This place was absolutely filthy. There were bugs on the pillow and bed bugs coming out behind the headboard. The pillow cases and sheets still had hair and sweat stains from the previous people who booked the room. The shower was clogged due to the hair on the drain. A bunch of hair was throughout the room and in the sink. After complaining they offered to give me sheets for me to replace. Those were dirty as well. They refused to refund me for the room. The BBB is notified and investigating. I highly recommend that you never book a room here.

Let me tell you , I had an opportunity to stay at other hostels in NYC while I was in between apartments and this was a rush decision to book room in this place. You don't get the basics of what you pay for. From the experience speaking, it is not true that if you need better you need to pay more. For same price you can get way better conditions and it is true. In my room there were cockroaches, smell was horrible, loud noises, dirty bad sheets, dirty clogged bathrooms and it reminded me a place from some horror movie! Please do yourself a favor and never book anything there. No illusions, this place is a disaster. Business owners : If you are unable to maintain the basic standards such as cleaning in your Hotel then close the business! This is a good example of owners who are ignorant and irresponsible to allow for this to happen!

So bad it shouldn't be legal. Truly squalor. Dirty and they should pay guests to stay here.

So read alot of reviews and it's been since 2016 but I go too look to see if this place is still standing and it is smh Everything was dirty no exaggeration DIRTY. My floor shared 1 restroom like wth. But the kicker was I feel my room was definitely occupied by a dark spirit or energy I experienced sleep paralysis for the first time while also seeing something entering my room I was their 3 nights. That happened the first night I stayed awake the last 2. Never forgot this experience so I feel I should at least try to warn someone before they make the same mistake. More like a haunted hostel frfr

When I came inside the hotel in the afternoon. The reception guy was stinking! He looks like a homeless man who have been outside for more than 20 years. He is a black man with a blue shirt and black pants and looks filthy. Then when I first check in, he told me to check in at 3 PM because he had to leave. Then after he went, a lady came to the reception and got me my room. I would not go to this place ever again!

WORST hotel stay I have ever experienced. UNSANITARY!! The first room they gave me had wet stains on the sheets which I assume was bodily fluids, the walls and floor were dirty, and the floor bathroom was covered with pee all over the floor. Then after insisting for a refund after deciding that sleeping in my car would be a better experience, the second room they gave me ALSO had dirt spots on the sheets. Never stay here.

This is an awful hotel. As another person on here commented it shouldn’t even be called a hotel. It’s super dirty. I’ve been to hotels in developing countries that were much cleaner. The sheets and pillow cases had blood stains on them, the bathroom floor was always wet and dirty, the shower looked really gross and there are gaping holes all throughout the building. One part of the ceiling in my room was sealed with a pillow. There’s no elevators and the rooms are really tiny. I was on the fifth floor with a large suitcase, so as you can imagine that was a nightmare. The only good things about this hotel are the location and the staff seem friendly and can be helpful when they’re not busy listening to music or watching YouTube videos on the job. DON’T GO TO THIS HOTEL! It’s not even that cheap. Pay a little more for a decent place. You won’t regret it.

Worst hotel I have ever experienced. I often travel in the 2nd and 3rd world. I believe the water here is safe, but the place is filthy. Significant amounts of human hair on the bed and towels. Both were stained with what I assume to be bodily fluids. Walls and floors are caked in... something. Mildew and dust covering everything. The place smells like a public restroom. Noises carry very well through the building and it is very noisy from both visitors and equipment. Will not return. Good location.

Our experience was horrible. There‘s was as good as no space in our room, which isn‘t too bad. But everything else was awful. We didn‘t have a proper sleep because it was very loud the whole night, eighter from the traffic outside or because the people in the hotel (including the staff!) would talk really loud in the middle of the night. Also, this place was really dirty. The bed sheets were clearly not washed (which we could tell from strangers hair and stains on ALL the bedsheets), you can see mold everywhere, including the bathroom, and the floor wasn‘t clean. The hallway smelled like marijuana the whole time. I give 1 star because the guy on the reception was nice, but we had a really awful experience.

