Heads up, this is a small, old bowling alley with no modern updates. My husband and I came here for a date night. We originally bought two games with shoes. The first issue we had was adding a second player to the game. The man behind the shoe counter said it was a user issue that happens all the time but I know I made no mistake, it was actually on their end. Especially when I saw it happen to the person next to us too and they also made no mistake. Then we had another issue where we had to reset the pins. The next complaint is that the walking area just before the black line was very slippery which it shouldn’t be. Made for a very cautious bowl as we did not want to hurt ourselves. Our biggest complaint is with the staff. We were having fun so we bought another game but it didn’t start the game right after. My husband then went to the man behind the shoe counter and notified him of our issue. He accused us of not paying saying he’d let it slide. This bowling alleys staff tried to stiff us out of our money saying we didn’t pay for it when we actually paid in cash. This put such a very bad taste in our mouth that we probably would consider another bowling alley. This incident is a huge red flag considering it’s probably one of the smallest bowling alley’s I’ve ever been to. If you’re in this establishment, get receipts because their staff doesn’t know how to do their job right. After reading other reviews of this place we realize this is a common complaint of rude staff. I’m surprised they are still in business to be honest.

This place is a total disgrace!! Staff were super rude. Lanes kept breaking down. Food was terrible. I just wanted to have a good time with my grandkids but unfortunately we couldn’t! After this experience I will never return back.

First time here and not impressed at all. Staff were very rude. They don’t treat the people like real customers. Not too impressed with the lanes either. We ordered notches which were disgusting. They were super stale and hard. I will never return.

First time here was for Friday night cosmic bowl (9:30PM-12AM) and it was pretty cool. Very clean place and the staff was incredibly friendly. Huge selection of house balls. Cool gaming area for kids and a bar on site. I believe they served food as well, but I'm not totally sure since we didn't order anything. We were able to get a lane with no issue since it's early in the season, but I'd imagine it would be pretty crowded during regular season. At the time we went 10/18/19, the price for cosmic bowl was $12 each (including shoes) for all you can bowl from 9:30-12. Which, in my opinion, is a screaming deal. Cheap date night 😁 🎳Looking forward to coming back soon! 🎳

My girlfriend use to work here and she was treated badly Jerry got in her face and mine blamed me why he fired her she thinks they stoke her money and just used her until others got out of college he's a very ignorant man I've tried working there but Jerry lies they never take the hiring sign down he said if I was able to work there that my girlfriend couldn't walk through the door and if she did he would send me out the door even if I didn't do anything we should get the state involved with this the fda someone that should put Jerry in his place he is very rude and I'm not even from Illinois I just cane in there to give my girlfriend something for her headache because she had a concussion from slipped and hitting her head on the shower he told all the employees about it made a big deal about it told her not to come in even though he told her to come in with the concussion and she had a doctor's note and never put her in the system as a employee he used my girlfriend like she's some object and this really upset me I caught him in the kitchen in my girlfriends face towering over her she made a mistake on cooking a pizza which if a employee makes a mistake the mangers should of trained her and they didn't my girlfriend is a sweet heart unprofessional stuck up man in my girlfriends face crying I watched him doing this I'm her boyfriend we've been together for 5 years telling my girlfriend the reason he fired her because I should stay out of it any man would feel the same way if they saw another man in there girlfriend's face while tears are running down her face he really broke her confidence and something should be done about him and the girl working the bar we both are special needs I don't like bullies and Jerry that works at this bowling alley is a bully please help us stand up to the people that want to bully people like us #endbullying

Cool, little out of the way spot, drinks are decently priced. Visit the bar. Good luck getting a lane as they have allot of leagues.

Nice lanes. The waitress/ porter/ busperson is awesome. She works super hard and makes your time there pleasant. The bar tender, on the other hand. It would be nice if she was friendly and smiled. She is super slow with bar service. If you're bowling, be ready to hold up the game. She takes a long time waiting on you. She spends a lot of time on her phone.

Today we had our son’s 5th birthday at Laraway Lanes and all I can say is the staff and helpers are some of the sweetest and hardworking I have seen in a long time. We came in and EVERYTHING was set up and looked perfect! All we had to bring was the cake and balloons and the there were already balloons. They took our sons photo to show on the screens. The helpers were very responsive and shown great customer service. Our party had a blast and I don’t have a single complaint or had an issue! We were there for open bowl back in November and again, it’s one of our favorite places! Thank you Laraway Lanes! Our son had a blast.
