with a nice service. They are trying to make the place looks like a vintage place. So you can definitely visit it once. Overall a great experience.,👍👍

Desi tadka is a very good restaurant in Roorkee uttarakhand. It is near IIT roorkee on haridwar road. The atmosphere, theme , hospitality services and the food is all very good. The mushroom masala curry and dal makhani is very good. The garlic naan and khameeri rotu is also very good. The dessert gulab jamun and ice cream combo is amazing so is the brownie ice cream.

Good food, both veg and non-veg at affordable prices. Covers wide variety of dishes featuring various cuisines. Do try veg and non-veg combos, if you have a big group and don't want big hole in your pocket.

A place you should visit ONLY if it is not a special occasion for you. They have NOTORIOUS habit of often delaying food even after assuring multiple times. In case you have tons of time in hand and are open to spend an hour chatting with your folks AFTER ordering food, this is the place to go! No agenda, only giving two star because food was decent

Great food at very reasonable rates! Good service, polite staff, nice ambience; suitable for couples, large groups or individuals. Versatile menu to choose from. Can't ask for anything more, very satisfied with the experience.