Very good value for money if you don't mind some of the rooms not having windows. The staff put up with my complaints and were mainly very helpful in terms of getting me more bedding and asking people to be quiet after ten p.m. It was an interesting experience to stay there on the edge of Chinatown for the first time apart from one night in the past on a previous visit to the US. The hotel is excellently located for Chinatown and Little Italy and Soho, the Lower East Side and the Seward Park area. I had thought I would miss the food further uptown where I had been staying but I found some excellent cheap places to eat and buy snacks to take back to the hotel. A couple of times the bathrooms hadn't been cleaned but I put this down to outsiders and most of the time they were very clean. The room was small but mine was pretty. The room was warm enough and the emissions not too bad, worse in the reception area.

This place is horrible. As soon as I walked in there with my friend it smelled like someone had died and was smoking at the same time. Not to mention the hallways looked horrifying. And the room was so small! There is moldy wood and run down sinks. If you ever wanna consider staying here. DONT.

Disgraceful, The staff are beyond prejudice, The owner name is Steven & his family runs this terrible Hotel. They have bedbugs Plus broken windows. Never again, I recommend no one goes there for vacation getaway. It’s cheap all right, you won’t be satisfied. Anyone that gives this place a four star, are cheap and dirty.

This hotel is quite good but it's just that I saw a baby in the fridge singing “a ram sam Sam a ram sam sam” continuesly. It freaked me out that I slept in the bathroom. Speaking of bathroom, there was a group of bald men dancing in the bathroom. I had to kick them out! Bed was clean, floor have saliva or pee stains I don't really mind. Best hotel!

Best hotel I've ever stayed at. The bed was so comfortable and the locals made me feel very safe. The one bathroom I shared with the entire floor was very clean and gave a sense of community. I will definitely be staying here again. Also I loved the art on the doors. Very nice.

So I was playing on da hood on my way here and my service was so bad i almost lost a 20 v 2 ( i was the 20 ) anyways when i arrived here the front desk staff was super rude and looked and acted like they reallydont care next up in my room the room was so tiny i couldnt even open my luggage and when i went to my bed there were literally like a million bed bugs and i had to use a plastic bag to get rid of all of them. Next the bathroom shared on the 5th floor is disgusting and there was a poop on the floor and the were was sticked on bloody pads clogged in the toilet absolutely disgusting. Lastly the wifi was so bad I was trying to call my family back home and their faces like morphed into a deformed frog and looks like they were about to throw up and they dont normally look like deformed frogs it was just the wifi. plus when i was trying to do my buisness ( aka poo ) the door wouldnt close and a girl brushing her teeth had to watch me poop and i felt like something come out of the toilet and eat me i just had an unsafe feeling inside of me . and there were NO locks on the rooms

I came to this hotel on a budget as an attempt to relax in San Francisco. Unfortunately, my room was DISGUSTING. There was dead skin on the pillow and bedsheet, hair in the shower drain, and BREAST MILK IN THE FRIDGE. I quickly ran down to the lobby to complain to the workers, when I saw a familiar face, IT WAS JUDE BELLINGHAM! We both were complaining to the workers about our disgusting rooms when the workers had enough and threw us out! We were angry and sat on the sidewalk and talked about how rude they were. We talked for so long it ended up being 12 hours just sitting on the street. He was so inlove with me that he ended asking me to go on his private jet and to fly me to Madrid. Little did he know I was texting this weirds 23 year old and he got mad at me because I didn’t answer him for 12 hours. I said i was asleep because I knew he was jealous of Jude Bellingham. So in the air with Jude, he PROPOSED TO ME!!! Now we’re secretly married and yeah, the weird 23 year old doesn’t know. don’t go to this hotel unless you want to marry a rich cute celebrity.
